"We Just Saw a UFO"
Washington-02-13-08-Driving on Highway 530 west into Silvana, we turned left on Larson Road. Just past the Lutheran church we noticed 2 lights above the hill we were driving towards, about a mile away. As we made our way up the first curve, I said to my 15 year old, "Those lights are strange."
"Yes, I noticed them too, down by the church" she said.
The lights were closer to us... or we were closer to them. They had not moved. We were thinking it was a plane, or helicopter. I was driving about 2-3 MPH, keeping an eye on the lights/road. They were about 50-100 ft above us.
We could only see the very bright lights. They had a "cloud-like" or fog likeness around each light. These lights were huge, guessing no less than 50 ft in diameter. My daughter said, "It doesn't have any wings."
I said, "Yeah, I know."
As we made the top of the hill and made a left turn, the object was still hovering. It moved (glided) a bit, then back. We stopped in the road to watch it totally. We put down our windows to listen, thinking we would be able to identify the motor. There was no noise, just total silence. I said to my daughter, "It's not making a noise-no engine."
We still could not make out a shape, only the oddest, brightest lights. We watched as it began to move off to the south-southeast. The two lights become one light in the back... it was going out of our sight, so we moved to a clear space in the road about 50 feet south. It came into view again. Then as fast as you can process what your are seeing, it jetted south-southeast in a very vertical way. We watched it as it began to look just like a star in the sky... before it eventually disappeared.
Because of the way it left, I turned to my daughter and said, "I think we just saw a UFO."
She said, "Yeah! I know... cool!"

I saw a craft, on March 2, 2006, which was unlike anything I’ve seen. It was roughly around 9:00 P.M., the sun was almost completely set, and I was staring at Orion - trying to find the Pleiades. Suddenly I saw a V-shaped vehicle (like a flying wing) from 35-50 feet in width. At first, it was about 100 feet above the ground. The object was silent as it veered around a treetop and rested parallel to me - about 40 feet away, and then left. The “flying wing” realigned itself and left soundlessly about 10 feet above the rooftops of the neighborhood. The entire experience lasted a few mintes. I have a more complete report on www.ufoevidence.org. Mine is Case ID: 841. I’m afraid you’ll just have to take my word for it that I am the same person who made the report. I don’t claim 100s of sightings, or say I have any special connection. I attibute the experience to chance; that is, looking up at the right time. If I wasn’t interested in finding the Pleiades, I would have missed it altogether because it was silent and without lights. I’ve never seen anything like it before or since. I was just left with a deep sense of seeing something very significant. My perspective has changed. We could be sharing this planet with interested “anthroplogists” from another star. When I look at any of the deep space images taken by the Hubble, I find it ludicrous to think that we are the only ones.
I’m sorry about the discrepancy with the sun being “almost completely set”, at around 9:00 P.M., during early March. The accuracy of the smaller details of memory is a strange thing especially with first hand reports. There is still a segment of the experience which I did not originally report because I wanted to make a fresh account. Even so, I sacrificed some of the descriptions regarding how the craft realigned itself just before it left. In other words, I was still trying to figure out, completely, what I saw while still wanting to make a timely report. I apologize for inconsistencies. I’m hoping this won’t detract from the credibility of my experience. You should try the trick of accurately remembering everything about an event which is completely outside of any past experience. Regardless of the smaller details, the sequence of events really happened. I don’t care if someone doesn’t believe me. I saw it.

Well I do not believe this site to be fake in any shape fashion or form, and if you do not believe in what people have stated on here then I would assume you do not believe in ufo’s either. So therefore maybe it would be in your best interest to not visit sites of this nature, we have enough skeptics in this world that try to make us think we are crazy if we report something we seen in the night sky and was unsure of what we saw. So if you do not believe in ufo’s that is fine you are entitled to your own belief as well as the rest of us are so do us all a favor, if you cannot say anything without pointing a finger at websites such as this or people who make there sightings public then keep your comments to yourself as I said we have enough people in this world that have a problem with running there mouth before they have all there facts. I have had several sightings in my lifetime and while everyone may not believe me thats okay but I refuse to stand back and let others make me feel bad for reporting the sightings or make me feel as if I’m a liar or crazy. I’m not trying to hurt anyone’s feelings with what I have stated here I’m just simply standing up for something I believe in and for others who believe and know what they have seen. Debbie Ky

In most cases, reports of anomalous lights in the sky don’t get me very interested. After seeing and identifying some of the things people have thought were UFO’s, I need to have more than “I saw a light in the sky” to get my attention.
The thing about night sightings is that the human eye is easily deceived, particularly when a very bright object is seen against a dark background. A bright planet seen against a background of moving clouds will seem to move itself. Even against a completely clear and dark sky, a bright star may seem to be moving back and forth due to minute movements of the eyeball.
This report does intrigue me somewhat, mainly because of the reported manner in which this UFO departed after the sighting. If it were not for that, this sighting could easily be dismissed by a skeptic as misidentification of a high-flying aircraft, the ISS, or some bright orbiting object like the Hubble. But the fact that this object is reported to have moved slowy above the skyline and then suddenly to have departed at high speed and a sharp angle knocks those explanations right out of the park.
These witnesses are definitely reporting a sighting of a bona fide UFO. Whether it was ET or not is a different question and a much more difficult one.
There is nothing ‘Fake’ about the high level powers. There is a continuos dis-info program in operation to confuse us about the truth.
If ET did not exist; neither would we. We would have been turned into nuclear waste many years ago.

I just saw one in the southern sky. I never believed in these sightings before tonight. At first glance it looked like a star. It caught my eye because it’s twinkle was reddish then yellowish the bright white, then it started to move erratically; up, down, sideways both directions. It just sort of hovered in the same space, from my perspective the ground it covered was about an inch. My wife and one other witness acknowledged that they saw the light but did not see any movement. I might be crazy.

Many years ago in Arizona I saw something much like this. This account was like revisiting the experience. A friend and I had just come back from a late noght drive out top the Superstion Mountains and wer sitting on mu truck talking and further enjoying a spectacular clear sky desert night. We then noticed a bright light aproaching from the East very low on the horizon moving quite slowly. We thought that it was a helicopter untill it was so close and there was no noise. It also had a shimmer to it like the light was somehow obstructed by mist. As it became very close we both got really frightened. We were checking out what we were seeing with each other the whole time. At that exact moment when we were feeling afraid the light compleatly stopped. It paused for just a few moments and then shot away West at an amazing speed. Just before disapearing it made a 45degree turn North. THanks for a place to share this old story. This was probably in 1982 or so, August. Several days later when my business trip had me in Presscot I met several folks who had a similar story from the same night and basicaly the same time. A distance of about 120 miles or so!
Around 10 or 11 pm i heard a weird noise.So I came out of bed to look out the window but then 50 to 100 bright lights SWOOPED down from the sky then dissapered! Im not joking! If you want to coment me about this, email me at hanktank@comcast.net.
i live in Melbourne Australia and tonight i was at my paddock and i looked up into the west and than i saw a very flat looking silver object i assumed it was nothing just as any naive person does but than about 15 minutes later my mother, myself and a friend saw what appeared to be a star making a very straight and slow descent in the south east and as it descended it seemed to get slower and expand until it disappeared beyond the horizon. and the place i was is just around the corner of another reported sight and abduction a number of years ago.
