Unknown Object Photographed over New Mexico
The photograph shown to the left was sent to us by a reader, who identifies herself as
Three Spirit Wolf. This is how she explains how the photograph came about:
Near Sedillo Hill in Tijeras, New Mexico, date-February, 2008.
I took some pictures of a silver object over my home. It looked like a barrel, not flat or long, just like one of my water barrels. I was walking down the hill to my house, and it was a really nice day.
The object looked really close, and it wasn't a balloon. It looks far away with my cheap camera. I wasn't expecting to see anything.
A big thanks to our reader for sharing her photograph with us.

Srarnge.
Yeah, and strange too!
doesn’t look like a plane balloon or a helicopter. It is a UFO in the true sense of the word
Now the question is what is it and is it being flewn by beings from another world?
I live near Tijeras and have seen similar objects many times and photographed them a couple times too.
‘Reminiscent of an object photographed around Las Cruces on 3/12/67. Too bad about the camera.
Better then alot of ufo pictures though.
Leslie, how about sharing some of those pictures?
It would be nice if you could.
cool shot…..have also seen some unasual things around the crest….lived in sandia park for many years..only have one good photo…..live on the gulf coast in florida now..and not seen anything here
Well yet at least.
Yep thats a barrel alright
who seen the triangle ufo on 3-11-08 also seen at Tijeras? Maria
Well I hope it not lke a beer keg.
Must have been an extremely small camera to produce an image so tiny!! Is it not pointless printing a photograph so small and with so little detail? This could be anything including a kettle thrown over the hedge by a camper in the next field!
True ad he zommed out too to make it even appear to be farther away.
This is one of those UFO photographs which I feel has potential to be a “real” one. It’s not slick, it’s obviously not staged, it was shot by an ordinary person with an unremarkable camera. Three Spirit Wolf certainly saw something that he could not identify and did his best to record the sighting.
The object itself does seem to exhibit a saucer-like or possibly polygonal configuration. There appears to be an appendage of some type on the right side, although this could be a photographic artifact attributable to the low resolution of the photo. There also appears to be a small protuberance on the bottom of the object, something like maybe a radome or the ET equivalent thereof.
If I were given $100 to bet on either this pic or the “drone” pics as being the real ET, I’d do like the late great Sir Arthur C. Clarke once said - I’d put $10 on the drone, $20 on this pic, and I’d keep the rest for myself.
Sadly though the quality kind of sucks to the point alot of people doubt it’s the real deal.
Hi, you know some of you people commenting here just don’t get it do you? One guy says the quality isn’t good enough to be real, that’s the most stupid thing I have ever heard. And the comment about “he zoomed out to make it seem it was farther than it really was”, another dumb statement, the guy whipped the camera up and took the photo and it was gone, the frigging UFO wasn’t there to pose for a photo shoot…wake up! These comments are the reason a lot of people don’t post pictures, they know their gonna get all kinds of jealous comments. If you ask me there’s nothing else the photo could be, a UFO and that’s final…its not a plane or anything we have, its not a tin can trust me on this one. Its a UFO and it might not be the best photo in the world, but its good enough to tell what it is and that my friends is good enough for me. So now this should give you enough ammo to run your silly mouths about what I had to say….but I don’t scare to easy….so go ahead now and BBB.
This is definitely a UFO in the sense that it is an unidentified object that is obviously flying in some manner.
The term “UFO” doesn’t automatically equate to “ET spacecraft”, and that is where some folks get off the rails a bit. I think that we tend to think first of a UFO as ET, simply because that is the theme most often applied to unidentified aerial (or submerged) objects.
We need to stay objective rather than assumptive - that is the only way we can eventually distill out the truth.
Like Stanton Friedman is fond of saying - it’s not a question of whether ALL UFO photos are of ET spacecraft, it’s a question of whether ANY of them are. And my money says that out of all the UFO pics ever taken, at least one is genuine.
QED.
How true.
its strange..
