More on the October 14 UFO

As you all know, there is a lot of discussion around the Net on a prediction made by Blossom Goodchild that on October 14, a UFO will appear. This information, according to Goodchild, was channeled to her from the Federation of Light. Many of you made your views known on my previous blog about this.
Now, there is even more! Some clarifications have been made about the prediction on a recent Youtube video. Check it out. The group that Goodchild represents has received literally thousands of emails from concerned, or worried people. Does this further the study of UFOs? Make a comment if you wish.

You know Billy, I really hope something does happen. I don’t think anything will happen but I hope something does. I read the whole message that comes from the ‘aliens’ and I have to say I did feel something weird while reading it. Just a strange sensation is all. I feel that something like this needs to happen, humanity is losing its way and maybe some intervention is something it needs.
I personally have seen several UFOs in my life. 1 of them I never talked about publicly, it was so close to me and my wife and then young son back in 1996 that it was less than 50 feet away from us very clear very visible no mistaking what it was, Its hard to explain the emotions that go through you when your looking at this thing. Trust me when I tell you its 2008 and I’m still waiting for an answer to that one!! I believe personally that its time for everyone else to get their turn, So that I don’t feel all alone on this great journey of hours, Do I believe she is telling us the right scoop on Oct 14th, the Jury is out. I just don’t get my hopes up anymore. But who knows time will tell.
Does it further the study of UFO’s? If first contact is made I certainly beleive so. If contact is not made it also will further the study…and most certainly teach us to disregard any proclaimed Channelers, as they would be factually unreliable. However, it seems as if you wish to cast negativity on this proclaimed event prior to the proclaimed date. That is ignorant and Childish of you. Just sit back relax, keep your negative comments, and negative promoting questions to yourself until after the 14th. How would you like it if you made statements regarding UFO’s based on whatever research you have done and we all laughed at you and made you look stupid prior to allowing you to disclose your info to us. I think you feel left out and want to be known as the “Guru” know it all authority on UFO’s. Grow up bud.

The Goodchild proclimation is no different than someone stating (when, like her, they risk ridicule, or worse) that they saw a UFO. She’s sharing a message that she believes. Or, the UFO witness is sharing what they witnessed. Everyone decides what they believe after hearing anything. That’s fair. Nobody should be disparaged, though, for what they either claim, witness, or believe if the person means no harm.
I guess at a minimum, Goodchild’s preminition furthers the study of UFO phenomenon as it forces us to practice listening to people we may not agree with, as we would those who we do; and to agree to disagree. I’m no saint and have to remind myself of this, too. The key in my mind is if we are already at a deficit in our studies, because our government is protecting information or keeping information from us, then we need each other (those of us who are interested in understanding what is going on). Many minds, sharing their own theories, then having discussions about those theories, where people listen to one another, leaving room for respectful disagreement, and then conducting more discussions is going to get us and our goal further than not listening to and considering one another’s contributions.

The study will go on. Has to do. Why..because of all genuine experiencers like military personnel, pilots, policemen and all walks of life even myself. We have known something will come about one day to give us all our answers. Its a case of are we ready now or have we to evolve and learn more first.
I looked at Jodrell Bank yesterday from afar and wondered how many astronomers are inquisitive about Blossoms prediction.
I think most of you should buy a dictionary. Just an opinion.
If we were to announce to another culture “out there” that we exist, would we use channeling to do it? When countless false claims have been made in the past via channeling? Why would we announce the event at all? Why not just show up? I think the biggest problem with everything I’m reading, from skeptics to fanatics, is that everybody seems to have all the answers, neatly encapsulated into our very limited human understanding. Amazingly, take any person who weighs in on this, and whatever they’re preaching about this “event” amazingly fits in perfectly with their entire paradigm for life in general. Of course, odds are 99.999% that nothing will happen … but if it does, I won’t be among those dancing in the street. There are too many holes in this to believe it would be anything good. Beyond that, who knows. Wait and see.
I hope it happens too. It won’t but still I can hope.
If only to see how these ridiculess Campaigners will start talking about the “Change” we all will find after November when one of them are elected!

