The Alien Abduction Issue
Monday December 5, 2005
Here we go again on the always controversial issue of Alien abduction. Always, a thought provoking subject.
This book review, Abduction Not Real by Susan A. Clancy tells us that the enigma of Alien abduction is now solved. It is simply a matter of the alleged abductees being confused, having night terrors, sleep paralysis, or having these memories created for them by pro-abduction couselors and hypnotists.
My take on this is that even if there was an explanation for abductions that interrupt sleep. what about all of the abductions that occurred when the victim was wide awake? The Hill abduction, Stanford, Kentucky, Linda Napolitano, Bluff Ledge, Allagash, just to name a few. I am a proponent of examining each particular case on its own merits, and the abduction phenomena is just too complex to be solved by a hypothesis that covers the entire spectrum of cases.

Billy you are so right. I truly believe in the UFO phenomenon and I have had sleep paralysis. But I have never for one second confused this experience with some kind of visitation or abduction. Its just too easy and comfortable for nay-sayers to lump every single experience under the umbrella of confusion, insanity, hoaxes or lying. It doesn’t pay to have tunnel vision. That light at the end just might be a train.
Hi guys I just wondered if you can sponsor my jog through Scuthorpe, its only £789 so just a little, please. Much aprreciated
Billy you are so Wrong. I truly do not believe in the UFO phenomenon and I have had great sleep. But I have for two and a half second confused this experience with some kind of visitation or abduction. Its just too easy and comfortable for nay-sayers to hump every single experience under the umbrella of confusion, insanity, hoaxes or lying. It does pay to have Bad eyesight. That light at the end just might be a plane.
Jim - why don’t you shutup because you don’t Know and as for messing up my coment-you make me sick
So then, who do you think will get relegated from the prem in the 2009/10 season?
My bottom 3:
Wigan
Hull
Wolves
I think Wigan may be suseptable to going down, alot of there great players are leving, Stoke, i think, will be near the bottom, you know about secong season syndrome don’t you Pulis? Burnley could be another Derby, but have belief that with a few signings, they’ll stay up.
I think League 1 will be a great league next year as you have lots of big clubs in the mix with the likes of leeds, norwich, charlton, southampton and the ever growing flourashing mk dons with rising attendances. I think jabo ihere will be good for the dons as i have seen him perform well at leyton orient and walsall
so to all teams i say good luck and you are crap
I think it is like this i know how I feel about The Franchise. I know how I feel about the idea of football, US-style, with “The Club” meaning little more than a collection of abstract contractual relationships, scouring the land looking for a good untapped market. It goes against what as a child I had identified as the sense of community and identity that comes with supporting a football team, without which it seems an arbitrary and almost pointless endeavour. But the times are changing, and a lot of people see this notion as both outdated and unprofitable. I approached FourFourTwo’s interview with Pete Winkelman (in their November 2004 edition) with an open mind - perhaps this was just a well-meaning guy who hadn’t understood the full implications of what he was doing. What I found was a head-in-the-sand arrogance, and the impression of a childish man with little respect for the dignity or intelligence of others. I would like to here about your opinions on the matter
