Reputation on the Line

Monday January 1, 2007
There is a good way to put your reputation on the line-predict something. We have always had soothsayers, prophets, psychics, dreamers... call them what you will. And if you ever watch some of the psychic investigator shows on the telly, then you just have to believe that some of them do have a type of "sixth sense" about certain things, as many of the murder and missing person cases would go unsolved without them. It seems that all of the traditional detectives begin as skeptics, and then are believers by the end of the show. Now, a UFO researcher has come out with his own prediction. We will make contact with aliens by next year.

UFO Researcher Claims Contact in 4 Months will give you the inside scoop on Brazilian UFO researcher Jan Val Ellam. According to the article, Ellam is a best-selling author with 15 books written on Spirituality and its connection with UFOs. He claims that he has had continuing contact with aliens for some twenty years. He has kept records of these contacts, and he has been told that the aliens will make their move soon. Well, what I have to say about this is, "... the proof is in the pudding." I won't be holding my breath when we approach the 4 month deadline, which will be sometime in February of 2007. We will wait and see how solid Ellam's reputation will be at that time.

I don’t think much about these soothsayers and people who predict things, they are wrong about 90% of the time
