UFO Sighting Reports
California-02-13-08-I've been noticing a lot of strange lights in Sacramento's skies lately. I've always watched the skies at night and never have I seen the activity I've seen this past week. This particular night I had already seen a light similar to the one I'm about to describe. They seem like plane lights, but there are no blinking lights, in fact, it is like one big bright light, and it doesn't fly the same or make any sound like a plane would.
My boyfriend and I were on a drive and we got off I-50 on Sunrise going north. As we turned, I looked up and saw one of the bright lights I've been seeing... so I decided to just watch it and see what it would do. It was flying towards us with some speed, not as much as an airplane might, then it got over a big building. I think it was a hotel, but I'm not positive, as soon as it got over the building, it stopped. It was so abrupt, at first I wondered if I was actually sure which direction it was moving in except that I realized it wasn't moving the opposite direction either.
It was just hovering. After about a minute and a half of hovering, it disappeared. I have to say, this object wasn't far from where I was viewing it. We were on an overpass, and the hotel was to the right of us on the other side of the overpass. source: www.mufon.com
California-02-15-08-I was in Porterville, California on 02-15-08, at about 6:30 PM. We were waiting for the UPS truck to come with a part for a washing machine.
The dog started barking and I said, "That might be the UPS truck."
I walked outside and down the driveway a bit. Over in the south closer to the horizon was a bright red round object. It was bigger than a star, red as a stoplight, but not quite as bright. It was turning eastward when something red fell off of it and came straight down.
Then another smaller object fell off the other one and fell straight down too. I am sure it was not a comet, meteor, or plane. The smaller piece falling looked almost like you would see fire dropping down. I have no idea what is was and no idea if I should tell anyone.
When it happened I thought about a rocket, but didn't see anything go up-it was just there and moving about the speed of an airplane. It didn't upset me or anything like that. But it was so strange I got to wondering what it might have been. Submitted by Carol to http://ufos.about.com
California-02-16-08-We were on our balcony at 11:20 PM looking west when I noticed a triangular formation of approximately seven white/amber ovoid lights moving from the southwest to the northwest at about 75 degrees up from the western horizon.
The formation moved slowly, yet made quick rearrangement into a "T" shaped formation, then about ten seconds later changed into a horizontal line... all while continuing to move to the north.
The entire sighting lasted about 45 seconds, which was the time it took to cross the sky. The objects faded as they continued north. We heard no sound during or after the sighting, aside from a much closer prop driven airplane.
The objects were noticed because we were looking at the sky and saw movement. We weren't sure what the object was when we saw it. We attempted to photograph the objects on a camera phone: however the objects were not visible in the picture. source: www.mufon.com
Indiana-02-16-08-We were driving home from Merrillville on US route 2 when right outside of Valparaiso we saw many bright, strange lights in the distance. My son and boyfriend were present at the time. The objects looked like they were hovering off in the distance, some not moving, some seemed to be connected to one another then split off.
We watched one moving that stopped in midair then did a U-turn of sorts. At first we thought it was about 15 planes flying low in a pattern, but as one got closer it was noticeable that it was no plane. It was huge and made no sound, very low and very weird bright lights.
As we were driving, I rolled my window all the way down and stuck my head and body out the window to watch it fly over the car. The Moon was behind it and emitted enough light that I got a very clear picture of its shape. It was no plane-it was triangular and had 3 very bright lights at the points. The weird thing was the underneath. There were many lights with one red light in the middle. My son watched it go over from the back window.
I was scared and I told my boyfriend to rush home to our other children. We were all scared to even turn on the radio. I was worried about what we'd hear on the news. I am not joking. Also as it flew off in the distance it kept changing its light patterns until they looked more like that of a plane? Then it disappeared. source: www.mufon.com
Mississippi-02-14-08-In the city of Brooklyn at about 8:00 PM, I witnessed a small, green light in the sky. The green light came to a complete stop in the sky, and then appeared to descend into a wooded area. The sky was fairly clear, and I saw no other aircraft in the area. Also, there were no other effects, electromagnetic, etc. I was the only witness to the green light. I had no camera with me at the time. source: www.mufon.com

lots of formations and triangles this week. red lights though are something different.
This is off-topic, but here’s an interesting link that demonstrates that video images can be distorted to look like UFOs. Maybe similar things can happen with photographs.
BLURFOs Are Not UFOs

BLURFOs could explain why people don’t see UFOs in their pics until they put them on their screen. Common objects might be be distorted enough to look completely unnatural.