I’ve been following the Steven Greer and James Gilliland sites for about two years, after trying to ignore it for over forty, since I was one of those children who happened to go aboard a spacecraft, and saw two different types of ET’s. I told my parents. My mother washed away the evidence and my father stomped through the marks at the landing site in our yard. They both told me it was a dream or I was imagining it, and to forget about it. I tried, but I never could, even though it happened in 1961. I was very young; barely out of kindergarten.
I’m a Christian, and I’ve studied nearly every known religion and philosophy and one thing I believe is that Satan has no control over the innocent. He can’t tempt or fool children. I was a child, therefore I surmise that what happened to me was real.

Will it happen? Heck if I know, but it sounds good to me, and I’m perfectly happy to send out peaceful messages and invite them back. They didn’t hurt me, and I got to see two really amazing varieties of flying saucers. The big one I’d love to see again, and more especially, I’d like my mom, who is still living, to see it, and know I wasn’t fibbing. I’ve spoken to my state’s governor, and my congressman at length about the Disclosure Project. The extent to which our own leaders have been kept in the dark is unconscionable.
I’ve spent several hours with Dr. Greer, and met many witnesses. These events are real. Governments of the world have been actively hiding the truth from us for over 60 years, and like everything else, it’s all over money and power. Greed is the enemy.
I’m hopeful the ET’s and the biggest ship they’ve got show up on October 14th. I would suggest to the ET’s that they NOT just hang suspended over one locale, but cruise the capital’s of the world, so everyone can see them, and know they are not a projected hologram.
One thought I’ve had is that this action will provoke Marshall Law, and our November election will be cancelled, allowing the Bush/Cheney team to remain in power, as they unveil a secret star wars program to ‘fight’ the alien invasion, and expect we minions to embrace their plot. This could become catastrophic. We may need much more than our 72-hour kits to survive this one.
If that happened then surely the aliens know that all humans don’t want a war with them, and they won’t wipe us all out. They’ll have some kind of geneva convention on a galactic or even universal scale.
Did you know there’s also been a prediction for the 7th October for a catatrophic event. The worst we’ve had on the 7th was partial bank colapes in the UK, but that was expected, and we’re going to fix it like they did in the US, or at least try. I think any martial law is more likely to occur due to bank runs and then store looting, but I wonder if aliens do arrive on the 14th whether this will be before or after this happens.
I’ve heard a lot of talk of people accusing others of waiting for aliens to save us, just because someone takes an interest in ufos and the 14th october prediction. I know I don’t expect outside help, but I do feel that something like a large ufo needs to show it’s existence to everyone, to give everyone a kick up the backside. Being optimistic it should work and give people the incentive, but I wouldn’t be surprised if the current economic crisis becomes a flashpoint for terrorists to strike, and we know any retaliation on countries like Iran will be difficult for Russia to stay out of. If we get past all this, and we can’t have some of that anti-gravity technology, then the next problems will involve climate change, water and oil. We all know that won’t end favourably for anyone.
Also China by then will be powerful enough to push the West aside if they aren’t already now.
I’ll be blogging about this prediction each day until it happens…or doesn’t. Today’s entry “Look! Up In The Sky!” advises the reader to plan a response just in case. After all, if everyone is looking at the sky, their eyes won’t be on the road!
I beleive that the mayans knew many things we still can’t explain. Like the crystal skull we still can’t replicate with our modern tools today that was found at a mayan site, and the most perfect and accurate calendar ever found that mentioned a revolutionary event 2012. I have also always felt that someday something big is going to happen, maybe this is it!

Since 7th October prediction didn’t come about, was I not right earlier! Come on corwin155, your message was even after the 7th. I hope in 5 days time an alien ship is hovering above, it would make interesting times, and just because I think it’s not likely it doesn’t mean I’m out of order with anyone on here.
My other comments were quite valid remarks towards what others said, and do you doubt China will have greater power in the future? You should check out economic experts on programs such as BBC newsnight on BBC2 or on BBC iplayer on the internet. For those of you in the US I hope you have an equivalent programme of the same stringent standards, but if you don’t I recommend newsnight from the BBC. Fox news is not useful for gathering anything more than the news headline, and I’ve watched it myself online so that’s from personal experience. Or unless you’d prefer celebrity news as headline instead. I read on abovetopsecret forums that this Monday when UK stock markes collapsed Fox news headlines were about OJ Simpson. I don’t blame the average American for not keeping up to date with the real news, but it’s recommended that you read a lot of news from online news websites. Even for those in the UK, the BBC news 24 channels are not as full a picture as say google news and sky news online. Just my opinion, I would be interested if someone could point out anything incorrect.

