Major Sighting in Wrexham in U. K.

Monday August 6, 2007
Wrexham UFO It was just after midnight in Wrexham, U. K., when a man was relaxing on his deck and saw an incredible sight-seven red lights moving silently and quickly in the sky above him. Leigh Williams had been smoking a cigarette when he first saw the UFOs, and ran back in the house, and summoned his wife.

She was too tired to get up from bed, but was able to see the unknown objects through a window. She was stunned. Two of the objects were making circles around each other, and the entire group of seven was zooming along at a great speed.

Williams was able to grab his camera in time to capture the event on video. A frame capture is included here, and you can see the film at the Evening Leader, which also has the entire details of the mesmerizing account. This is only one of several recent sighting reports from the United Kingdom, with at least three of them captured on video.

Per several of the comments for the story in the Evening Leader, it appears that several Chinese lanterns were released in the area around the time of the sightings.

It does not sound like the Chinese Lanterns could account for this description, nor does the picture look like a Chinese Lantern…at least, not to me.

Wow, Chinese Lanterns! That’s new. The local debunkers shop must have been fresh out of swamp gas, flares, and weather balloons.

Hmmm, Chinese Lanterns? I can’t believe these were Chinese Lanterns, not in my wildest dreams would I come up with that. Besides, they would have to be some Chinese Lanterns the size of Airplanes, and I don’t think they have those out just yet. That’s about the dumbest thing I have ever heard. I have learned one thing, Debunker’s will say anything to cast doubt on a UFO report.

To clarify, I don’t think the ufos were Chinese Lanterns either. In my post above, I should have added that the guy who filmed the ufos wrote a comment re: the news item in the Evening Leader. He wrote, basically, that he filmed w/the equipment he had at that moment, that he did not believe in ufos but had never seen anything like those objects he filmed.

The video is pretty crappy too, could be anything. Sorta found the story headline misleading. Whatever.

Ohh come on!!!, I’m not that strong a believer against UFO’s, but you can clearly see it is a lantern!!!

You can see the light inside the lantern flickering clearly!!

Wrexham, is exactly below the flight path for planes landing at Manchester Airport from Europe. Perhaps it could have been a plane?
Just a suggestion =P

There are so many better pictures and stories in the news I can’t image why this one gets any attention at all. There was a better story this same week where more than a hundred people watched 5 lights in the sky and a good pic was taken. It wouldn’t surpise me that government officals put these very poor stories in the news so they can later discredit them. Take a good look at this picture and tell me if you can get exicted by it or think it’s a UFO. It must be one of the worse UFO pics I’ve seen in a while, yet the story get’s more attention then most. It’s a joke or manipulation I think.

Speaking of videos, would appreciate any credible analysis and feedback on three video clips being shown on UTube featuring low altitude overhead passes of various craft in broad daylight, taken in Haiti, Dominican Republic, and Paris, France — clips show craft that are extremely clear and detailed. The DR clip shows a string of different craft passing overhead, including one matching the Haiti clip. If these videos are fakes, someone went to a great deal of trouble to produce first class imagery– note in the Paris clip,(in slo-mo/ stop-action) that one craft’s extension arms can be seen through openings as it passes behind individual railing sections on top of the building across the street. Check also matching brightness, matching shake of trees, etc., with the UFO, matching contrast, shading, etc.– not easily accomplished without extremely sophisticated software, a lot of technical know-how and lots of time, or a well executed set with miniatures! Comment please.
