Tractor Ride Turns Frightening
A man, his wife, and child were visiting the wife's father's place near Lake Medina, which is near San Antonio. Enjoying the country atmosphere, the man took his young daughter on a tractor ride through the woods near his father-in-law's house.
The young girl, who was sitting in her father's lap, pointed into the sky, and told her father to look up. He saw an unknown, flying object about 100 yards distant from them, and only 30 feet above the ground.
The man was absolutely amazed, and his daughter was extremely frightened by the disc-shaped object sitting silently in the air. The object had no identifying marks, windows, or lights. They did notice a slightly acidic odor at the time.
The witness described the UFO as being about 15 feet from side to side, and only about 5-6 feet in height. As they looked in shock at the object, it simply and utterly disappeared. They went back to the house, and excitedly told the rest of their family members what they had seen. No one believed their story.
There have been a number of reports of an unusual smell or odor present at UFO sightings. What could this be attributed to?

I really don’t have a thought on what the odor could be from but do wonder about a few other things. Assuming they’re being truthful I wonder (1) was the object actually there or just a projection? (2) did it disappear because it left to quickly to be seen? (3) was the object still there but no longer visible? Seems like a credible sighting to me…lucky them if so.

me think smell is aliens pee their pants and sitting in durrty pee pants while they pilut saucer craft no im not joking this very serius matter lol but seriously me have heard that sulfur is a by product of electrical charge like lightning and also sulfur is smelled a lot by ghost hunters also demons smell like sulfur smell i dont know which one you like believe but me not trust aliens they want to make kill or make us slaves they release pig flu to slay a third part of mankind ok have nice day

I’ve also had smell it when I had my encounter in San Diego in “97″.
I thought it was the ocean but come to find out it was this alien craft
that was emitting that same smell. like they said, that sulfer smell.

I don’t know what an “acidic” smell would be like. Is it anything like sulphur? I’m familiar with some reports of ufos, aliens and ghosts smelling of sulphur. Perhaps they originate from the same source – another dimension – and pop into our reality when it suits them.
I have much reason to believe Spirits and UFO’s are one and the same. They are likely entities/Energy beings who can assume any form they want. Thus they are not machines.
There is little evidence to prove UFO’s come from space/product of any technology even if we know they are real. They may very well live only here. I’d go as far as to say it’s scientifically more likely.

I have very strong reasons to believe that plasma has something to do with UFOs.
Plasma do have small aroma and smell like nasturtium flower. Not strong smell.
This may be a probe based on the size. In many cases probes are radio active. I hope these people were not harmed. I certainly have not problem believing them.

I have 3 pieces of a subposed UFO that crashed in Roswell, have had them over 50 years, they do not smell of anything. As an Engineer, I would suppose thier engine was idling, probably not properly tuned, thus fumes were being dejected. The bit about total dissapearance bothers me. Why did they not approach the craft and look for markings.
Re the odor emitting from UFOs: It has previously been suggested that UFOs ionize the air around them as a buffer to protect themselves from the friction of high speed travel through the atomsphere. Ths odor may result from that process. (While not mentioned recently, reports from years past indicated residue “ropes” found lying on the ground and running for considerable distances following the appearance of a UFO. Such residue– ionized air product?– was weightless and would readily crumble and dissolve in a short period of time, but not before being captured in a few pictures from that era. A few samples were also gathered, but I don’t recall seeing an analysis of that material.) Likewise, plasma emmitted from their propulsion system may also count for the odor, as well as the intense light typically reported in sightings.

About the story: a 100 yards if not very far to spot something in the sky, especially a UFO. Why did the little girl spot before her parents? Obviously, her father on whose lap she was sitting wasn’t busy doing something. Why bring up the little girl, to throw in a little innocence into a … perhaps … fake story?
In response to the video I saw – the interview with Bob White, I really don’t know what to say. I have not seen this item nor have I investigated the other find that was supposed to have been found many years earlier, which was almost identical to the item he found. I really need to investigate all of this in detail partly because I am interested and partly because it is the way I investigate things. Having had several ‘peculiar’ experiences in my life, I can appreciate everyone’s reaction to this.
What intrigues me is, “why would an alien craft leave such a thing behind?”
Some of the other comments, such as, “…farts” are absolutely ridiculous and an insult to people who really want to know the truth behind this.
To speculate at this stage, I would come to another conclusion, ie., that they may be some sort of honing items left in certain spots on our planet, very much like some sort of scanning implement used nowadays by Governments, Defence Systems, or even just normal Infrastructures such as transport departments controlling and supervising movements of vehicles and persons, on our roads, only in this case it(they in formation?) may be used to gather information about the earth, the way it is reacting underground as well as changing weather conditions, to determine how bad our global warming is. And, then again, who knows, maybe we have been warned long enough not to use the weapons our scientists have created, weapons which may have a very negative effect upon the rest of the Universe and Solar System and some alien authority is getting ready to annihilate us by causing these global warming effects to start the ball rolling towards mass destruction of landmasses, people and life in general upon our little planet. Mind you, if any of this is remotely close to the truth, there would be nothing I could do but keep on living as best as I can. There is always hope that some spark of sympathy would change things.
I would be more inclined to investigate if any other such items have been found, and track the places they were dropped.
I am no expert in such matters, but it sounds more reasonable to assume that these items have some sort of usage aiding some beings, gather information if not negative then beneficial. Whatever the reason, I don’t think that the comment, “…fart” can be taken serious. Can machines, or cyber creations be responsible for any of this?
As I said, I am no expert, thus can only speculate on some of the alternatives pheasable.
