The alleged secret meeting about UFOs at the United Nations has come under some criticism, but now there is more evidence to support the validity of the meeting. According to UFO researcher Robert VanDerClock, the meeting did occur. Citing increased reports of UFOs and alien contact as the purpose of the gathering, sources also stated that there was a timetable set for world disclosure of alien contact-the year 2017.

Why that year was chosen remains unknown, but VanDerClock says that he met with the original source of the meeting, who was with the two original whistle blowers, Clay and Shawn Pickering. This "source" presented documentation proving his military service, and involvement in classified services, such as the study of extraterrestrial technology. When one considers all of the secret little rooms filled with secret little groups, it is no stretch to assume that these types of meeting occur frequently.
