October 14 UFO Will Come, but Later

Friday October 17, 2008
As you all are aware of by now, the promised UFO of October 14, did not appear. Blossom Goodchild, who claims to have channeled the information from the Federation of Light, has a new video, in which she apologizes for the failure of the scheduled appearance, and explains that she does not know why this happened.

She also states that the UFO will eventually appear, but no definite date has been given at this time.

Check out the Goodchild apology. Make any comments that you wish on these latest revelations.

I think David Wilcock does an excellent job at explaining why the Oct 14th event could not have happened. Certainly, there will be some who will not agree with his view on UFOs, but I suggest any serious UFO researcher or hobbyist who hasn’t already done so to familiarize themselves with his work. I’m not sure if this link will work when I go to post this, but here is the link to the page on his site that discusses this event:
http://divinecosmos.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=410&Itemid=70

There is some really fascinating information that David has spent a great deal of his life putting together with many sources.

He makes some points about Goodchild and about how if the event did happen, how it would have been the worst thing possible both for her and humanity.. primarily due to timing.

As far as her apology, who am I to judge anybody.. I’m glad she put out another message to put some closure to this which had so many so hopeful.

I’m sorry, she is a crackpot and irresponsible. She should say she was wrong, and move out of the public spotlight. And for those who are making excuses for her on this blog, grow up! She is a nut, made a nutty claim, and should be exposed as such.

Blossom Goodchild said that she did what she thought was right, and I commend her on that, whether the prediction occured or not. I commend her again because she put herself out on a limb, and opened herself up to all kinds of ridicule and shame if what she said would happen didn’t happen. How many of us would be willing to do that? How many of us would be willing to take that kind of a chance, or gamble to do what we thought was right, and knowing that if we failed what we were attempting to do we would be open ridicule and being made fun of? Probably not to many.

She may have been wrong, she may be crazy, but she followed her heart and did something that required a lot of courage and faith, so I applaud her for the risk she took.

To me the sad thing is all those people who really believed her. I read several sites that were constructed just for the Oct. 14 event. Unbelievable how dissappointed those people sound. I’m sure she had her motivation and maybe even believed her own story. But she is well known now. Won’t it be easier for her to sell books now? I would think so.

I highly doubt she’s going to be able to sell MORE books now. People have this need to connect her to money for some reason. Everything about the 14th event was free for everyone. If she was in it for the money she could have easily charged folks to read the channelings leading up to the event. Then she would have made a buck.

Also, Billy, you have to listen closer. Your post here says she said they would show up again. SHE didn’t say that… what she said is that people are sending her mail saying this. Let’s not try to further her humiliation by indicating she said something she didn’t.

I’m amazed at how many people would kick a fellow human when they’re down. It’s no wonder there’s been no public contact. We can’t even respect other people’s points of view.

How many times have you told someone something you thought was true only to find out it wasn’t? Do you somehow hold her to higher standards than you hold yourself? She did what she thought was right. And then when she was wrong she had the personal integrity to show up with another video and apologize. A large majority of folks would be so humiliated they wouldn’t show their face again but she stood up and was accountable. Would you be able to do that? Honestly, I doubt you will even correct the error in your post.

Finally, have some decency man and stop bringing this topic up. It’s apparent you’re only doing so in an effort to say “neener neener I was right and you were wrong… neener neener.” Grow up man!

Correcting my error: Your post doesn’t say they’ll show up “again.”

Your post reads: “She also states that the UFO will eventually appear, but no definite date has been given at this time.”

What she actually says: “I apologize.. for raising hopes… but then many people have said that I’ve raised hopes and love and brought people together and that they will come at another time. I don’t know… I don’t know what to make of this whole thing…”

I wouldn’t want to hold you to standards I couldn’t hold myself to.

Sadly Blossom looked quite bewildered and confused as you would be if you truly believed you had been given a message for the world and it didnt come true. Hearing about channeling was new to me but you know it is another persons experience so you tend to be openminded. So she was genuine or fake or misled. All I know is ufo and other entities are around us and have been a long time. If someone comes along to boldly predict something on a mass scale is coming and is blatantly lying to a lot of people then it has to be criminal abuse of the internet.

(8) John says:

It’s called fraud is she tries makes money from a lie, regardless of whether the Internet was used or not.

Another possiblity you didn’t mention was that she might be ill, which is something we know happens to people who end up in psychiatric wards. People there hear voices and think it’s god or aliens talking to them. Since they’ve been characterised as crazy, then it’s likely anyone who hears voices will also be crazy, as it’s a well documented condition. I think by occam-razor principles you have to look at the obvious first before even thinking that she channeled an alien or spirit.

(9) Kevin says:

Problem is she channels. If your a God fearing person, which most of the world is, the bible strickly prohibits it! This is serious stuff here! She was wrong, period! And she shouldn’t be doing it in the first place. So yes she deserves to be spanked. It’s not to unsimilar to “a comet fly by will take us to higher place”(Or whatever it was he told them). I’m sure that if she had said that she was told to commit suicide at dawn and they will take you home, some would have done it. People are so gullable and our lonelyness on this planet can cause them to follow all kinds of kooky stuff. I think she may have underestimated the magnitude of what it became. Bottom line, I agree with John. I think they call it schizophrenia, amoung other things.

I guess if Blossom keeps changing the date, she bound to be right someday….

(11) bhaskar says:

I believe blossom has made predictions based on some dream that she must have had. I wish to correct her that dreams can also be shattered . So no fun with dreams plz … she will have to stop dreaming and put something concrete that will guide the world.

Are you guys serious? If you believed this crackpot from the beginning then you are an idiot. Does Jesus talk to her too? Wake up people there is no UFO coming to visit earth. I know you would like to believe but start worrying about our own existence.

Sorry, I had to laugh again.

That was a funny joke. Go ahead, laugh out loud. A new study from the University of Maryland Medical Center has shown that laughter, along with a healthy sense of humor is good for your heart. Maybe we can put some Tommy Cooper jokes in it as well ?

A man takes his Rottweiler to the vet.

“My dog’s cross-eyed, is there anything you can do for him? ”

“Well,” says the vet, “let’s have a look at him”

So he picks the dog up and examines his eyes, then checks his teeth.

Finally, he says “I’m going to have to put him down.”

“What? Because he’s cross-eyed? ”

“No, because he’s really heavy”

(15) Sitbyme says:

I read a few other Channlers that claimed the same thing. Mike Quinsey & Suzy Ward are very well known. Mike says his sources tell us that we were not ready for this and it would have upset too many on earth that are like the fear mongers that think they want to do us harm so they aborted the mission. It is not Blossom’s fault at all.

Suzy says it never was a plan but if they thought we would be in danger it would be put off until we were ready for it. That’s what happened.

Too many religions still believe there is no other life out there and that should change soon. The truth will come out before 2012.

Thank you Blossom for your openness and I still believe you are very good at what you do. Please don’t stop because of these other folks that can’t see the future and can’t get out of duality to Know all life is connected!
