New Witness, Old Case

It seems that a new witness has come forward to add some gusto to the 1974 Wales UFO Crash. Often referred to as the "Welsh Roswell," the case has never died, and is still being researched today. It falls into the same category as the Roswell crash, the Kecksburg crash, and the Rendlesham Forest incident, in that they all were covered up by government officials. Too many people saw too much to write cases like these off, and they will continue to be researched until they are resolved.

The Wales case has had new life breathed into it by one Geraint Edwards, of Denbighshire. The retired gamekeeper revealed to producers of a new documentary about UFO encounters in Great Britain, that he saw a flying saucer hover for a good ten minutes. He watched it as it sat over the Berwyn Mountains on February 15, 1974. And, he was not alone. Although he did not reveal the names of his companions, he does use the plural, "we," in describing the event. He and at least one other person were on their way to a pub to do some drinking and play darts. He makes it very clear that he was not under the influence at the time, and that they were going "to" the pub, not coming from it.

Edwards told investigators: "It was definitely a flying saucer. It was a pity I didn't have a camera because it was there for at least 10 minutes, just hovering. We were on the way down to play darts when something caught our eye in the south-east, so we stopped. It looked like a rugger ball, but the ends of it were more pointy. When it took off, it just went like lightning on the same line as it hovered. I wrote it down in my diary. It was 6.45PM on the Friday night."

Only a couple of weeks before Edwards sighting, the famous event took place in the mountains, and researchers believe that Edwards' sighting definitely is part of the same case. During the time that Edwards and companion(s?) made their sighting, military operations were still ongoing at the site. Doesn't this sound like a cover up to you?
