UFO Guide Interviews Nick Pope

By , About.com GuideAugust 2, 2009

Follow me on:

On July 20, 2009, we discussed What Made a Believer out of Pope. This made reference to some comments made by UFO researcher Nick Pope in a recent interview he did on Fox News. His comments spawned a lot of discussion across the Net.

Since that time, I have had a chance to talk to Mr. Pope, and have created an article from our discussion. In the session, Mr. Pope expounds on a specific UFO photograph which "... had officials worried," among other topics.

Check out my article at UFO Guide Interviews Nick Pope, and be sure to comment as you wish.

Either Mr. Pope is a puppet or he is not really “in the know” like he claims. The only good thing he said was about our “understanding” of the laws of physics and how that will always change…..

I spoke to Mr. Pope via email and he seems to be both a gentleman and a scholar.

The information about the ‘missing’ photographs comprises the clearest admission that we might be dealing with Alien vehicles that has come via any government ( that I know of).
In the light of this there will, no doubt, be many who attempt to put this down to black ops or a fancy kite.
I ask you all, sincerely, what sort of evidence would you require to be convinced that an Alien vehicle did visit?

The clearest and most profound UFO pictures are always confiscated.

The powers that be do not want the general public to ask:

“hey, what is that?”

I have notice that if a nice clear picture is shown, people claim it’s fake and that someone did it on photoshop. If they post a fuzzy picture then the same people claim is a phoney. So my conclusion is no matter what people are shown they would rather pick it apart then accept that there are “visitors” here.

After what I saw in 1969 in Reno,Nevada I don’t need a piece of anything. we (5) of us also had 2 hours of missing time. I was in the driver seat and it got so close the car wouldn’t start and I could see the surface very clearly. Like brushed aluminum or something. It was about thirty or fifty feet across, oval windows with red light so because it was spinning the windows were difficult to see. weird. have had other things happen too. strange, what if rods are just part of a bigger thing and we just can’t see it. ??? Deep thoughts.

I really don’t think there’s anything to missing photos. There’s too many reasons photos can be missing; coupled with the fact that’s just too suspicious. Plus it’s far too easy to alter them or substitute fakes. The whole world has been doing it since at least WWII. Photographic proof is dead. Just face up to it. I can remember reading about one guy in 60’s, I believe it was, who claimed he had indisputable proof of a an alien space craft, because he had taken the picture with his Polaroid camera, which was considered to be un-fakable, at the time. This until he showed the world how to make a fake photo with one.

(11) Gadrannanna says:

Whether the photographs are missing or not is unimportant in this case: The Defence Intelligence report is, presumably, real and the likeklihood of them being duped by a hoax is, hopefully, small.

Please do not think I am neglecting you on this, your most interesting and intriguing point to date. I think this is a most serious matter, and that is why I am giving much thought to the answer. I hope to give you as concise and thorough response as possible. I am also strongly considering leaving this site soon, as my purpose here seems to be mostly fulfilled. I just need to tie up some loose ends. Please be patient. I hope to be back on this page within a few days.

Augustus,

Acknowledged.

I await your considered response.

And thankyou for your appreciation: maybe this diamond sighting is a red herring but I stand by my comments so far.

Very glad to see another article on Nick Pope expanding his interview with Billy Booth the Host and official Guide to UFO. It adds a high degree of credence to the authenticity of this man and emphasizes the importance of his important connection and invaluable service to the Admiralty and to th British HOC London. My compliments to the Host.

Are you crazy?

“The powers that be do not want the general public to ask” a lot more than, “hey, what is that?”

They don’t want you to be troublesome or curious or even … even interested in a lot, I mean, a lot of things.

So, go pay your taxes and support world domination and be a good little citizen.

Message brought to you by the people of Honduras.

Gadrannanna:

Re: (5) – As for me personally, I think it would take about 3 years living on their planet and observing their culture, rather like Marco Polo did during his visit to China. (Of course, I know such a thing would never happen, even if it were possible, because my or anybody else’s report on returning would not be generally believed just like Mr. Polo’s wasn’t, and since I have no special abilities that would make such a trip a worthwhile investment.) My reasons ares follows:

A.) I have been researching unexplained phenomena as a hobby ever since I can remember, and with extremely rare exceptions have been able find a suitable, rational, and usually mundane explanation. It seems that UFO’s are no exception to the rule. As Mr. Pope said, only about 5% of reports continue to be “unidentified”. I believe he is being honest and accurate in this, and it is on a par with about any other category of human experience. No matter what we experience in life, on average it seems, there will always at least, be that much that will never be explained or identified; therefore, unidentified, anythings, cause me no alarm. (I still can’t account for some unmatched socks in my dresser drawer. lol).

I thought, “Please stand by for a long, detailed message in fourteen parts” was a joke, like something from the government.

But, you’re serious?
