Update on O'Hare UFO

Wednesday January 3, 2007
The UFO incident which occurred at Chicago's O'Hare Airport in early November of 2006 has been the biggest UFO news item since the Mexican military video of 2004. The O'Hare case has been carried on CNN, and many other major news outlets. I have received literally hundred of emails concerning the incident, and wanted to keep you abreast of what is happening.

For one thing, it is now confirmed that at least one photograph was taken of the object. There may be more. Researchers, including yours truly, are trying to get the individual who took the photo to come forward. There are job considerations and privacy issues at stake, but there is still a chance we may yet see a photo of the UFO.

Secondly, a pilot who saw the UFO has come forward, and been interviewed by Peter Davenport of NUFORC on the Jeff Rense radio program. You can download the mp3 file from the Rense web site. The link is on the front page.

Peter Davenport, the UFO center's director, says the buzz over the O'Hare sighting is fully justified.

"In my opinion, because I know the quality of the witnesses, and because I know the nature of the documents that were generated, it is one of the most dramatic cases of the year 2006 that this center has handled."

This is exciting! When people who work in aviation report something, then it makes the sighting that much more believable. I believe in UFOs, now I am just waiting for the rest of the world to do so.

The audience for this email, will know what is referenced (likely not the author of this blog). ***Take note***, I will give the US Government 30 DAYS to come clean with what they know. After that point our group will go public with with all information known. Multiple administrations and Congressmen have much to loose regarding this release.

I heard about it from people who were at the airport that day! And my wife and I live 180 miles south of the incedent, and she claims she was outside getting fresh air 30 minutes after it happened in chicago and seen it zig-zagging across the sky in our hometown towards the northwest sky!Ive believe in them too, Ive seen some “Unexplainable’ lights and craft flying around twice now!

Excellent site you have here. I have included your RSS newsfeed on my blog.

If you’re interested you can read a story on my blog (it’s on the main page currently) of my family’s experience on the night of the major ice storm which hit Central Illinois (and the Midwest) on the night of November 30th, 2006.

I go into much greater detail in prior post, but you’d have to search my blog for those post.

Like everyone else I have my share of ideas on the subject of “UFOs”, and like many my most recent experience wouldn’t have been my first.

I’ve had some rather significant “sightings” that would be somewhat difficult to explain without referring to advanced technology.

Human, not is the question.

This was the first site that I’ve found that indicated a photograph had been taken – that’s way cool – although these days photographs are so easily hoaxed that such evidence is almost always questionable – whether genuine or not.

I’d venture to guess that UFOs are seen by the hundreds on a daily basis around the world – only a fraction of those are no doubt reported to the media – and if the observer isn’t laughed off the phone only a fraction more make it to broadcast.

No, aliens haven’t landed on the White House lawn and shook hands with the president yet – but if the O’hare incident is any indication that day may be coming sooner than we think. Unless, of course, you are like some in the UFO community who believe that day has already arrived and passed in secret government rendevous and deals with ET and company.

The Truth really is stranger than fiction…

This sighting seems to have the potential to be one that will be hard for the debunkers to explain. We have a good many apparently credible witnesses, and it is stated that a photograph of the object exists.

I would be very interested to see the photo, but if the individual who took it is a commercial pilot, air traffic controller or airport worker, that person may get pressure from his or her superiors to stay below the radar.

This will be one that will be very worthwhile following.

I live not even 10 miles from O’Hare International Airport, right off the same streets also, and I actually did not see anything funny, or anything weird in the sky. I’m not saying it didn’t happen, I’m just saying if it was so strange, big, and colorful, how come I didn’t see it and the whole night I was less than 10 miles away??? I don’t get how it didn’t make very loud noise too!!!

January 10, 2007 at 5:32 pm
(15) JeromeProphet says:

I’m not saying the event ever took place, but if it did from what I’ve read no one has mentioned lights, or that it was a huge object.

If it was a dull gray metalic object just below the cloud level near sunset on a heavy overcast day, with low hanging clouds – it wouldn’t necessarily have attracted much attention.

It didn’t entirely go unnoticed – about a dozen people are reported to have seen it.

Most people at airports are inside, or in aircraft. Most people are not walking around the runway looking straight up.

Someone messed up on the programming to keep this UPV above the cloud line, but it is an amazing feat that such a quiet engine could be developed (e.g., noise cancellation technology, sound baffling).

We should be proud of what Boing has accomplished – even if we won’t be hearing about for several decades.

