UFO or A Secret Spy Plane?

Wednesday March 26, 2008
Depiction of UFOThe community of Great Gonerby, just west of Grantham, Lincolnshire, U.K., has been known as a small village with big numbers when it comes to UFO reports. Only recently, a series of UFO sightings has made newspaper headlines. The attention drawn to the village is primarily due to four years of continuous reports.

During that time, a strange object has been seen by many, including one Allan Spick. He saw it well enough to make a sketch. A copy of his depiction is included.

Another witness has come forward who asserts that he saw the same object over Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.

The anonymous witness said: "It was about 50 feet off the ground and not more than a city block away from me. I saw what appeared to be a craft that looked almost tear-shaped but sideways. I slowed down to a crawl and watched it hovering for about 10 seconds."

Depiction of AuroraIn a recent article from Great Britain, a new theory has developed: the unknown object could be the top-secret American spy plane, known as the Aurora. This craft of mystery, allegedly created at Area 51, has been alluded to many times in folklore, but no one has ever taken a photograph of the real thing, at least not to my knowledge. And there is no definitive proof that it even exists. A depiction of it is included here. This new, high-tech surveillance plane, as legend goes, is a replacement for the ageless Blackbird. The Aurora is allegedly capable of speeds far beyond the sound barrier.

This is an interesting theory, but only time will tell how much probative value it has. Is it possible that some of the UFO sighting reports have actually been the Aurora?

This drawing looks a lot like the drawings I’ve seen of the Aurora Plane, but who knows for sure. I’m sure it exist, there’s too much here-say, people have a habit, they have to tell what they know to someone and then it just gets everywhere, called gossip. This plane has been the subject of the Military for some time now, I think its about time they introduce it to us since we’re paying for it.

(5) M Brenner says:

Aurora reportedly flies like a normal plane, however fast, it has to keep moving. The key line in the article is “slowed down to a crawl and watched it hovering”.

Oh my! If the population knew how much of our money goes to black ops and other projects which we never see, benefit from or learn about there would be treason trials! In all seriousness, I think M Brenner got it right.. the key difference here is the slow, silent flight. Could it be military, sure. I’m a believer in UFOs for sure, but one who thinks many of our sightings are indeed military craft albeit using at least some technology very likely taken from our reverse engineering of downed alien craft. Again, only opinion.

If Aurora can’t stop and hover then they should be working on a craft that can do that. I would think that would be super important in surveillance, otherwise you have to keep circling. We could also use a craft that can move backward and forward just as easily. I think you may need to develop a very different propulsion system for this type of thing. Something that can enable a craft to go from 1000 mph to a hover and then dart off at 1000mph in the other direction. Sort of like what we’ve seen in the UFO stories. I can see they’re still working on getting the craft higher in space to avoid being shot down and yet capable of unloading weapons. Also maybe can use these high flying planes to shoot down satellites. The links were interesting. I though the link to Pravda was interesting since it gives the Russian perspective.

March 27, 2008. I was shocked to hear about the flight cancellations here in N.Y.C. this evening. Keep your head to the skies tonight New York UFO hunters. (and everywhere else, too.) I’m willing to bet there will be activity tonight. I’m hearing low humming in the skies and there’s a strange overcast, perfect conditions for it.

If they were testing Aurora 20 years ago, at an altitude of about 200 feet over the clear nighttime skys of Auburn Hills, Michigan, while remaining absolutely silent - then maybe it was Aurora.

Hogwash! My wife and I saw this Triangular craft. It was NOT Aurora or anything else we can think of. How can we say that? SILENCE!! Does everyone understand “silence”? We are talking about an object the size of a ballfield, with an altitude of no more than 500 feet. Right in front of us - flying and ultimately banking out-of-sight, with so much as a hum. Get me past the silence and I’ll listen to your comments.

Black triangular craft have been around for some time, notably over Belgium several years ago and also over Europe in general. Sighting of a craft such as the one described seems to fall in line with similar reports from Europe and the UK.