Where did I say that… for god’s sake stop using false arguments. Where did I even say one person on here was on drugs. I gave a list of possible explanation for some ufo sightings and included intoxication as one. Are you disagreeing that certain drugs don’t cause hallucinations. I have not said anything untoward towrds any ufo witness, I have not said they were lying about their individual claim, but you have to admit a lot of claims have been proven to be hoaxes. Also they haven’t said anything untowards to me either. Respect is earned, not by trying to find an argument with non-believers, which is what too many religious folk on this website do. So what if I said someone is a god deluder, it’s not half as bad as calling some names. Christianity beliefs such as the age of the earth are incorrect, so how can anyone argue that christianity is 100% the truth, and so I have perfectly every right to say what I did. I am from Australia and in a rather random way I arrived at your site.I’ve got say I am dubious that the Goodchild proclimation will occur on this specific date.I have seen ufos in Australia and the UK (over the crop circle
area of Wiltshire).I also have a friend who has been channeling for most of his 55 years.His name is Dr Jon Sherwood and he is from the UK (www.rajon.com).He was a medic in the New Zealand Navy and is no dummy or sensationalist.Anyway he has had contact with aliens for most of his life.They are a triad from Sirus,Pleides and Andreas-(a planet in the Andromeda Galaxy).The Doc also has a prediction of one of the main Andrean vessels making an appearance soon(a research vessel called ‘Andrea One which is five thousand kilometres long) appearing near Pluto soon.One difference between the Goodchild proclimation and Dr Sherwood is that a true channel will never give a specific time/date for these types of events to occur.One, because as Einstein said ‘time is an illusion’ and also because channeling is interdimensional and it is difficult to calculate time ,when there is no such thing on the ‘other side’.Secondly to give a specific date is a manipulation of people’s free will.

i’ve seen them since the fifties. they would have hurt us by now if they intend to. our world is guided by them. they gave us tv, to teach each other faster. they need us just as much as we need them. they are god. we are god. it we all be made known soon, to everyone on earth. also, as i have come to realize, if you believe in rescue from space, you’re jewish. i have recently learned that the beliefs are the same. and according to religious writings, the chosen ones are saved first. that’s us, alien believers. yah!

I have no doubt that something is coming soon. This year, Spirit gave me visions of blue triangular craft that I saw flying in front of the sun. Spirit kept showing it to me until I understood what I was seeing and calmed down and accepted it - I have had no doubt for years that they were there but still it was mindblowing to be shown the ships! I think I’m ready now.
Anyway, it’s bound to happen soon, and so many people seem to sense it! What an exciting era to be alive in.

I don’t think her prediction is seeing into the future any more than me ringing you up and saying I’ll be arriving at yours on the 14th. Just a different way of making arrangements, than what we conventionally understand presuming that it’s even possible.

As i see it and understand it. Humanity has mean’t to work this out on it’s own.Though I also feel that something big is about to happen, we have progressed to a stage in our existence which is bringing on some kind of awakening..In my heart i would love to see something happen on the 14th just to shake up the complacency and programmed minds of so many.
I dont know what to make of this prediction, however Goodchild is risking her reputation thats for sure.
I cant say ive ever heard of someone giving a prediction so close to the actual event, most curious…most sects(which she is not) will give themselves time to drum up a following.
This makes me fell that goodchild really believes what she has perceived.
So ive been to her site and see that she is not lying…and one thinks that if this doesnt occur she will receive a lot of flak.
It would have been easier for goodchild to not reveal and consequently not “risk” her reputation.
So i hope that this event does occur.
One other thing..ive always believed that such an event will be staged bt the military industrial complex as a ploy to seize more power through fear, i guess we will see, heres hoping that love prevails and the light of knowledge will break the veil of darkness.

