Second O'Hare Airport Photo Surfaces

Friday January 26, 2007
UFO Now there is a second photograph in the public domain that was allegedly taken during the O'Hare Airport UFO Sighting on November 7, 2006. I have posted a cropped image here. The first photograph is being called by a hoax by some, yet many are still claiming that it might be the real thing.

The second photograph is much better quality, but then again, we know very little about it. We do not know who took the picture, which may or may not mean anything at this point. If the picture was hoaxed, then the photographer would not want to be identified. But, if the photo was legitimate, with the restrictions placed by United Airlines on reporting the incident, the photographer would also want to remain incognito. I'm providing the link for you to see the full size photograph.

This picture is a fake. The original picture can be easily found (without any UFO) on the Internet.

For more information about O’hare picture analysis, please have a look there : http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread264473/pg1

People on this forum are performing investigations.

Anyway, the event is really considered as serious, and we are all waiting for some “real” materials.

As described by Jon Hilkevitch the craft disappeared upwards through clouds, creating a gap exposing the sky. This particular cloud cover is all wrong.

(3) UFO chaser says:

This image is fascinating. I zoomed in on it and can see that it is NOT a plane! Other than some out of place looking pixels, which really means nothing at the current resolution, the pic looks and just seems real to me.
As far as eyewhitnesses not seeing any lights on it, who is to say the lights did not go out at some point. Is it possible that the object changed shape, as many eyewhitnesses have reported in the past. Of all the pics that purport to be the Ohare UFO this one seems to be the best, in my humble opinion.

(4) nfsmusic.blogspot.com says:

This second picture is different than how the witnesses have described it, as being just below the clouds with no lights. In this picture, the UFO is halfway between the clouds and the ground. I read that the UFO might be a still of a China UFO video from August 2006.

Personally, I think the second picture might be a fake/hoax.

(5) Honest John says:

I would say this object is over a cargo area, and not a gate.
The lights might be picked up by the camera, and not the eye?

(6) miqie says:

In this day of compact video cameras and digital cameras why are there no good pictures of this sighting? The UFO was apparently over the airport for 20 minutes!

(7) Justus says:

The photograph shows the image of another large plane landing. Note the vapor trail behind the plane and also note the strobes on the wingtips and light in the cockpit.

(8) cmdrpiffle says:

2nd pix is real. It’s in fact a B747-400 in full landing configuration, full flaps, lights, nose high. Prolly over the inner marker.
Wake up folks

(9) two5right says:

It looks like a 747 in full landing configuration as others have noticed.

I just posted these two pics I took of the object, at ATS and will post it here as well. You can believe them or not but I am washing my hands of them and never want to see another UFO again! I do not need the hassle.

This continues to be an interesting case and seems worthy of continued research.

I was there and took these photos with my cellphone. The object moved, as you can tell but very slowly. I tried posting this here earlier but failed for some reason. This is my last attempt. I am washing my hands of these pictures and never want to see another UFO again! I do NOT need the hassle. The quality is poor I am sorry but it is the real deal. I do NOT want any publicity about this. I just want the photos analyzed to see what the hell it could be.

(13) Redoubt says:

Everytime there is an image like this… and especially one that goes with an event, the UFO ‘experts’ come out of the woodwork to proclaim the image either real or a fake. Thier expertise self-ascribed, your risk is the same as if you simply made up your own mind.

The ‘abovetopsecret’ folks are using the same tools available to everyone else. If you are truly interested, do more than trust the lunatics to run the asylum… which is exactly the reason the UFO phenomenon is so roundly ridiculed to begin with.

You can get an alternative, rational and openminded debate over at http://www.OpenMinds.co.nr – check out the UFO section – there are loads of threads about O’Hare there, plus pictures, video (news leak)and articles. One stop O’Hare shop! lol!

(15) croppie says:

This is a HOAX… no Gate C-17 in sight.
All of the eye witnesses said that the object was directly over the gate, then it shot straight up throught the clouds, not over the airport laterally.

January 28, 2007 at 11:21 pm
(16) Rational says:

Peter Davenport has already announced that these recent pictures are not what the eyewitnesses saw.

Why are people not asking the eyewitnesses instead of publishing “ANONYMOUS” photos? There’s no need for it and it is discrediting the story, something the FAA wants since it screwed up so bad on this one.

(17) John says:

Isnt it just amaizing the photos you can make with the new digital cameras. HOAX.

January 29, 2007 at 2:02 am
(18) John H. says:

This photo is a fake of a UFO. Note the hazy weather conditions clouding the clear view of the buildings in the background. It appears that this is none other than an approuch of a jet aircraft of which is leaving a slight exhaust trail.

(19) Chicago Astronomer joe says:

That 2nd UFO pic is not at O’Hare, nor is it of a UFO. Quite evident that it is an aircraft on landing approach.

But, I still think that something occurred at O’Hare in November of 2006. Still waiting for the bone fide images to seep out.

It looks like a plane that just left the runway. You can see the trail of exhaust it leaves behind.

(21) Diane says:

I was talking with a Friend on phone while looking into the night sky, watching a jet heading to wards, I’d say Minneapolis, when all of a sudden this regular non-moving star, just started moving down from way up in space and passed right over the jet very close, that I was watching.I was stunned! A few minutes later the light stopped in a cloud to a stand still.I could still see a light from this thing that went over that jet..it then started to move and then just disappeared. The star light was heading a totally different way also.Out of all the UFOs or strange lights, I ever seen, this was the most strangest and gave me the shivers. From what I have read or seen..I can’t believe that all of the reports are just for nothing or weather related..Something is out there and it’s real and not our imaginations. There are thousands of reports and sightings, so no-way can all of these be fake or even that of military doings.I will bet if everyone took a picture of the sky alone, someone would report something odd in those pictures taken..I myself will be expeirementing with this soon.Just to see if anythings does occure or come up odd.Stay tuned for the results.

(23) getreal says:

In addition to the object in the sky in this photo looking like a plane, with wings, lights and contrails, isn’t that an ATA plane on the runway? I could be wrong, but it looks like it. ATA flies out of Midway Airport in Chicago, not O’Hare. Let’s see if some real photos appear from Nov. 7. Something strange was in the sky that day. We may never know what it was.

The folks who actually witnessed the ral event, already said that there were no lights. It was grey/metallic. No lights. Any of these with lights are automatic hoaxes.
