UFO Photographed over Alice, Texas
Here is a very interesting photograph taken over the city of Alice, Texas on April 7, 2008 by a female eyewitness. The object in the photograph appears to be unknown , and quite unique. The lady, who requested anonymity, states that while she was doing her laundry, she saw the object, simply pulled up her cell phone camera, and snapped one photo.
The object was not visible but for a few seconds, then disappeared. Once a non-believer, she now says her position has changed on UFOs. She knows that what she saw cannot be explained by anything conventional.
Two different theories have been discussed: 1) the unknown object was the moon, and 2) the object was an airplane.
"I don't think that's possible for either one of those," the woman said. "It's definitely something, I don't what it is myself."

it kinda does but was it heading off to the west to set or was it moving in another direction and how fast?
It looks like an F-111 doing a dump and burn combined with light refraction, perhaps from the sun, or maybe an F-117A.
Well amybe but why dump all tht fuel do to the price of gas and oil seems to be a waste of money to me?
The moon will be full around the 18th for the month of April, 2008. Alice, Texas has an airport 3 miles southeast of the town. The behavior of the light was described in too vague a manner in order to determine anything unusual. I live near a local airport, and it looked like the approaching headlights of a plane at low altitude with flares in the photograph.
The object in this photo looks eerily like that of an approaching plane.
On a side note, I just finished watching UFO Hunters on The History Channel about the Texas sightings of late. I was surprised to see that these objects were not solely being witnessed on January 8, as many media had reported, but started much earlier around November 07. The show was very revealing and is a must see for any UFO enthusiast. Texas is a hot spot for UFO activity and the investigation continues with the UFO Hunters as well as MUFON as reports are still coming in.
Well now if thats’ the case i would love to go to Texas myself to see them.
My first impression is that this image appears to be that of a bright light source shining through a break in a fairly solid cloud layer. I’m not certain what time of day this photo was taken, but from what I gather it was in the evening.
On that basis, my tentative assessment is that this could well be the Moon partially covered by a bank of clouds. What appear to be horizontal projections on either side of the light source are, I feel, reflections of moonlight in the very top of the cloud layer. There are also faint “rays” emanating from the light source toward the ground, a typical phenonemon when such a bright light source shines through a break in a cloud layer.
The statement that the object was visible for only a few seconds before it disappeared also makes me tend to believe that this is a photo of the Moon and a cloud layer. The moving cloud layer could easily cover the Moon after a few seconds, and in fact the movement of the clouds can even create the illusion that a point light source is an object moving in and out of the clouds. Such could be true if a tiny break in the clouds partially exposed the Moon for a few seconds.
All this is, of course, based solely on the one photo and the description given. Cell phone photos are of notoriously poor resolution, and they do not lend themselves readily to accurate depiction of an image. Therefore, we could be missing some importand and very relevant image data.
It is very easy for the eye to be fooled, particularly at night. For the nonce, I will state that my considered opinion is that this is a photo of the Moon partially obscured by a low cloud layer. But I am certainly open to consideration of any additional information.

i would guess the sun and someone enhanced the photo to make it look more real,jsut my opnion however.
It’s just before sunset and the sun breaks through the clouds for a few seconds. I’ve seen this UFO before.

I agree that this looks more like a sunset through a break in the clouds. My assumption that it might be the Moon was based on statements that indicated the photo was taken at night. But it does look much more like the setting sun coming through a break in a low cloud layer.
With regard to electronic transmissions as mentioned above, I don’t know that America necessarily has more of those than any other developed nation.
However, there is no denying that we terrestrials have been sending out omnidirectional electronic transmissions of various types for well over a century now. It’s very sensible to speculate that technologically advanced civilizations within that 100 light year radius have picked up on some of these and have come to investigate the primitive culture which sent those signals.
I have heard some wierd things on my radio but then again who hasn’t?