Its the 14th here in Australia! No UFO. It’s just a scam to study the reaction and comments of people’s opinions on the matter, see how people deal with the possibility of a Spacecraft from another planet arriving, weather its personal or an organization. Until there is a mass witness to a Spacecraft around the world and videotaped by hundreds of people I’ll never believe. There’s no point. Even the dooms day prediction in 2012. It’s all a scam and those people who have done this are either joking around to scare people. Or to actually study there reactions to it. And now I’m part of it.
I think its sad that we are so fascinated or even excited about the concept of our world ending. including all those things that are supposed to signify the beginning of the end… This really shows how dissapointed we must all feel about the way the world is. Not to say that there isn’t someplace better like Heaven. I believe there is. However, life is a gift. Unfortunately, everything is so horrible on Earth that it makes us ultra curious about what might await us after we die. Personally, Ive always envied people who were alive during important world events: My great grandparents can say they were around during WWII, my grandparents can say they were around during the first space flights. Well…, I can say I was around during the end of the world! lol

Anyway reflecting on this piece of “misinformation” one cant help but think it is harmful, another piece of disinformation so that ufology is put a step back…another kooky prediction.

Well, it is October 14 2008 8:21am here in South Carolina USA and no sign of a UFO anywhere.
I’m afraid that this woman has been talking to the Devil. That’s where this information has been comming from.
Nothing will take place on October 14th and this will discredit those that have believed her and show that she has been misled.
She will feel a sense of hopelessness, shame and despair that she was misled and that she then misled others. That was part of the game that she got involved with and the psychological and biological response they will feel is what the game was all about. It will weaken their auras and enable an attack from dark energy (ie evil energy/spirits).
She should know better that the dark ones can see across time and manipulate thoughts and actions to result in the inevitable outcome that results in an attack.
Its 8:42 am here in florida, and no sign of any ufo’s. As usual a fraud and a publicity stunt.

This post is not intended as the gloat, as I’m sure there are many more qualified people in that department.
Today there are going to be very many disappointed people, so much so that there are bound to be people out there who will feel that ending their lives will be a better option. But for the most it will be a day of sadness, loneliness, anger, frustration …. etc etc. if you believe that any of these things are not true then you won’t have the compassion to understand or believe this and you won’t be living in the real world.
The Victim the best way to sum up the current climate over the past year is best described in one word, and that is uncertainty. From this grows fear, insecurity, hope…….. etc etc just to name a few. We become vulnerable an open to forms of exploitation by others when we want to change things for the better.
The Predator.
When opportunities arrive a predator will look at the weakness of the victim in a developed society we now take it further and look at an individual’s emotional weakness. The predator has only one thing on their mind and that is to prey on the victim for their own satisfaction whether emotional or physical.
The Setup.
A scenario (a Prediction) is created in the mind of the victim, this scenario will have hope, balance, fulfilment…. etc etc as its essence and everyone will want to feed into that this it is just human nature. To enhance the scenario (prediction) you surround it with our current global climate which is fear and uncertainty, this in its own way becomes a perpetuating loop fed on a daily basis. With the basis of this scenario or prediction now set up all the predator has to do is spread the word.
The Trap.
with story set the next stage is to turn that into hard cash. For it to work on a large scale you would need more predators and then the packed instinct comes in to play. The pack leader will set themselves up as the focus as they have the hope and wishes that the victims want. The remainder of the pack will be scattered and moving the victims towards the pack leader. In most cases the vast majority would escape but there will be a few that will fall prey. This cycle is repeated 24/7 constantly.
The Sting/Scam.
the predator will set up a webpage with a prediction for the victim the message will be hope and salvation, and the victim will want to hear this. The predator will say to get further information you will need to pay, not much but enough to make it affordable for the victim, and it will be done in such a way that the victim feels they are helping the predator. Whilst you’re on their site you will be offered other services ranging from hard books, E-books, T-shirts, readings, conference calls, CDs, personal readings, fantasies and false predictions….. etc etc and all of this in the name of “what the victim wants to hear” other websites will also be set up to perpetrate the predator’s message and will always refer back to the original source thus becoming a marketing scam. This will be pushed harder and faster as the date of the prediction draws close and quite literally becomes a feeding frenzy as they want to cash in quickly as their timeframe diminishes.
The Aftermath.
As the predicted day arrives it will be business as usual in the vast majority of people, even those who wanted to believe it. For them it would have been a bit of fun and probably they didn’t take it too seriously. On the other hand there will be people who have taken this dead seriously, and would have made life changing decisions based on this predatory scam, this the amount of misery and destruction that follows this type of event is enormous. Whilst this is not your normal everyday scam fraud generally takes in 1 in 10 people. YES ONE IN TEN! That would be in a country like America of 250,000,000 people, 25,000,000 people who are deceived. Think about how that is on a world scale of 6.5 billion people. You do the math !
Now it would be very interesting to look at a site web traffic and apply some maths.
How do i avoid it ?
The best answer here is understand yourself you know what your hopes and wishes dreams and desires are, that will be your vulnerability. As a prediction manifests itself “think critical” ask yourself what really is the bottom line here. If there is anywhere a suggestion of paying money then it will be a scam. Also understand that if you are taken in by a hoax you will affect other people around you directly. And remember… Its about YOUR cash NOT YOU as a person.

