Alien Tracks in British Columbia, Canada
Here is a strange, yet interesting case that was recently released through the MUFON open sightings page. The account is complete with a photograph, which purportedly shows tracks of an unknown being. This occurred during a UFO sighting witnessed by a group of individuals in British Columbia, Canada in December, 2007.
A woman was talking to her husband online around 10:00 PM, when she received an urgent phone call from her mother.
"Get up here! It is huge!" she shouted.
The woman's mother had gone outside to take care of her dog when she saw a large, bright object in the sky. She called her husband, who also saw the object. The object soon began to rise up. By this time, the woman and her family had arrived at her mother's house. They all watched it for a good half-hour. The night was very foggy, and the UFO eventually became a roundish glow, barely visible through the fog.
The object seemed to be above a nearby water tower, and the woman's two daughters, son, and a boyfriend of one of the daughters, headed toward the tower. On the way, they discovered strange footprints, and took video of them. At this time, there are only frame grabs available.
They could see several lights flickering in the distance, got scared, and started back to the house. See my full account of the Alien Tracks in British Columbia, Canada.

Well, I did some searching and there aren’t too many three toed animals around anymore. Some dinosaurs used to have 3 toes but I think we could rule that out. Currently about all I could find was the Sloth but they live in Brazil. Also, from what I could see, the toes of the Sloth look more like long nails rather than a skin and bone kind of thing. They don’t really give a size relation for the prints in the picture either so that doesn’t help. Still I’m not sure what that could be really. Any other ideas?
it’s those damned reptiles again
would like to know how big those tracks were.
Why are they perfectly single-file? Would like to see more of the image.
Kevin is correct, not many three toed critters around anymore. however, these tracks look remarkably like those of the giant Emu, right down to the fact that the Emu also tracks one foot in front of the other just like those shown. It is of course a little out of the usual neighborhood for a wild Emu.
Unless it’s at a zoo of course.
Looking at the photo, it appears there is a human shoe print in the top right corner. Assuming the print is from a ladies size 6 shoe, that would make the tracks about 9″ long and about a foot apart.
Did a search for an Emu foot print. The Emu has the middle toe longer than the two outer ones. Therefore not an Emu print.
My friend is a blue fish from Mars. ^^;
hello my name is obsoge an i am from galactica x thankyou for beleiving me x i will come an eat you soon x love you chipp x
i totally believe u an i hav encouted aliens but be careful they have guns!
really will have to remember that.^^
Well I have a snoogedah ray gun and a farce field so I am protected.
If there are aliens where doomed or not
as a species we will survive but many will die
Sounds similar to the Flatwoods monster which visited West Virginia in the early Fifties. Terry.
I Do Have A Gun Actully A Radar, When It Zaps You It Will Turn Uu Into Cheese Then I Eat You x Once Again Thankyou For Beleiving Me x
Love You Chipp x
i was running to catch the bus one day when i spotted a large dark figure out the corner of my eye it looked nothing like i have ever seen before but i did catch my bus.
Very interesting. Physical trace evidence cases are, to me, much more tantalizing than a report of a non-specific light in the sky.
I’m curious about the context of these tracks. The first question I have is why the background is red if we are looking at snow? I concede that the reddish color could be the result of low light conditions, but I still question that.
How deep and/or firm is the snow these alleged tracks are impressed in? Are there any other similar tracks nearby? Are there any native animals in the area that could possibly have made the tracks? Most importantly, what information do we have that would clearly place these tracks in British Columbia?
As Griznarf has pointed out, the emu, as do most three-toed birds, has a longer middle toe. The toes on these tracks appear to be same length if one measures them from the pad of the print. Plus, prints from walking birds like pigeons or chickens typically display some turning in toward the centerline of the print track - the classic “pigeon toe”. These are completely straight, one directly in front of another. A creature which walks in this fashion would have a different lower body geometry than any creature with which I am familiar.
I can’t see any evidence of rearward displacement of snow in the tracks, particularly in the toe area. This would be expected to occur as a result of a flexing foot pushing a mass forward against a grainy medium. Lack of it would tend to make me think that these prints were simply stamped into the snow using a rigid mold. However, I hasten to add that since most reported aliens are very small and slight, it is possible that their body mass would not be sufficient to cause any immediately noticeable displacement of the snow.
Overall, while these prints are interesting, they are far from convincing. A closer examination of the prints is definitely in order, assuming that we can obtain access to a better picture. And we need to see something that places these prints on snow-covered ground in British Columbia.
Looks like sand but then again who knows?
Sam B, I read your reply and you’ve brought up a lot of questions that I myself have wondered. How deep are the tracks, how long are they, distance apart, etc. My first thought when I saw the picture was that of a bat imprint. the bat bouncing off the ground, but then there should be scuff marks where it tried to take off again.
With regards to the reddish picture. The time was around 10 pm BC time, so it would have been very dark. The person that took the pic probably used a flashlight, therefore causing a low light and underexposed pic, hence the red.
I did reply to Billy and he said that he was only sent a couple of pics and that the video of the footprints is being analyzed. Once the video is released, hopefully we will see more.
Sam B…you speak with some authority, what is your background? Terry
a aninaml biologist or a well seasoned tracker prehaps?
Griznarf - good point about the underexposure. That definitely would cause the reddish color.
Terrence/Chance - Thanks for the comments. I’m basically a self-taught investigator. I’m a licensed pilot and a former air traffic controller as well as a science nut and sometime amateur astromoner.
Listening to more experienced investigators and studying videos of analyses taught me a lot about examining UFO reports. Believe it or not, stuff on Bigfoot and chupacabra research has been invaluable when analyzing an alleged alien encounter or physical trace case. Plus I have spent a lot of time in the woods observing and tracking just for the enjoyment of it.
So I kind of accumulated bits and pieces here and there that have come in handy.
Wel lkeep up the good work and if you see big foot besre to get his prints for us to prove that bigfoot is real.
Sam-B….thanks for the reply. It is good to know that there are some out there who take this subject seriously unlike some of the earlier commenters on this post.
This subject is so open to ridicule by the average numbskull and professional skeptic that any investigator worth his/her salt has to be very analytical in their investigations. I wish you well. Terry
it’s a good story . but i think that they could have made those foot prints up.
wow! thats cool. Footprints!. i wish they were real and most of all has a good heart.
scientist stop you’re unstable mind never try to experiment something to those aliens so that they will not conquer us. ahe.
Hi, I came across this discussion and thought maybe I could clear some of the ?’s up. I never had any intentions of posting the video, but really it is the only way to explain the picture. If it is posted, I apologize ahead of time for any offensive language you hear as I do not know how to remove it from the clip.
