As we near the end of another decade, let's look back at some of the most compelling cases of UFOs, alien encounters, and other events that helped define the past ten years.
The cases were my own picks, and may not agree with yours, and certainly not with some other Ufologists. I think you find that the ones I chose do represent a good cross section of some of the best UFO events of 2000-2009.
See the four-part article at A Decade in Review - Memorable UFO Events, 2000-2009. I hope you enjoy the journey, and be sure to comment as you see fit.

I can go along with almost all of those cases. I know it is difficult to pick and choose the best of each year.

What do you make of the UK Ministry of Defense decision to eliminate its UFO Office?

Wednesday you will see a blog about it. I think, just like Nick Pope, that it is a big mistake. I also think that just because the UFO section is closed “officially,” they will still investigate major reports.
Someone has to, they can’t just forget about UFOs. There are a couple of cases from GB’s past they never finished investigating, in my opinion.
jeez i wouldn’t disagree with a man of edgar mitchells background.
On November 23 (2 weeks ago) at about 5:45 p.m., I was at work. I live and work just northeast of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and at this time of the year it is dark outside by this time. I walked outside to wait for a pizza delivery, and immediately noticed two objects I at first thought were stars.
But they were lower than the other stars, brighter, and each was sitting at the same altitude as the other. The one on the left began to MOVE to the left, slowly. Then the one on the right also started to move, to the right.
They moved away from each other for about three or four seconds, then sped off, out and up until they were out of my range of sight. There were no flashing lights, no noises, and no afterburners. They sped off so fast that I KNEW they weren’t man-made. I’ve always believed in alien life, and now I have personal proof. I won’t even call them U.F.O.s, because I know they weren’t from our planet, no way! I’ve replayed this short but amazing sighting over and over again, in my mind, since I saw them. Unforgettable experience! I’d like to know if there were any other sightings similar to mine on the same day, anywhere in the northeastern U.S. or in Ontario. Thank you for taking the time to read my post.
Thanks a lot to Baddy… for posting his report. Very interesting.
hmmmm…
lets face it, 37M a year is next to ZILCH when it comes to bureaucratic budgets!
what was the MOD UFO office?
an answering machine and a yahoo email address?!
lets face it, the reason they had close it down was bcuz:
THERE IS CURRENTLY A UFO WAVE SO BIG THE BUDGET COULDNT HANDLE IT!
i dont get why all these ufologists have their panties in a bunch over an infinitesimal little UK office?
do they think UFOs are gonna go away?
people who study UFOs should be confident of one thing:
the phenomena will get larger and larger, and
what with the darwinists proclaiming an “ALIEN DNA SEEDER” as part of their theories,
UFOs are a BIG PART of the NWO!!!
eventually ALIENS WILL BECOME A PART OF MAINSTREAM THEOLOGY OF ALL FAITHS…
because ALIEN THEOLOGY IS DECOUPLED FROM ANY SEMBLANCE OF MORALITY…
eventually, we will see the
VATICAN ENDORSE AND PROCLAIM a STAR CHILD AS THE NEW MESSIAH,
and tell us that we should receive HIS MARK (number) on our forehead or hand…
what is his number?
666…
I’m of the opinion that the closing of this Office is along the same lines as the closing of Project Blue Book – it’s for public consumption only. Very possibly the nature of the information that was being developed was such that continuing to publicize investigations was going to result in inadvertant disclosure of something they want kept quiet.
The real investigation will continue behind closed doors and under black cover, and the existence of any continuing investigation will be denied.