Hmmm, JP and Tom Wagner, it seems you guys have a hard time believing in UFO’s by the content of your comments. Ya’ know 10 miles is a long way to see anything Tom, can you see all the planes on the ground at 10 miles Tom, can you see the Airport? I don’t think so and that was really a dumb statement you made here….and JP, if you read the articles on this and the witness statements they plainly say they didn’t see any lights, of course this was still daytime and maybe our visitor’s didn’t see the need in using their lights….hmmmm, that would be more logical, most people at airports boarding planes are inside yes, but the ones loading the planes with your baggage are outside, the mechanics work in open hanger’s and outside, there’s a ton of people that work outside the airports. Boeing didn’t develop this engine, if that’s even what powers this thing, and if you read much you’ll see that most UFO’s are dead silent, no sound whatsoever. JP and Tom you two guys should hang out together, that way you can convince each other that your really very smart and not complete Morons like you really are and maybe you are friends since your comments are posted one after the other, take heed…you not only sound stupid, you are stupid. I myself have never been so lucky to witness a UFO, I’ve seen some things in the night sky that would make me look twice, but never that defining moment I could say that I saw a UFO for sure. I do believe in UFO’s, there’s way too much evidence out here, too many people that have filed reports that are true to the bone…and a lot of these reports I would of loved to been there myself, such as the report from O’Hare Airport…when a dozen people say they saw a UFO I just don’t doubt it, I define that as the gospel truth! One day I hope to be at the right place, at the right time…but until then I’ll keep reading these great reports here and keep my eye on the sky!

(17) bob jones says:

I looked in the UFO some time ago met a few people that worked in blue book back in the 50s 60s. I never thought much about them but decided to read what was out there on the topic.

After shifting through the material and lots of nut cases etc. I found that there is definitely a signal in the noise. Meaning that there is enough anecdotal evidence plus real plus scoops from (mentally stable sources) to make me believe that we are being visited.

I would like to know who they are and why the heck the knee jerk reaction by our government when ever a case comes up. The lack or investigation (to rule out terrorists, or possible airline airspace security issues) makes one wonder that someone here already knows what they are.

The people who worked on military bases reporting for bluebook were told that they were real and were told the public could not handle that conclusion. This was from (older 70+ year olds) I know that actually worked at the bases and flew the jets.

I do think that someone/people know much more about this topic than they are letting on. I wish I knew what the big deal is. Why not just come clean on the entire thing. I know I would not freak out but maybe many would. Hard to say.

I have seen UFOs a many times in my life. I have seen them at about 300ft, if I had a camera at the time, there would be no doubt of their existence today. UFOs are real, and the government knows it. People get ready for the most fantastic ride of our existence. UFO disclosure has begun to unfold. From the History Channels Pro-UFO documentaries, to the Disclosure project. It is happening, first the discovery of possible water in the moons of Saturn, to water on mars, it is a matter of time till they drop the big one. That we are not alone in the universe and that we are currently being visited by extraterrestrials.

JeromeProphet, I think Charles Grubbs harsh comments stem from someone who is sick of people denying UFOs as being real.

I don’t think he needed to call you morons . He most probably is just sick of hearing statements that show disbelief.

From what I know I would put my money on them being real and not all secrete military. Where they come from I could only speculate. I think the O’hare workers saw exactly what they described.

I for a second do not believe the “Strange weather” as a realistic and well thought out answer. Give me an example of strange weather that looks like a saucer, moves like a saucer and punches a hole in the clouds like a cookie cutter in dough?

Why would so many witnesses be angered that they are not taken seriously? Why would they risk looking like a fool, risk job loss if what they saw was not a craft of some kind? They are not morons either but they were being treated that way.

I don’t think this case will die as quickly as the FAA would like. There is damage control going on for sure.

Its easy to make one person seem crazy, maybe even two. Its a little harder to make 20 pilots and mechanics look like they all were seeing crazy things.

Thats why they are pissed, they all had a good enough look at it to know that it was not a cloud. Put yourself in their shoes, what if you saw something as plain as a helicopter over you head and someone that did not see it says it was just a cloud that looked like a helicopter. You might be insulted or even real pissed off.

They what they have now, are a bunch of pissed off employees that are not going to agree with the BS response.

I really wish someone in the know would just spill what the hell they know about these things to poor Joe public. It could be “we don’t know any more than you” but I doubt it.

(21) Roger DiPaolo says:

I’ve had people tell me that I didn’t see what I saw with other witnesses in the Mojave desert in 1978. How would you feel if someone told you straight to your face that you did not see something you saw soberly and clearly – and they were not even present at the time? 3 craft of incredible size, obviously intelligently controlled, hovering and making maneuvers that proved they were not man-made technology, any human inside these crafts would have been killed from the incredible g-forces. I don’t have to “believe” in UFOs – seeing is Knowing. And just last year, I saw another from my own backyard!

