A Big Fish Story?
Friday February 3, 2006
One of the most famous abduction cases in ufology has come under fire as of late. Not a big surprise really; it has been in the hot spot before. After nearly 30 years, the skeptics are still trying to eliminate what they cannot accept. 1976's Allagash Abduction is derived from the testimony of four grown men who see an unknown glowing object over the lake which moves toward their canoe, causing them to make a dash to the shore. A large, blazing fire has been reduced to embers when they awake on the shore, indicating missing time. Later it would be revealed that the four art students were abducted in the classic sense.
A Fisherman's Tale by Aaron Sakulich, falls a long way short of really looking at the facts of this famous case, seriously doubting the explanation of the events because many of the details were drawn from regressive hypnosis. Look at the facts, Mr. Sakulich, even before the hypnosis, and you have a very credible encounter with a UFO, and an extremely compelling case of missing time.
