On the Tube-In Search of Aliens

Saturday November 22, 2008
Next Monday, November 24, CNN will begin airing a five day special titled, "In Search of Aliens." You will either have to get up early, or set your recorder for 6:00 AM EST, but this should be worth it. The show is divided into five different subjects.

Monday-"Not Just Crazies," includes an interview with Astronaut Edgar Mitchell, among others.

Tuesday-"Roswell Revisited," another look at the Roswell Crash.

Wednesday-"Close Encounters," a look at the alien abduction phenomena.

Thursday-"Call 1-800-Alien... Please," a look at the SETI program.

Friday-"The Mars Worm," a look at our NASA program.

You can see a video preview of the show at CNN-In Search of Aliens.

Sorry, I want to watch it but… I’m thinking it’s going to be more of the same. They will most likely be vague and talk about the same thing the history channel, Natgeo, the science channel etc… have all been showing for the past 10 years.

I will watch it though. I just know I’ll probably get bored.

If you do want to watch it…it is on at 3am on the west coast, too; and the series is airing on a CNN show called “American Morning” (in case you’re setting your Tivo to watch these). Thanks, Billy!

ain’t gettin up that early for the show but get back to us on where to find the transcript. I think the Dr. Edgar Mitchell interview would be really interesting. I enjoyed the article you did on him. I think this guy is someone to watch. He has the something to lose by this, he was born in New Mexico and people are confiding in him about the roswell event. His education, work experience and character are impeccable. And he was not only able to get an interview with the CIA, but they told him that indeed that Roswell was a true event. That’s a smoking gun as far as I’m concerened. As good as it gets. I don’t know about the rest of you but I see the cracks in the government coverup getting bigger. How long until it falls? Probably within our lifetime the coverup will cease to exist. Hang onto your hat.

Well, you don’t have to tivo it or stay up, just look for it on youtube or ufocasebook. The first segment is already up. Anyway, the first one was interesting as they actually gave the subject more credibility by talking about it without mocking it SO much (altho I wasn’t partial to the X-Files music or the laughter at the end at the lame joke). Not to mention an interesting tidbit of information I posted in comments on the Obama and UFOs thread: Postada (Obama’s head of transition team) has called for disclosure recently, even going so far as to say it’s “the law.” Just some interesting food for thought there…

I think it is time for everyone, including skeptics, to just “observe”. How many of us have seen something? How many of us have had the courage (yeah, it takes a whole bunch of it) to make it public? How many of us have PROOF that it’s really happening? I have spent too many years of my life watching this happening. I’ve decided to blog about what I’ve been finding. Feel free to take a look, comment. Oh and by the way, it is ad-free.

Way to go, CNN!
