"Don't Say a Word."

Follow me on:

With all of the recent sightings in Great Britain, a woman has come forward with a story which casts doubt on the UK government's alleged propensity for openness about UFO events. At least, 29 years ago, and I don't think there has been any change lately.

In a letter to the editor of the East London Advertiser, she recounts her experience, which occurred when she was a student nurse at a hospital in Leicestershire:

"The object appeared to hover above a hedge, glowing red. A white hot plume came from one end of the object, and I could hear a droning noise. To this day, I remain puzzled because the object was above me, quite low in the sky, I cannot remember seeing it move from above the hedge line."

"I got a real close look as it passed over me, clearly it was a triangle shape with lights at each point, a raised area from the tip to the middle of the other end, with a raised disc shape in the middle. Then whoosh! It was away faster than anything I had ever seen."

The Ministry of Defence visited the woman after she reported her sighting. They showed a great interest in her account, even asking her to make drawings of what she had seen. The lady was startled however, when she was instructed not to tell anyone what she had seen that night. She was told only that there had been other reports of the object that very night. She never heard from the Mod again.

This instruction causes me to wonder why. Was this event of great significance? Or, was the government testing some secret triangle-shaped object that night? I am trying to find more details of this case, but so far, I have come up empty. What do you think?

I am very skeptical as to whether any government would fly top secret prototypes willy nilly around in public places. Also, generally, they are very eager to integrate successful technology into the mainstream and thus show the potential enemy that they have something useful at their disposal.
As for governments not wanting to go public about what they may know it is likely that they are still very unsure about how some of us would react to government endorsements of alien activity reports and they could also be more concerned about having to admit what they don’t know as aside from what they do know(if they actually know any more than we do).

Even the late Lord Clancarty with his high status and dedication to the ufo mystery didnt get the government to admit publically there may be something running parallel alongside us. Dr J Allen Hynek he worked for years first sceptically and then realising there is something to what genuine people have experienced.

It always comes down to waiting for your governments to come clean with everything they know or with everything they don’t know.
Or the people obtain their own proof and make that global.
Or everyone finally gets tired of being lied to and rises up to overthrow corrupt and misleading governments.
While we do that can we throw out the use of currency ? Because I’m really tired about having to trade paper with faces on it for food, shelter and a 2008 way of living.

Thank you.

Totally agree Roel…I was born on this planet. I have a right to live off it’s resources and try to protect it as best i can..Instead i see inscrupulous companies, governments and individuals bleeding the life from it for money and power..How dare they,it belongs to us all.

Sorry there Guvna’. Can’t make a comment on this one. Ministry’s orders you know, and all that rot . The lady said, “she was startled however, when she was instructed not to tell anyone what she had seen that night”. (and that was only 29 years ago}.
So,for the moment, “Mums the word”, old boy.

Readers should recognise that the UK is the most secretive country in the World. Far more so than the USA and even the Eastern Bloc countries of the former USSR could not match that.

The rule in Government here, is deny everything. Admit to nothing. Indeed, if the sky turn black tomorrow, the UK government would deny it if required and 60 million people would be seeing sun spots or having a mass hallucination.

Subterfuge is a way of life and events of 30 years ago still happen today on a regular basis, whether what is seen is of terrestrial or extraterrestrial origin.

If they’re not telling us the truth about this, then what do you think might be the truth about nuclear weapons?

I agree with Scott L Felton that ‘The UK is the most secretive country in the World’.
A lot of this secrecy is due to a stupid attitude that ’small’people cannot be trusted.
e.g.For about 40 years after the end of ww2,it was a state secret that Hitler was an assasination target!
Lord Mountbatten was murdered by an PIRA bomb in his boat here in Ireland. In the fifties when UFO’S started to make the news in the UK,he said he believed in the possibility of other life forms in the Universe.Later he was set-up with a meeting from someone claiming to be from another planet(he was a UK intelligence operative). The IRA certainly carried out the bombing, but was there a ‘hidden hand’ by UK intelligence moles?
Twice I have seen UFO’s,the first time in september 97. I had some pups and I used to feed them outside,it was around 8 in the evening and as I put the dogs dishes out I observed what I thought was a ’star’over a mountain.I was astonished to .see it move in the blink of an eye and hover over another mountain. The UFO remained in the same position for several minutes then vanished.
The second UFO was in 2003 and I had been visiting neighbours till midnight or so,they were home on holidays from UK and they had a telescope. I was joking them and said about Aliens, etc and the UFO I had seen. When I arrived home I let the Dog out for a run before I headed for bed. A ’star’like a small point of light kept coming closer to me like approaching single vehicle light, the light kept getting larger-then suddenly stopped and retreated back to its original and vanished.
I still dont have firm conclusions about the origin of UFO’s,mostly I think they are secret Govt.craft, and the Govt.is suited by ‘Aliens’,etc. e.g.Cattle abduction and mutilation in the US is a ‘cover’ to find out about the effect of past nuclear tests, etc.
I saw a newspaper article in The SUN newspaper july12,2006,it was a review of a book ‘Conspiracy of Silence’ about UFO’s in Ireland. In it was ‘A silent light,Mayo1977,two friends described exactly the same experience I had in 1997 twenty years later!
I think there are several possibilities, maybe our leaders are as much in ignorance of UFO’s as we are and dont wish to admit it. Maybe they know ‘dark secrets’,such as the Earth may become hostile to life and these ‘craft’ are to be used to re-settle the’Elite’ on distant Worlds.

Interesting. My father has claimed for many years to have seen something exactly of the same description, in the United States in the very early 1960s.He always said it turned off the car he was driving. He was telling this story BEFORE all the movies and such where a UFO turns off a car engine.

Good question Patrick, here’s an late answer! :-)
They rip through time and space affecting multiple layers.
It’s why most of them have been stopped/deactivated.