The putative Aurora is widely held to be powered by a form of propulsion called “pulse detonation”. This type of propulsion system operates like a buzz bomb on steroids - rather than burning fuel in a subsonic environment, the pulse detonation engine detonates a fuel-air mixture in a supersonic environment. The detonations produce thrust in exactly the same manner as did the V-1, in a combustion chamber which is shuttered so that the detonations can only exit the rear of the engine. At least, this is my understanding - there could easily be a lot of misinformation out there.

Assuming that such a propulsion system does exist, it obviously would not lend itself to hovering as described by the witness. Therefore, I would dismiss the possibility that the object seen was a hypersonic vehicle such as the Aurora is rumored to be.

There have been rumors of “stealth blimps” for a number of years, and certainly such a vehicle could hover or move “at a crawl”. However, as with the Aurora, no concrete proof of the existence of stealth blimps seems to be extant.

This report is definitely interesting, and I hope that others who may observe this or similar objects are able to obtain some good photos or videos.

it may be easy to fly fast or slow down but not to stop on a dime aand jsust hover over one spot.

March 31, 2008 at 10:54 pm
(18) Frank Winkler says:

Sam makes two good points- there is a high probability that the government has and is working on several different types of craft. Reverse engineering of captured/ recovered alien craft may well explain the high speed high altitude craft, while the stealth blimp could explain huge craft capable of hovering silently. Propulsion is the key question for both types of craft, especially high speed craft. Anti-or counter-gravity technology goes far in explaining the amneuvering of such craft. Also to be explained is the technology used to protect occupantys from turning into grease spots during high speed maneuvering, sudden stops, reversals, altitude hops, etc,. often at 3,000 MPH or faster. Finally, the issue of stealth cloaking technology– permitting craft to appear transparent, change shape, etc.– also presents a fascinating question, as well.

(20) William says:

KELLY JOHNSTON DESIGNED THE SR-71 WITH ONLY A SLIDE RULE (NO COMPUTER). NOW DON’T YOU THINK 50 YEARS LATER WE CAN HAVE SOMETHING SUCH AS WHAT IS BEING REPORTED ALL OVER THE WORLD. SKEPTICS SAY THINGS AS STUPID AS “THEY DIDEN’T SEE ANYTHING ON RADAR, SO IT WAS JUST A CAMERA LENS FLARE OR SUCH” SADDAM’S ANTI-AIRCRAFT GUNS DID NOT SEE THE F-117
BOMBERS BUT THEY DID HEAR THE NOISE.
THE SILENCE, OR AT BEST THE REPORT OF A LOW HUM, PRECLUDES THE USE OF POWER PLANTS WE ARE FAMILIAR WITH. SINCE THEY ARE OFTEN SEEN NEAR POWER LINES AND ELECTRICAL TRANSFORMERS, I WOULD VOTE FOR A FORM OF MAGNETIC DISTORTION OF GRAVITY

April 1, 2008 at 3:58 pm
(21) Sam B says:

William is very correct - if Kelly Johnson could design the SR-71 over 40 years ago with a slide rule and sketch pad (and still have it be the reigning champion of sustained speed and time enroute over a closed course), then what incredible technology may exist today with the ready availability of tremendous processing power which was undreamed-of in the 1950’s? Even discounting (for the sake of discussion) the possibility of reverse-engineered alien technology, just the normal advances in the various disciplines may boggle the mind.

If particular interest, as Frank has pointed out, would be an inertia field of some type which would prevent the crew of a hypothetical craft from being turned to jelly during a two or even three-figure G maneuver. Current fighter jets are already capable of maneuvers which produce G-loads in excess of those which the human body can physically endure (approx 9G). What does that say about crew protection in an advanced technology craft which could use anti- or counter-gravity propulsion, or even the putative Aurora in a turn at 8 or 10 Mach? Certainly there has at least been some serious research into such an inertia field.

While the object witnessed in this encounter was not stated to have made any eye-popping maneuvers, all information appears to indicate that it was of a type currently not “officially” known to be in operation. That isn’t to say that it is necessarily ET in origin, just that if anyone REALLY knows what it is, they aren’t saying.

I would have to imagine when we first test flew these craft with people in them someone died because at the time we din’t kno everything that could go wrong and how exactly they woyud work or else you wouldn’t need to do a test.
