Throughout the years, there has always been speculation and rumor about alien bases on the Moon. We have all seen photographs that allegedly depict Moon structures that could not be of a natural origin. But, as you may know, these structures require a certain amount of imagination to be seen. I have not seen anything yet that I feel would pass as an alien base, but then again, I have not seen everything, and almost everything we see is from the near side.
There are a number of individuals who claim to have first hand evidence proving that there are bases on the far side of the Moon. I have recently finished a four-part article, UFOs on the Moon , which will dispel some of the rumors surrounding this mystery, and get to the facts. Although I do list some of the rumors, you will see irrefutable evidence from reliable witnesses that answer the question, Are there alien bases on the Moon?

Now that we’ve heard about Meta Materials it seems only a matter of time until human beings are capable of developing a means of cloaking objects in not only microwave (which has already been demonstrated) but also in the visual portion of the EM spectrum.
What does this mean?
Any non terran originated life form (carbon based or not) would have to be technologically advanced in order to travel interstellar distances successfully.
Such an advanced society would probably have had the time to develop Meta Materials to a high degree.
Thus if such creatures were present in Earth’s solars system then it is highly probable that we might find if rather difficult to locate an alien craft, or base unless we develop sophisticated sensors, or whatever is hiding chooses to be found.
Implications for an alien moon base?
Not entirely sure, but I suspect that the far side of the moon would be a wise choice for the location of any significant basing.
It would probably need to be underground do to micro-meteors, and radiation.
Which would leave smaller portals open to possible detection. Those portals would possibly be shielded by meta materials to prevent visual, and radar detection.
But what if we were dealing with robots?
Even if the robots were sentient, it still might be difficult for them to assess the immediacy of the threat of being detected due to the fledgling human space program. Which may have led to a delay in addressing implementation of an effective visual shield.
Also there’s a more likely scenario which would be that they want to be seen.
But only a bit.
Something that can be covered up from the masses – to avoid panic, but at the same time something which would force the uppermost levels of our governments to grapple with the certainty of ET existence, and then to prepare society without it knowing of the eventuality of an official unveiling.
All speculation on my part.

There is no proof yet that there happend someting strange there.
There was a book many years ago (now out of print) called “Somebody Else is On the Moon” which purported to show photographic evidence of structures, mining operations etc. on the lunar surface. I never could see the artifacts that the writer stated were in the photos, and I suspect that this was a case of someone seeing what they wanted to see in the rather grainy, low-res photos that were available at the time.
That having been said, I wouldn’t deny the possibility that an alien race may be exploiting the moon’s resources. I don’t know that any recent photographs of the lunar surface show anything that could be construed as evidence of this, but as has been pointed out, certainly a race capable of traveling interstellar distances would be capable of conducting such operations while remaining completely undetected by humans.
