UFO reports are usually given credibility by the character of the reporter. What could be more credible than a report by an airline pilot?

A pilot with 14 years of experience has reported the sighting of an orange/white glowing UFO as he began to make a landing in San Francisco. His co-pilot also witnessed the anomaly that baffled them in 2004.

One of the most researched cases in UFO history is the Rendlesham Forest Landing Case of 1980. A number of US military personnel witnessed UFOs, one even close enough to touch a landed craft, anomalous atmospheric conditions, and possibly even communication with beings that emerged from a landed craft.

One of the foremost witnesses of the event of late December, 1980 was Colonel Charles Halt, who along with a group of soldiers, took a trek into the forest to investigate the strange events. He made an audio recording of this venture, and later filed a report to the British Mod.

He has now come forward and stated that what he and other base members saw were "structured," and alien in origin.

“I believe the objects that I saw at close quarters were extraterrestrial in origin,” Halt proclaims. Halt's statement was touted as "sensational" by UFO investigator Nick Pope, who made the following statement.

Mr Pope said: “This may help us to finally solve Britain’s biggest UFO mystery. “It blows the MoD’s line that these events had ‘no defence significance’ out of the water.”

This is a very profound, to say the least. But, do you think his statement will have an impact on UFO study?

We know how active Great Britain's skies have been for quite some time, and here is another report with photograph from Bridlington. It seems that any report from there must first be cleared of any Chinese Lanterns. A number of these recent sightings are not caused by the lanterns.

One report from Field Road, Bridlington, is of a glowing object which simply disappeared before the reporter's eyes. Another report was of a "halogen" like light was slowly moved into the clouds, against the wind.

A third report comes from Mount Crescent, where fourteen-year-old Nicole Sinclair saw red lights moving quickly across the sky. She managed to take the photograph you see above.

You know that one of the most intriguing aspects of UFO sightings has always been the "waves," or "spates." Why, I wonder does this happen?

Welcome to this week's sightings reports. We have two reports from North Carolina, and two from Ohio to take a look at. The first North Carolina report is of a couple of witnesses who were looking at the Big Dipper, and got a big surprise. The second report relates a sighting by a witness, who on the very same night, saw two flashing objects in the sky.

The first report from Ohio details an oval-shaped UFO that moved just above the tree tops, and our second Ohio report relates a round, red unknown object.