It’s not the UFOs or their owners that worry me, they are obviously all around and have been for many, many years – and life goes on….

It’s our government that worries me. The denials, the lies, the intimidation, something VERY big and possibly nefarious is going on in secret and it obviously IS NOT a matter of national security. We must be in big trouble when our rights as American citizens are completely denied when it comes to what could be the most important issue in modern history. Is this still the United States? Does the Constitution and Bill of Rights still apply in reality? The information blockade must stop here and now. Full revelation is the only thing that will now restore citizens’ confidence in our government. Failure to do so will only result in the further erosion of public trust, to the point where I’m afraid to think of what might happen. Please people, demand the truth from your elected representatives before it is too late. No one but us can save our great democracy – that means me, and that means you.

Bob Jones,

I understand the concerns which you have stated about not being taken seriously, but I do not believe that personal attacks are needed.

I have witnessed some rather unusual phenomena myself, and I understand what it is like to hold onto your stories for years in fear of being disbelieved.

I also understand the criticism. I’ve been there.

Here’s a paraphrasing of a conversation which I had with a close relative over Christmas.

Me: So you read my blog post about the strange colored lights over Springfield, Illinois on the night of November 30th?

Relative: Yes, you know your blog is very nice, but you need to avoid that UFO subject.

Me: But this time I wasn’t alone in what I saw.

Relative: No really, your blog is easily one of the best I’ve ever read, but you destroy your credibility when you write about UFOs.

Me: You like my blog? Thanks! No listen, I understand you don’t want to remember what we saw when you were little, I’d block that out too, but this time I had my wife, and daughter with me.

Relative: Seriously, this stuff is crazy. You know your dad (talking about me to my daughter) is a very smart guy, but you can’t believe in this UFO stuff.

Me: (I turn to my daughter) Didn’t we see red, green, and blue lights flickering while thunder rumbled right over our house?

Daughter: Yes, mom saw it too.

Relative: No you didn’t. You see your dad has been talking about this stuff for years. He claims he saw a Disk hovering right over him when he was riding his bicycle when he was a kid, and then that orbs went around our house years later.

This is just all talk.

Daughter: (Who then gives me a look of despair – never having been told that something she saw simply couldn’t have happened before) No, you see I saw it too, and so did my mom. We really did see it.

Relative: No you didn’t. Anyway you have a really good blog, I think my wife has dinner ready so let’s all go into the dining room now.

END PARAPHRASING

No, I fully understand what it is like to have had experiences, and have people tell me that what I have experienced just didn’t happen.

Growing up with several such experiences demanded that I find some way (before the Internet) to deal with these totally out of the ordinary events. It was a struggle which took decades.

We each find neat little categories for everything in life. It’s how we manage our complex lives. This sock goes with that sock. This car is a red car, that one is blue. This is a normal experience, and this one is totally outside the range of what should be expected – given the laws of physics, and the state of human technology.

I could have utilized some hyper religious approach, or some UFO cult type approach, but instead I went with Science.

I want to believe in extra terrestrials, and I have spoken with some other folk who have seen things decades earlier than my sightings – which suggest that human technology could not have been behind them. So I want to believe.

Yet I fear that the desire to believe will muddle my need to be careful, and scientific.

I don’t want to be duped, because there is a part of me which feels that it was o coincidence that I have had more than one experience – I guess you could say I’m a bit concerned.

Am I special? Am I insane? Or am I part of some project? Am I unique, or part of a series?

Well, I don’t feel I’m out of touch with “reality”, and I don’t feel that I am particularly unique, so I have come to believe that like any lab mouse I’m part of some long term project.

Maybe not a project on a personal level, but on a social level.

So I had to ask myself, what am I predicted to do that others would similarly have been predicted to do after having seen such things?

Keep quite about them for many years, think deeply about them, and eventually start talking.

So here I am sharing.

But I’m not going to toss my dignity away, and start believing in some modern religion.

If the aliens want us to believe, then they better damned well start doing more than simply buzzing over little kids riding their bicycles, or zipping around peoples homes using some orbs.

We’re beyond that stage. It’s time for more, and I’m not talking about O’Hare. I mean we need significantly more.

We must remain scientific about this. If there are aliens haunting Earth somewhere it would take some high tech to get here, and that means is – Science.

We need to keep an open mind, and consider that CIA, NSA, etc. would love to convince the public that every UFO sighting are actually alien space probes, and not their organizations developing, and using cutting edge UPVs, and RPVs.

