UFO Photograph I Had Never Seen

One of the nicest things about being a UFO researcher is that you meet a lot of nice folks who are interested in the same things you are. A nice extra benefit to this is I am always receiving reports, photographs, and videos from our readers. Just recently I received an extremely interesting E-mail from a man named Dave. Dave had a copy of a photograph of a UFO that I had never seen. Not an easy accomplishment I might add.

This photograph, according to Dave, first appeared in Flying Saucer Review. Dave contacted them for information on the photo, but received no reply. Dave tells me that the photo copy he has is from a Life Magazine issue of the late 1950s. The photo was taken in December 1957, by the radio officer aboard the naval ship S. S. Ramsey. It was seen from the ship's deck, as it hovered in the sky. The radio officer grabbed his camera and took this picture before the object disappeared. The fact that the object itself was taken almost 50 years ago does not in any way take from its importance. It certainly has the look and feel of the classic saucers of the era.
