UFO Landings - The Best Cases

Follow me on:

Has a UFO ever landed on our planet? The answer to this question just might surprise you. Although the aliens have never landed on the White House lawn, or some major city in the world, there are some very well documented, and researched cases that show that other-worldly craft have set their landing gear on terra firma.

Check out my latest multi-part article, UFO Landings, The Best Cases. Some of these reports also involve direct contact with strange beings, and some highly advanced technology. Please comment as you wish.

Billy,

well it just shows to go you that the age old wisdoms still ring true…

NEVER TAUNT A UFO…

(this includes flashing gazillion watt lights at it, lol)

NEVER WALK DIRECTLY UNDERNEATH A UFO…

(this increases the likelihood of being probed in an undesirable manner)

NEVER VOLUNTEER TO GO INSIDE A UFO…

(the old rule about never volunteer for anything is especially appropriate in this case!)

I have read of a number of people who claimed to be from the Pleiades, or the scions of Pleiadian parents, but in all cases those people turned out to be very mundane Homo sapiens.

The Pleiades would be a very unlikely area for an advanced civilization to hail from – to begin with, the Pleiades actually describes a cluster of 7 stars (Messier Catalog M45) that are all very young, hot class B stars. The spectra of these stars are high in ultraviolet light, which would make them inimical to any life forms which would be comparable with hominids.

The age of this group of stars is 100,000,000 years or less, far too short a time for life to develop and evolve into a sophisticated culture capable of travel to distant stars. It has taken 3.8 billion years for life here on Earth to evolve from single-cell organisms to our present form, and we have yet to take space travel beyond a few very risky flights to the moon.

If one wishes to believe that they come from someplace else, then well and good – that’s their choice. But I personally doubt very seriously that everyone who claims to be from some distant star actually is ET. It’s far more likely that they like to fantasize about being ET in order to feel special or exotic.

That having been said, in my mind the two top contenders for genuine alien landings are the Socorro, NM sighting and the RAF Bentwaters series of encounters. A number of others, enumerated in Billy’s very well researched treatise, definitely rate serious consideration.

In the Socorro case, Lonnie Zamora had a clear look at the object he reported, and physical trace evidence of its existence was found at the landing site. Debunkers have said that what Mr. Zamora actually saw was a test of a prototype lunar excursion module (LEM) under development for the Apollo missions. The detractors claim that it was actually tethered to a helicopter for the purpose of transporting it to the test area.

However, Mr. Zamora NEVER mentioned a helicopter or any other flying craft – he described an ovoid craft that was not accompanied by any other type of craft, and which had at least two occupants which he saw moving around.

Mr. Zamora also described the departure of the object under its own power, with no helicopter or other flying craft in sight. None of the information reported by Mr. Zamora would fit with the story that the object was actually a test model of a LEM being carried by a helicopter.

For that matter, a powered prototype LEM would not only have been quite unfeasible at that point in time, but would have left very obvious evidence of its origins at the site. Plus, recall that it is documented that the FIRST time that ANY ascent engine for the Apollo lunar crew module was fired was on July 20, 1969 when Neal Armstrong fired the Eagle’s ascent engine.

The RAF Bentwaters case is virtually ironclad. It has many qualified first-hand witnesses and an actual recording made by Col. Charles Halt during the encounter. The colonel’s voice displays very obvious signs of bewilderment and a little fear, and his account of the incident has remained consistent for almost 30 years.

I am convinced that Col. Halt and the other personnel saw either an actual ET craft (possibly a remotely-operated or autonomous probe) or a terrestrial, highly advanced and Deep Black craft that was under the operation of some national governmental agency.
