In 1997, one of the most important events in UFO history occurred. Soon becoming an internationally known case, the Phoenix Lights still tantalize us today. With a large collection of witnesses, all reporting virtually the same object or objects, and a good number of photographs and videos taken, no one can deny that something out of this world occurred in the Arizona area beginning on March 13. Although government officials, and state and local officers claimed that the lights were only flares, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that flares dropped from an airplane don't move as one unit, nor do they fly in a triangular shape over people's backyards showing frame work underneath. Phoenix and its surrounding areas still have more than average sighting reports, with ample photographic and video evidence.
They're Out There gives us an in depth look at Dr. Lynne Kitei, former actress and one of the biggest proponents of an extraterrestrial connection to the Phoenix Lights. In the beginning, Kitei, a medical doctor, kept her evidence and sighting private, because of what her fellow professionals might think; what it would do to her reputation. Now, because of her appearance on Coast to Coast AM radio show, the reluctant physician is promoting her evidence to the general public with a documentary on the Lights. In her own words:
“After seven years of anonymity, I recently came forward as a key witness to the historic Arizona mass sighting of March 13, 1997,” said Kitei. “Besides giving up the position as Chief Clinical Consultant of the Imaging & Wellness Center at the Arizona Heart Institute, I pushed my medical career aside to compile a meticulous journal including witness, media, military reports, and scientific analysis of my own experiences.”

The picture at the top of your article is from a 10 PM video shot by Mike Krysten near south Phoenix. There are 5 of these videos total. All shot around 10PM. These are more than likely flares. However, no one knows for sure as these videos are distant and not up close. No one got any closer to these late night videos than what you see here. It was some 35-45 miles away, not over Phoenix and probably not even in Maricopa county.
However, from 8:16 thru 8:45 there are thousands of witnesses to the many large craft seen slowly moving throught the state of Arizona.
One needs to understand that there was not just one event during the “Massive UFO Flyover of Arizona March 13, 1997″, but many.
But, the entire evening has been so poorly investigated the truth of that wonderful night may never be reveiled.
I should know, I (we) got to see the large V shaped object at 8:30 PM from our home in Chandler, AZ., and have been argueing the “flare” story for over nine and a half years.

my friend Morning Star, her family were related to the past Indian tribal people.of Phoenix, there was connection with the Star people, and the Diamond shape sky bird, and the weather dolls. sky birds are UFOs. its a Indian story of thousand years ago. Many our Indian people are gathering storys and time for their people to come for them. beliefs are different… end of times as we see it…true or not very interesting storys.
THE PHOENIX LIGHTS WERE NOT FLARES…THE SAME V SHAPED LIGHTS WERE SEEN AROUND NEW YORK STATE, IN 1985, WRITTEN ABOUT IN THE BOOK, “NIGHT SEIGE”. I MYSELF SAW THESE SAME V SHAPED LIGHTS, LATE AT NIGHT IN MISSOURI… WAY BACK IN 1974!! SO IF THIS WAS SECRET AIRCRAFT, IT WOULD BE OUTDATED BY NOW.
I met Dr. Lynne at a booksigning in Chandler, AZ, a few years ago. Very honest, wonderful woman. BRAVE to come out with her knowledge of UFO’s in her profession.
Anyhow, anyone who has followed the “Phoenix Lights” investigation should know that after some prodding, Dr. Lynne got the Army, who too said these were “flares”, to do a repeat of the “flares”. They took their planes up, dropped real flares and they look absolutely NOTHING like the true “Phoenix Lights”/UFO. Flares GLOW and emit sparks not to mention they MOVE with the wind erratically. Duh; don’t have to be a physicist to know that. The Army, trying to shut Dr. Lynne up, did the opposite and they looked like fools themselves.
Much has been going on in the Phoenix area. I had an unusual sighting in the early 80’s. My opinion is that the “Phoenix Lights” have been there a long time and aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.
i have been to phoenix many times.and in 2001 i met humanoid aliens.they are emotionally sensitive,intelligent and good looking with one slight difference.
they are organized not merely in arizona but on the east coast as well.
i was very glad to see these visitors and assess them as beneficial to this planet.it is my understanding that they are transplanting humans from here to their areas.a reverse colonization.probobally,because they see this planet in severe trouble.
There is a picture of the moon and if you go to The Unexplained.com ran by Chad Lewis and Terry Fisk, you will see this shape with a light under the moon.It looks almost like the pictures I have been seeing on the net of certain UFOs.Go to the UFO part on his web site You will find it.This picture was taken At 2:30 A.M. in the morning sometime after this year’s 4Th of July.The shape is like that of a saucer with a light on top and more on the bottom.It is definitely not a plane or jet.Even if it was not, it sure makes you wonder.I think if people took more night pictures when planes where not around they would see things they probably wouldn’t see during the day.If you ask me…I believe UFOs can disappear or camouflage them selves in the sky,Because one day I was watching a jet fly over and it was the clearest day with no clouds.When I watched that jet fly right over at a high altitude I could swear it was like it went passed a mirror,because it was reflecting off of something larger then itself.I could see something pass over it and there was nothing there..no clouds nothing!So what the heck could that jet have been reflecting on…. the blue sky? NOT!I am not kidding, I saw this and to this day it has been a mystery to me.I don’t give out stories that are untrue I just watch the sky and notice weird things.Thats not all there are about ten people I know who have seen many weird things.The areas of Wood and Clark county have the highest sightings for UFOs in Wisconsin. reported by our local newspaper the Marshfield,WI News-Herald.
