Extraterrestrials on Ice

Wednesday November 28, 2007
Writer Ed Komarek, who is a researcher and journalist on UFOs, Extraterrestrials and Exopolitics issues, has recently released an superbly interesting account, Extraterrestrials on Ice. This is one of those great folklore stories that cannot be documented, but all the same, is riveting, and all of you should read it.

A good friend of Ed's, Larry Requa, related the story to him and several family members. Larry's experience occurred when he was a member of the RCMP (Royal Canadian Mounted Police). As a constable, he was assigned the task of trying to find a missing prospector. He was flown to a lake, dropped off, and began to follow the prospector's tracks.

He was not able to locate the prospector, but did stumble upon a small cave: Its entry way was fortified by a pile of rocks. He made his way into the cave, shining his flashlight into its darkness. Upon entering, he was surprised to see that the inside had been cut away to fashion a 12 by 12 feet chamber. On the back wall, there had been a bench cut. On this bench, Larry saw something that literally took his breath away-five small mummified bodies fitted with metallic cloth. These beings were about 3 to 3 1/2 foot long.

Read the rest of the account, and give us your comments on this excellent story.

Well, if you’re going to ridicule the notiont of being “obducted” by an “alian”, Sam, how’s about spelling it correctly? Think you could manage that?

Billy I need to read the story, but my first thought is to ask whether there are any photos. Also, I’ve just spent some time on the Casebook website, clicking around-it’s fascinating.

That would be “notion” not “notiont” Preview would be my friend it were available. See how easy it would be to make a correction, Sam, and demonstrate your spelling competence?

Very interesting story. With all the inaccessable back country there, who knows? As the author says, maybe someday the truth will be known. It’s really too bad that Larry didn’t at least bring back some physical evidence.

I always have great reservations about twice-told tales involving alleged spectacular finds in unspecified areas. It doesn’t matter whether the claim involves Bigfoot, alien artifacts or the Lost Dutchman Mine - if the alleged discoverer can’t or won’t provide some way to verify his/her claim, I tend to be very reserved about it.

I definitely have an eyebrow raised over this account, although I would love it if someone were able to locate the purported cave and bring out the alien bodies.

This is a great story and that is why it has stood the test of time. I read about this in the now defunct “TRUE” magazine. (it must have been in the forties) TRUE featured very exciting and thought provoking stories. Unfortunately, many of the “TRUE” tales weren’t exactly true, and that’s one reason why the magazine isn’t around any longer. Anyway, it does not alter the fact that this story is a real zinger. They don’t make them like this anymore.

Things that make you go -hmmmmmm…
I’m not sure what to make of this story. If its true and he left the cave as it was then kudos to him. If that had been me - I would have taken something out with me. I could see sealing it back up - but God knows I would have taken something. I would not have attempted to make any kind of official report - but my immediate family would have been told. I wonder…….

I would love to see a picture of the aliens, I am not far from Canada and I do have a passport, I would drive there if I could see what they found. Au revoir Yvonne
