Some of our readers may have heard of this, but in case you haven't, I think we all could benefit from a new corroborative effort by UFO buffs to encourage the government to let us in on what they know about UFOs.
The "Million Fax on Washington" hopes to motivate the American people to send, between November 5, 2008, and January 20, 2009, one million letters, faxes, and emails to President Elect Obama calling for him to:
1) Demand and receive a full briefing by his military services and intelligence agencies regarding the extraterrestrial presence and related phenomena.
2) Support convening congressional hearings to take testimony from scores of former military and agency employees regarding extraterrestrial phenomena, and
3) Formally acknowledge to the American people the extraterrestrial presence.

Does anyone know Obama’s opinions regarding UFO’s?
Yes not so good, because he really just doesn’t no yet, when he finds out, things are going to change. Keep your eyes and ears open you may see some of those settle changes. Also lots of luck with those letters and faxes keep them coming.
1) It may already be planned that he receive “the briefing” - he should be briefed.
2) They’re not going to talk. Why would they? They’re too concerned with their financial situation – and rightly so.
And, why do they need to talk? Numbers 1) and 3) preclude the necessity from “former military and agency employees” to testify. The ET presence does not exist in a vacuum. Scores of government entities are already involved in exercises surrounding their presence. Furthermore, they do not need to talk if the government acts on 3) below.
3) In addition, full amnesty will be required for 3) to occur. Full disclosure is the preferred ideal but that also is not going to happen since it would reveal military secrets, which I am not a proponent of.
If this corroborative effort is not a joke, and is to be taken seriously, I would suggest that the questions to be posed be re-drafted.
This was tried before by both Carter and Clinton. The CIA will not give in. The president does not have the “need” to know. The presuure has to come from both the military and those who do want disclosure in the CIA. The old boys will not let it happen.
I was actually already thinking of writing to him about this, but I have no idea on how to get the request to Obama without it getting stopped or thrown out before he would even get to see it. How can I or we get something to Obama and know that he will actually get to read it?
Don’t you guys have nothing else to do then thinking about UFO’s that do nothing for the entire world ? The whole financial system is about to collapse and no alien is cared about it whatsoever. Get over it. It has no use. Get cracking and help other people who are in trouble instead of looking upstairs instead of wasting time on things that will not be answered.

Hahaha so a believer in god is telling other people not to waste time believing in mystical higher powers.
There’s a process called multi-tasking which any intelligent person is capable of, and any president should be capable of. Obama can do more than help the financial crisis, and for the public to be fuss-pots over it does nothing at all! It’s a bit like your multiple tasking of praying to god and annoying anyone who doesn’t believe in it, except that you have no real purpose beyond your own delusions.
Just respect other people’s opinions and not try and cloud everyone else’s mind with your psychological disaster.
And before you start going on about your god again I would like to remind you that this particular forum is not religious in nature and so you would be best trying elsewhere to indoctrinate people.

You know, when Obama met with Bush the other day to begin briefings, the first thing that popped into my head was Area 51.
If I were ever in a position of power- ie President- I’m such a geek the first thing I would want to do would be to go there!
it wouldn’t surprise me if he goes along with it. He’s pretty stupid. He’ll pull the troops out of Iraq causing chaos. Then he’ll start talking about UFOs to the american people. Meanwhile the stock market will hit great depression levels.
This is a new prediction and this will be happening not so long from now. Obama will never talk about UFO’s, never disclose anything, never discuss it with others who believe in it. Ever !!
Obama has a complete full itinerary to deal with, instead of looking upstairs in the rose garden of the White House to UFO’s in the sky.
This will go EXACTLY as I have said. Today is November 13th, 2008. Start counting down to December and watch the total collapse of the US and the UK, which will trigger through EUROPE and will steep us in WWIII with 10 European countries in the lead about this. This is the truth and WILL happen. Whether you like this or not.
Nobody made a prediction about Obama disclosing UFOs. This article is stating that there is a challenge to send 1 million faxes to him, not predicting anything specific.
Where do you get your information for these predictions about WW3? I know things are bad and at times I feel this may be possibly about to happen, but we should be more optimistic.

If a government keeps away something from their people, they have very good reasons to do it. Imagine, a US predident published launch codes of of American nuclear missiles.
During the cold war, the UFO topic was kept secret, since nobody knew if they dealt with a spy-craft of the enemy side. When cold war ended, UFO-secrecy ended too and near all countries released their UFO-files to the public - or are in middle of doing that. (America included) However, past UFO-secrecy left behind a horrendous legacy: A multi-billion UFO/conspiracy publishing industry, that fooled people to an extent, where even crimes and mass-suicides [Heavens-Gate case] occured. To avoid further disruptions, the dislosure process must be carried out in a very cautious manner. Exactly, what we have.
