The British Wave Continues
The engineer, Michael Madden, was accompanied by coworker Michael Casson as they were heading to the Yeovilton base on Sunday, June 29, at about 10:00 PM.
Madden made this statement to the press: "I work with aircraft and grew up next to Manchester Airport so I know exactly what a plane looks and sounds like. This was definitely not a plane. It was a circular disc which was glowing bright, hovering hundreds of metres up. Other people must have spotted it. It was unlike anything I've ever seen in my life."
This sighting is only one of many which have occurred in the recent UFO wave over Great Britain. Although some of cases may be solved by Chinese lanterns, kites, and balloons, there are definitely many which cannot. These cases are all ongoing, and I will report more as new information comes to light.
I have just completed a synopsis of all of the British sightings to date, with links to the original articles, videos, and photographs. Check it out at The British Wave of 2008.

I for one believe this guy! As i saw something that day, at around the very same time, but at jct 22 of the m5(clevedon). I was travelling alone from weston-s-mare, home to south glos.
but i did not see a disc. I caught sight of a bright red light, which i thought was an undercarriage light of an aircraft, then i noticed it had a conical shaped red beam coming out of it. The object had none of the other lights you would expect to see on an aircraft. ie wing lights, tail light and the high intensity forward lights.