HEY ZIGGY- HOW DO YOU LIKE THIS UFO STORY: TINY BLUE PLANET CALLED EARTH AMONGST A TRILLION STARS IN THE SKY WHERE TIME HAS NO MEANING AT ALL- it should be readily apparent to the trained eye or even a scientist to draw a conclusion based upon our own lives now and recorded in history the following conclusion- Evolution is true- it probably has done so many billion of years ago-we are not the first to play with dna- but in fact have been told we are made in the image of an entity that has done so before our time- and our purpose on earth is to enjoy this life as much as possible with full respect to every other human being-and if it is within our power and means- to help those less fortunate than us so that they may enjoy their time on this planet- these are the common messages by all spiritually endowed throughout the ages- to ignore it would admit ignorance and an inability to have faith in our fellow man- and here it is- the greatest test of all-FAITH- is this not our only requirement our creator has given us- to believe it is true- we come from something far greater and we must try to live to the standards given to us by messengers- it is true our understanding of this world is relative to an observer for what we learn and observe makes our opinions- and in todays times of television and internet we hear so many stories of others observations- let me tell you when I seen a UFO- an unidentified flying object- it was 1987 and I was studying physics at Kutztown University approximately 40 miles from my place of birth-I love physically working out and the nighttime is my favorite time- it was 11pm and I was in the university football field alone. I was atop a wooden platform skipping rope where the football instructor yells at the players. I was a good way through skipping and feeling the workout- I tell you this because it is not a college party but in fact when my wits were strongest- straight and physically active-thus it would be hard to pull the wool over my eyes- the setting is this; small university town surrounded by many farms- I was on a football field between two main buildings and I faced towards a direction away from the buildings into the football field–after the field about 150 yards was a tree line-after the tree line was a farm field full of corn for miles- it was dark with clear skies and stars in the sky- as I was skipping and feeling very strong I noticed a moving small light to my right in the far off distance- as I see stars in the sky- it looked like a tiny white light the size of as star about 50 miles away-just guessing- and immediately I figured it was a jet in the sky moving- Thus-as I was skipping rope and noticed this small light which looked like a star in the distance and was moving like a jet as I initially thought- it did not impress me at all- my eyes look to the left and then back again AND WHAT I SEEN MADE ME STOP IMMEDIATELY- this small light which I thought was a jet in the distance is now half way to my position- this thing was moving so fast it made me stop skipping rope- in the time span of first seeing it to me reacting was only a second- the time to look right and then left and then back again as I skipped rope- I was in awe- for this white light was not a white light at all- across the field in which I stood and stared-this thing traveled above the tree tops (approx 50 yards behind it-thus from me 200 yards) This thing was about a third the size of the trees as I looked at it race across my view-maybe 30 feet in diameter- a perfect round sphere red in color- no doors-lines-wings-anything- completely round and a glowing red- like a soft red light on a brake of a car- perfectly round with no tail like a comet- can you imagine how I felt- its not over- right behind it- approximately 50-100 feet behind was a smaller blue one in the exact line of travel as the first- but this one was a third the size of the red one- same as the first in regards to no obvious lines or markings on it- simply a perfect sphere of light moving with incredible velocity right in front of me- you can think what you want at this stage- but I will tell you this- I knew immediately this thing was not of this earth- and I wanted to be the first to find it. As I stood on this platform and watched this thing fly across my view in less than 2 seconds and it seemed like it landed approximately 2 miles away at a 30 degree angle- I immediately flew off that platform and into my Pontiac firebird parked about 30 feet away- I WAS GOING TO FIND THIS THING- I zipped out the parking lot of this university with no care whatsoever for wreckless driving as I would want the police to follow me- I drove ¼ mile to the main intersection of the university-made a right onto the main street and continued past the college town and into farms fields-about 2 miles-at least 100 miles an hour- I took a road that beared left as I believed this was the best estimation of its landing( for what it is worth- the majority of my life is hiking extensively in the toughest forests- most of which I do alone- I have a good sense of direction and not known to be afraid of anything at night-reason being i have always had the conscoius thoughts of walking everywhere with the strong light of god shining upon me- thus -it was never dark) my mind was filled with the energy of finding this thing- it took me at least 2-3 minutes to make it here- and needless to say I was pumped- I believed this spot on this dark road was it- I pulled over like a race car driver - it was a small patch of grass area of at least 20 feet wide and then into a small area of trees and an opening behind It as this is what I deduced driving into this area from the road- HERE IS MY FEELING- FROM SEEING IT TO DRIVING OVER TO FINDING IT I WAS PUMPED UP WITH SO MUCH ADRENALINE- AS SOON AS I HOPPED OUT THE CAR AND INTO THE TALL GRASS TO THE AREA I BELIEVED IT WAS IN- MY MIND CHANGED INSTANTAENOUSLY- DON’T GO FURTHER- YOU DID ENOUGH- LEAVE- I believe I was tested- encouraged in some ways- for what happened to me in 1987 kept me on my initial goals of finding a major scientific advancement for society and there is no question it has done so- for at this stage in my life- I was reevaluating my life- why do I spend so much time on science when most others play-have fun- make money-when most of my mental energies are spent on science- for some goal and dream that was put into me at the age of 17 to continue in science- THAT IS MY UFO STORY-
9-3-08 Over the last 3 week I have seen as many as seven UFO’s in the skys out off Excelcior Road in south Sacramento. They stay as long as 3 hours in ths sky shifting up down and side to side. They have the colors of red,blue,white,amber,and green spinning around then and tonight off Fulton there were four that appeared at about 10:30pm and now there is just one and its 1:19am. I did not believe till I seen it for myself. It is Exciting! Keep your eye to the sky….
I live in Antelope CA which is in the Sacramenot area and we have been having multiple UFOs in our sky every night all night since 11-16-08 is when I first noticed them. It’s been going on long before that from what I’ve been reading online. There has been one lower craft since I first saw and there are over 15 scattered out through the sky. I can tell with the naked eye because they move and when looking through binoculars you can seet the color is the same as the lower ufo. It’s been raining but two nights ago there was a second lower craft. They appear to be different colors on different nights. Some nights their red lights all round and on other nights it’s the color of a rainbow with the most beautiful color purple I have ever seen. If I would look at the clock I can tell by what time it is where the ufo will be hovering over. Around 7 and 8 pm it will be coming over Folosom, Orangeville then Citrus Heights. Around 10 is when it’s in front of me in Antelope. There out all night and a news helicopter and reporter got film of one they were chasing.
