Sky Phenomena Video

Here is a very interesting youtube video that you might want to take a look at. The Youtube videos are suspect because, as you may know, many of them are computer generated. But now and then, you will see one that really grabs your attention. Also remember that the videos posted there are "flash." This means that to save file size and loading time, the videos are compressed, which causes a loss of detail.
The poster of the video was on a trip to Yosemite Park in 2002, and tries to sell the mystery of the sky phenomena because it took place not too far from Area 51. This possibility cannot be ruled out, of course. The poster says that he was driving down a winding road as he was leaving the park, and spotted a ball of light in the sky. A large halo surrounded it, with a trail following. He took video and also photographs, but because of low light conditions, the photos did not process.
Another interesting piece of the puzzle is that several Air Force jets soon flew into the area, circling where the phenomena had been.

This looks like an “ordinary” old nighttime rocket launch, such as those that happen often at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. There is nothing UFOish about it.
Yes, clearly a rocket launched from Vandenburg. Smoke trail in upper atmosphere distorted by high winds.
I would have to agree on that one,jsut a normal occurace and someone had no idea what it was.
i think hoyt vandenbergs place was used he and all of his other mj 12 guys twinning forrestal lemay von braun and others probably put this rocket together 50 years ago et woouldnt leave this kind of contrail
