Aykroyd in Possession of "REAL" O'Hare Footage

By his own admission, actor and UFO enthusiast Dan Aykroyd is in possession of "real" movie footage of the O'Hare Airport UFO of November 7, 2006. The news came to me first this morning from Jerome Prophet's blog, which was referred from UFO News This is how it happened.

According to the former Saturday Night Live star, Dan Aykroyd and his group of filmmakers have come into possession of exclusive O'Hare Airport UFO photographs and video footage.

During a recent promotion for his line of Tequila beverages, I had a chance to speak briefly with Aykroyd about the topic of UFOs.

"Will you be releasing any more UFO documentaries?"

"We should have another DVD out by next year," Aykroyd replied. "You know there was a major sighting in Chicago recently," he said in referring to the O'Hare Airport UFO.

Acknowledging the event, I asked if there would be any exclusive O'Hare UFO content in the film. To my surprise, he said not only will they be exposing new photographs of the O'Hare Airport UFO, but exclusive video footage. Dan appeared excited about the new film and the O'Hare story, "it will have photographs, video, and the whole works."

I stronly suggest screening out any UFO news from India Daily. If you go back and look at their reporting on these matters you will see a pattern of fabrication.

I saw it here first, who broke the news if not them?

I don’t believe Billy Booth was claiming that I broke the story. He was citing references to where he first read of the story.

Often times tracking down a story takes days, perhaps weeks, but if you go to my post you’ll note that I in turn refer to yet another site, which in turn refers to another site.

This is the age of the Internet, so we all need to take things with a grain of salt.

For what it’s worth I went to Dan Aykroyd’s website, and submitted an email asking him if it were true that he purchased photographs, and a video alleged to be of the O’Hare UFO.

I offer him the opportunity to respond to an ordinary blogger like myself – who ony seeks the truth.

I await his response.

In my post on this story I admited that I didn’t know what to think of the story, but I added that it sounds like something Dan Aykroyd would do.

He’s a fascinating, and talented man who would be crafty enough to swoop down, and pull off something like this.

Let’s say he buys a hoax, and then puts it on his DVD, if he runs with it, and the UAL employees say they never saw anything like what he’s put on his DVD then his reputation is ruined.

So I suspect Dan Aykroyd will be very cautious, and would have used lawyers, who would have in turn used private detectives, to confirm the legitimacy of the sources.

He’d probably obtain confirmation from more than one UAL witness, having them view the photos, and the video of the O’Hare UFO.

This is all conjecture on my part, but it sounds reasonable.

Only time will tell.

I recommend circumspection when someone starts ramping up to things like “exclusive video footage” of reported UFO events. Many times this kind of lead-in is intended to pre-sell the product and increase the financial realization from it. Recall the much-hyped Ray Santilli “Alien Autopsy” film that came out several years ago – as far as I am concerned it is a hoax that Santilli is still expertly working for all the money he can get from it.

I do want very much to see Mr. Aykroyd’s presentation and make my own evaluation of it. I would love for the alleged video to be the smoking gun in this incident. However, I will reserve my opinion until I have been able to see it myself.

Many thanks for the comment and clarification about the India Daily reports– I recall the series of articles from two years or so back– very interesting, and apparently too good to be true? Have since wondered if there had been any follow-ups of that activity….