With foreign satellite/cable TV news channels they would have to stop them reporting it, along with domestic channels. If there are lots of witnesses then it WILL find it’s way through on the internet and to lots of off the shelf magazines that will run the story. It’s simply impossible to completely black this out. What about channels like Sci-Fi & Discovery etc? They would want to do a program surely.

Hi Billy! I know you probably dont remember me, Im from your site, found you because my daughter was abducted last year. I heard about this October 14th prediction. Of course Im hopeful because after a lifetime of seeing UFO’s and being an abductee myself I would like answers, but I honestly I feel like nothing will happen. They have never been ones to want to attract attention, so why would they start now? Dan,(& anyone else who has picked on Sci Fi) I know it is easy to pick on Star Trek as it has been the butt of jokes since the first Star Trek Convention but in all fairness what is wrong with people wishing that we could get along with all races on this planet? And by achieving that goal we would then be able to accept other races from other planets.
Until humans of Earth can get along with each other there is no way we would be ready to meet with aliens.
Based on human nature we would shoot first, and if they did want to help us, they would be met with hatred and distrust because they had different colored skin, slanty eyes or worshiped a different God.
Back to Star Trek, I have had the honor to meet hundreds of people through Sci Fi conventions, from all walks of life, various degrees of education and jobs. Children to senior citizens. Their goal was to have fun, help others and believe in the chance of a better world in their lifetime.
I have met Astronauts, Scientists and Engineers who have worked on the space program and TV stars who pretend to be in those fields and they have been kind, caring and concerned with the mess our Earth is in with polution, global warming, and etc.
Much of today’s technology was perfected because of gadgets used on Star Trek, persons in the Sciences and Space Programs, were impressed in their youth by the concept of Star Trek and decided to pursue a career in one of the above mentoned fields.
The general attendees I have met, have very strong religious beliefs, have strong family ties and participate activities for the betterment of mankind. They have held fund raisers for all sorts of organizations such as: Red Cross, Heart Association, Abused Women & Children, Abused Animals, disaster relief, Cancer research and the list goes on and on.
So don’t be so quick to judge persons who love the Sci Fi realm, there are alot of good people out there who wish for the best of human kind and hope for a brighter more tolerable world in the near future rather then in the 23rd century. They are more open to future technologies and true scientific developements then the regular every day person and should be thought of as persons of the future NOT nerds with taped eyeglasses glasses, a pocket protector and Spock Ears!

Yes some ufos are manmade and youtube videos are a rubbish source of evidence, and full of hoaxes of ufos.
That does not prove all ufos are all rubbish Nazi or crude man-made saucers. If you actually understood how to analyse evidence then for a start you’d avoid youtube, and focus on the real evidence we have available for each case. To claim that all ufos are man-made you should provide evidence for each case to show they are all man-made. But since we don’t have the info for around 15% of sightings, we can’t do that, and there’s no point arguing about what they are. They only remain unknown, and you can say most of them will probably be hoaxes, misidentifications or man-made, but it’s simply incorrect to say that they all are.
