UFO Sighting Reports
Welcome to another session of UFO sighting reports. This week, I am posting three reports from our own readers. I apologize for it taking so long. I've just been burning the candle at both ends.
Michigan-07-04-08-I was reading your article about the UFO sightings in Michigan and it
shocked me. On the Fourth of July around 1:30 AM in Romulus,
Michigan, my friends and I were driving home from a party and we came upon some
railroad tracks, and had to stop for oncoming traffic to clear. As we did that,
my best friend and I were looking up at the stars since it was a really
clear night.
We saw 2 orange glowing crafts hovering in the sky, kind of floating back and forth. We both grabbed our cameras and took pictures. I have enclosed the best one we took. We were really freaked out and couldn't explain what they were. As we were looking another car stopped on the other side of us, asking what was wrong and we pointed at the sky and asked the man what he thought they were, and as we did that, they quickly moved away. They definitely were not fireworks and sound similar to the other sightings in Michigan that night. I hope this picture will be useful to you. Do you think the fireworks could have attracted them? The city had fireworks 3 hours earlier, and less than a mile from where we spotted the crafts. source: Clare W.-http://ufos.about.com
Nevada-07-08-08-I saw a very interesting light in Las Vegas, at around 9:38 PM. The light went from a regular white light to bluish as it left the atmosphere toward the southwest. I have never reported anything like this before. I hope maybe someone else saw it too, and I'm not crazy. source: reader submitted-http://ufos.about.com
North Carolina-07-12-08-My friend Shannon and I were outside in the backyard just before sunset. She pointed out that there was a large off-white light in the sky. The sky was partly cloudy, and there were a few stars. No star could be this big. It was the size of a marble held about a foot away from your eye.
It keep moving (from were I was standing) millimeters left and right. We called out my Dad to make sure we weren't crazy. He came out and saw it. We were all standing, and like a minute after he got out there, it flashed. A extremely small, red flashing light was there for about 18 to 20 seconds, and then disappeared in a flash. We all looked as hard as we could and there was nothing in it's place. Nothing we could think of could be out in the sky and just turn out. It scared the xxxx out of us. source: www.mufon.com
Texas-Date unknown-I was at Bingo and was driving my friend home when we saw it. I was on Katy Fort Bend Road in Katy, Texas. It scared us witless. Never have I seen anything like that and I was in the military from 1964 through 1976. Yes, we lived near airports and there was never anything that big or shaped like that at any airports here. Washington-07-10-08-I saw this driving home on State Street. It was too low to be a plane or astronomical phenomenon. It was too high to be part of a boat. The object was large, without movement or sound. It had a yellow color to it and a crescent shape(facing up).
I lost it in the trees/houses. I was curious, yet not compelled to investigate. I had a strange feeling that I should just ignore it. It was not the moon. The moon was exactly at half that night. source: www.mufon.com

I saw a ufo in Madison Place, Ohio (Cincinnati) This ufo looked like rectangle, two story factory. It was about 300 feet off the ground and was about as large as a city block in that area. The year was about 1970 about 11:00 P.M.
I have read about a “factory” shaped rectangular UFO. The one I read about had lighted windows. Look it up on google. Factory shaped UFO.
I just wanted to let you all know what I saw last night it was about 8:25 p.m. I stepped out back to smoke and it was still day light outside and within about a minute of being outside I saw what I thought at first was a balloon up in the sky floating along, but then common sense kicked in saying balloons do not travel at a high rate of speed as that one is. What ever this object was it was perfectly round and black in color and it appeared to have movement to it in the center. I watched it go directly above me and it was well above the tree tops as it passed over I could still see movement in the center I walked out in to my yard keeping my eye on it and I watched this object completely disappear in front of my eyes and please keep in mind there where no clouds in the sky it was absolutely a crystal clear sky. I have no idea what I saw but I do know balloons when cut loose do not travel at high rates of speed like that and there was no wind outside at all. I just wondered if anyone else had seen anything like this or what your alls thoughts would be on it as to what it was? I have one other sighting that I had not mentioned anything about to anyone due to the fact it scared the crap out of me but I will go ahead and put it on here and see what everyone else thinks about it.

The two ufo ’s in Michgan Enlarge the picture to 400. The two are exactly the of buld and shape . Strange looking .
But I think very real and solid looking .

I had 8 people over for fireworks on 07-04-2008 and around 10:30 p.m. in Dearborn, Michigan we all saw an orange mass in the sky just kind of hovering. We all watched for a good 10 minutes or more and even tried to take pictures. My pictures and my friends pics did not come out. This is not the first time I have seen these things and have noticed that they have become more frequent because since then I have had 2 more sightings. I have always believed and will always believe that we are not alone.
i was just 17yrs at the time im now 47 i walked out of my house to the back step at 8pm to say goodbye to my friend when we and later a radio report saw a large object above us it to this day had no defind shape it was loud silence huge its presents im now aware wanted us to see then it dissapered with out movement fassifern newcastle nsw australia
i to have spotted a strange object in the night sky,i was taking pictures of the night sky and had something on my camera but thought to be a bad picture until i read of the ufo sighting in Texas around the same time now my thoughts have changed this happened on the 2nd of aug. 08 in Cochran,Ga.
On 08-11-08 we saw an aircraft that appeaered to hover the sky the same way a person treads water. It was amazing,the flight pattern was so unusual that there was no way that this could have been a regular aircraft as we know it. It appeared to bounce, turn, zig-zag, change it’s lights, ect. This happend in Ojai, California, off of Highway 33 at the 21 mile mark in the mountains on the way to Taft. This flying object hoverd the sky the same night as the comets. It hoverd for the whole hour and 15 minutes that we were there. If anyone else saw this please leave a commet as well.
We saw three in Chicago too. Just found out though that they are flying chinese lanterns that you light on fire.
I was going to Cape May NJ yesterday with my wife and 2 sons when we saw something in the distant sky.We were on NJ-42S and were doing about 75mph.The longer we drove,we saw this object which was shaped like a blimp rising and descending behind the tree line.It would seem we were getting closer but once it went behind the tree’s,it would appear again very far away in the sky.It was going up and down very slowly but every time it went below the tree line,it would appear again very very far away in only a few seconds.
We could see this was definitely not an airplane or a helicopter,and no blimp could get so far away from us so quickly.
We followed it for about 15 minutes of driving until we turned onto the Garden State Parkway and then we lost it.
It was shaped like a blimp but at times looked more round.It looked bluish in color and at times was kind of blurry to us.
We still have no idea what this was.
