FBI Investigating UFO Report from Continental Airlines
The UFO was seen shortly after take-off of Flight 1544, which held 148 passengers, and 6 crew members. Continental Airlines has confirmed that the jet landed safely in Cleveland, Ohio. The FAA's best guess is that the object may be a model rocket, some of which are capable of heights of 10,000 feet. The UFO was close enough to the jet to cause safety concerns. More on this as new info comes to me.

Not possible for model rocket capable to reach 10,000 feet. Only high powered rockets that are highly regulated by ATF FAA,NFPA and Certifed by NAR or Tripoli. Explosives permits from ATF and flight clearance from FAA. Highly unlikely that any person who can aquire propellant reaching these altitudes to launch in a manner to cause air traffic problems. . FAA requires rockets over 16oz and propellent 62.5 grams to notify nearest tower of operations. Nothing off the shelf can reach these altitudes.
Yeah and what happened to flight KI 547 over Indonesia?? All silent after that one. What was seen by the locals coming out of a lake near the flight path?

I just read about this report, and visited ABC’s channel 13 website. The information I read is somehow different. The report states that the pilot was the one who told the air traffic controllers that a possible model rocket with a flaming tail, and a trail of smoke was flying ahead, at 5,000 feet about 11 miles east of George Bush airport. Robert Moorehead, engineer and president of Amateur Spaceflight Association in Houston stated that model rockets rutinely can reach as high as 40,000 feet. Now, I have no knowledge of model rockets, and by any means am trying to argue whether or not he saw a UFO. I know UFOs exist, and don’t believe most of the explanations government agencies, and the mainstream media give regarding this subject. But, at the same time I try to be careful where do I get information from. I will come back here to read any aditional information posted by Mr. Booth. This is interesting, and can’t wait to hear what the passengers have to say.
A rocket? Yeah, right. So, I’m to believe this lame excuse? I’ve recently seen 3 following behind an airliner in south GA. Some guy on youtube got a great video of it! I’ve got to fly this week…I’ll take my camera!
It could have been a rocket. It’s a plausible explanation is not a lame excuse by any stretch of the imagination.
There are extremes on both sides of the UFO debate. The trick is to try to stay somewhere in the middle and remain objective.
