UFO Photographed over Lyons, France

Monday October 29, 2007
Lyons, FranceOn October 6, 2007, a UFO was photographed over Lyon in France. I was told about the sighting and received the photograph from a contact who resides in that country, Christian Mace. The sighting and photograph were sent by one Jacky Creneau, and is of the upmost importance. Seven photographs were taken in all, and they are all nice and clear shots of a discoid-shaped object that appeared at 18:35 hours. The object was also seen by his friend, Viviane, who actually took the photos.

Using the burst mode, Viviane actually shot the object twice. It was moving from the west to the east, and very quickly was out of sight. The photographs have been examined and show no hint of a hoax, although this cannot identify the object in question. In a case like this, normally the first thing that comes to mind is a balloon, but in this case, the great speed of the object precludes this conclusion, assuming the witness' testimony is accurate. A very interesting photograph, and sure to be an entry in this year's "best" lists.

One question I have about the photograph is this, are we looking at the object from the side, a side view, or are we looking at the object from the top or bottom of the UFO? Just guessing I would say a side view but it could be the other way too, hey Billy do you know or have any idea, it would be helpful, thanks in advance!

I agree with Dwyane. This is either a rugby ball or a football. You can see the freakin’ hand grip! Come on Billy…

clearly not a rugby ball. went to google images and looked at several hundered images of rugby and footballs. The shape of this object is not correct to be a rugby ball. I think it’s an interesting photo. Raely do we get any context in these photos so it’s hard to say anything about the object.

I went to google and clicked on the middle photo and got a photo of a “UFO” taken over Scotland in 1947. It doesn’t look this one at all (but it’s a spectacular photo).

So, it’s not a rugby ball, and it isn’t shaped like an American football. So, what is it, … well, I guess that’s the definition of a UFO, isn’t it?

I think the U.F.O. has the shape of a football and it appears to have a aura around it. I would have loved to see it. Au revoir Yvonne

I have a habit of copying the pictures into the MS Prof Word and then clicking on the left area of the margin of the page close to the edge and when the cursar points to the right, click to reverse the image, to look at the negative image. This one is perticularly interesting, don’t know why, but it is. I could not see an aura or energy field, but the color differences of the object was interesting.

How could you look at that and believe it to be anything other than a football? It’s shaped just like a football. It has threads like a football. The photo is of exceptionally poor quality, but still, you can almost read Wilson on the side of it. I mean, come on.

It seems to me that even a football tossed into the air would have some disturbance around it. Also, every football I have seen has sharper more slender points at the ends. Maybe you should test the theory and throw one up and take a picture and send it to Billy. Maybe a Rugby ball is different at the ends I don’t know. It does not appear to have energy fields around it though making it slightly suspicious since most do..
