UFO Sighting Reports from the UK

Thursday May 21, 2009
This week, we will take a look at some sightings from Great Britain. We have four reports, and I think you will find them interesting. I received all of them within a 7 day span.

The first report comes from a man in Welton, who saw a UFO over his village. The second report was published by the Tavistock Today newspaper, and relates a sighting from a Mrs. Cockayne and her walking companion.

The third report comes from an about.com reader in Somerset, who saw a UFO along with his wife, and a friend. They saw a bright, orange object move over Glastonbury Tor. Our last report comes from a man who saw a number of unknown objects. He states that an orange object morphed into a white object.

Check these out in detail at UFO Sighting Reports, 05-21-09, and don't forget to keep your eyes on the skies.

I live in Johannesburg South Africa and last night i witnessed 3 orange orbs flying over jo’burg. There was air-traffic at the time so we had a reference point. They were in formation for about 10 minutes, they stopped overhead, moved upwards and then disapeared.
I am a sceptic but this was very peculiar.

Regarding this week’s reports of sightings:

Point # 1 .
The following recommendation to the report from the UK, as follows:

Great Britain - 05-03-09 - “I had just arrived home etc, etc, etc.”.

Why not leave out paragraph # 6 completely. Excuses for no pictures only lead experienced readers on this site to interpret that the forgoing paragraphs are worthless, and that you probably saw nothing.
(had camcorder, had taken other pictures, no battery power left—Baloney for Pete’s sake ! ). Go peddle your hallucinations to the smokers.

Point # 2,

Regarding the point about MOD not looking into reports unless there is sign of hostile military action placing the country in jeopardy. This not true. Acquaintances of mine who are senior Air Traffic controllers of many years experience tell me the UK Government and military are extremely interested in UFO reports and each report is extensively and thoroughly investigated and recorded.

Point # 3.

Great Britain - 05-03-09 - “I looked into the distance and saw a orange dot fly up etc, etc, etc.”.
Dots moving around in the night sky. Don’t get excited. Haven’t you ever seen the Martians on a road tour playing tag, trying to challenge and tempt the air force to dare to get into their game? (Were you smoking when you saw this)?

PS. - MUFON just love reports like these. They are so clear and significant, and so unquestionably vital. They add so importantly to their vast resources and significant inventory of top rated and unique witness reports on UFO activity.

I can’t argue with you K.J. because I know you are right. My only excuse is that I have become caustically sarcastic sometimes, unfortunately, about postings by some witnesses on this website. For so many years, I have taken the puzzle about UFO activity so seriously that my patience has become terribly worn and tested to the point of utter frustration by comments from some witnesses who report sightings that are so mundane and childish that I become very irritated and annoyed. I realize it is very impolite and very bad manners to react the way I do. I regret my obvious disregard for tolerance with some reports but I just can’t help but retaliate sometimes having wasted valuable time reading such depressingly mediocre and unimportant observations. I accept, and appreciate your reprimand.