In conclusion I did not say that the folk at O’Hare airport didn’t see anything. I am however asking everyone not to rush to a decision as to what it is they saw.

We live in a society so disconnected from the truth that people live in fear of even openly discussing this subject.

In the age of the Internet that is over, so let’s talk without personal attacks, please, and consider all sides.

As a witness myself in 1969 (ironically the year Project Blue Book closed shop!) the subject is immensely interesting. I am a moderate though, highly skeptical of abtuctees, or Roswell folks — but after many decades of wondering (as I said I saw them first hand in the skies of San Juan) I am a believer. Since then I have become an astronomy instructor and science writer.

I have come to this outstanding conclussion — their cultural reality would devastate us, posing great risk to the world in terms of real mass hysteria, religiosity (both to vilify and deify), sociology, and even our psychosocial foundations!

15 minutes over O’Hare is all we could take! They were not there to sightsee, but, for lack of a better term, to ‘innoculate us’ (I don’t know if I spelled that right — ?). Any bonefide exposure is really a type of language (communication). What are they saying in the O’Hare incident? Well, this is my take on what they were thinking (written as ironic sarcasm):

“Nice airport, but do you realize we just trespassed on one of your world’s largest jetports? (and no one cared!) What is wrong with that? Well, for one thing it is tests mass denial –secondly, it is as close as our technologies will get (though a UFO over Cape Canaveral would be OK). Pilots and ground crews are credible, but this process must be a slow one (someone on the ground was upset because the sighting made her doubt in her traditional beliefs): caught between a rock and a hard place –we must go! fifteen minutes are up! Punch a hole in the clouds and we’re off!!! They (us) must believe and doubt at the same time.

As a fellow researcher, I say to all of you who have taken time to read the publications, listen to the testimonials, research the website data. Those of us who have watched the videos and remained open minded to the possibility of other forms of life in our universe. Whether it be extra-terrestrial, extra-dimensional or simply our fellow humans, there are stories of a race of humans living deep within the Earth. (Admiral Byrd’s “Hollow Earth”) and other sources. I have to say congratulations to the researchers.

The evidence is overwhelming; this planet is and has been visited by entities from other worlds or dimensions for 1000’s maybe millions of years. Those having a belief in the Supreme God or Creator of humanity realize there are” beings” not of this dimension watching and studying us, waiting for their next instructions.

Fact is, from cradle to grave we are in a constant state of educating ourselves. Who can say they know it all? Do we know all there is to know about life and the universe around us? How can we say we fully understand all the physical and dimensional laws? Are we not at bit limited in knowledge outside of our own incomplete findings? What do we know about zero point energy or other propulsion systems? There is good evidence that our skies are being visited by intelligent controlled crafts possibly using this and other technologies. Why do so many make light of what should be an intense and serious field of organized research, worthy of notice by mainstream scientific communities and new media? When it comes to UFO sightings is there one major network journalist, NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN, MSNBC, FOX , New York Times, Washington Post and others with the courage to report on what is happening in the skies over America (indeed the world) without making a total mockery of it all. Thank goodness for the SCI-FI Channel and History Channel and the best “Google.com”

I’ve had my experience with unidentified objects in the sky, but it was not the sight of the unidentified objects that captured my attention. It was the logical testimonies from very creditable witnesses with nothing to gain and everything to lose. The Chicago UFO is of course a mystery however there good evidence worthy of a serious investigation. Is an investigation being done? Was there a full and complete investigation done?
Not everyone who spots a UFO is creditable as we all know. Not all UFO’s are genuine, some are!

I had the opportunity to speak to one of the countries foremost authorities on the subject of UFO’s. Stanton T. Friedman, who by the way received his BSc and MSc degrees in physics from the University of Chicago in 1955 and 1956. He was employed for 14 years as a nuclear physicist for GE, GM, Westinghouse, TRW Systems, Aerojet General Nucleonics, and McDonnell Douglas on classified projects such as nuclear aircraft, fission and fusion rockets, and nuclear power plants for space. He has spent the past 30 years researching the UFO phenomena. It’s researchers like Mr. Friedman that take this issue of UFO’s into the realm of real science.

I’m not even going to attempt to offer an opinion as to what was seen at O’Hare Airport back in Nov. of 2006,,,, I wasn’t there,,, I didn’t see it. However I have studied and researched the subject and spent many hours looking at other evidence and talking to people just like all of you. For those of us who know the truth, let us continue being heard. Steven Bassett the Executive Director of Paradigm Research Group says “let’s engage this issue so it will lead to a full Disclosure, let’s engage this politically, economically, socially and spiritually,, lets have a good time” We are not alone in the universe!
