UFO Photographed over Auckland

A recent Internet article gives some nice coverage of a UFO sighting that took place in Auckland's Viaduct Basin. This sighting is unusual because a very clear video was taken of a UFO in broad daylight. The Sunday News reported that they have received the footage of the UFO, but it is not available at this time. Hopefully, I can get a copy of it, and do a little editing, and see exactly what we have. The site did supply a frame grab of the video, but it is not really large enough to do much with. A small cropped image is included here. Hopefully, it will give you some idea of how good the footage was.

UFO Sighting in Auckland was penned by Ursula Hudson. She tells us that the footage has been sent to the Civil Aviation Authority and the Ministry of Defence, both of which are unable to identify the object as anything conventional. World reknown photograph expert Dr. Bruce Maccabee is to examine the film also. It is very odd to me that the filming of the Viaduct Basin object occurred last October, and it is just now being reported. Richard Simpson, a well-known photographer, took the compelling film while doing an assigment for the magazine. "It was travelling extremely fast. In fact I'd have to say definitely faster than a bird," Simpson told Sunday News. The magazine is not operational any more, but Simpson retrieved the film. Several UFO experts have taken a look at the image, and they are not able to assign any type of bird or plane as the unknown object. This is one that I will post more on, when and if new information comes to me.
