UFO Sighting Reports

By , About.com Guide   January 28, 2010

Follow me on:

Welcome to this week's UFO sighting reports. We have four reports from the state of California. The first report comes from the city of Carlsbad, where a blue-colored UFO was seen. It had no navigational lights.

Our last three reports all involve orbs. Our second report relates a sighting by six family members. Our third report involves multiple orbs, finally three of them formed a triangle.

Finally, we have a report from a man whose wife woke him up to check out an unknown object seen over the Ventura Beach.

Check the full details of these reports at UFO Sighting Reports, 01-28-10, and don't forget to keep your eyes on the skies.

(1) Maff says:

Billy’s introduction up there has made me think: the flashing lights seen on UFOs are assumed to be ‘navigational lights’ similar to those on our own aircraft, and they might be just that, but why would such an advanced craft need silly flashing lights to warn others of its presence? Wouldn’t these craft be able to detect each other, so as to avoid crashing into one another, by better methods than visible light? And if the lights are not for navigational purposes, what are they for?

Also, if the UFOs and their occupants are here secretly, as is generally assumed, it might be an idea for them to turn these lights off for the duration of their visits to Earth, as it makes them far more obtrusive than they would otherwise be.

None of it really makes much sense – yet another enigma about these strange vehicles.

i don’t beleive they are navagation lights but maybe communication and informational lights for their own purposes. just a theory that has been done before. strange happenings for sure.

(4) Pedro says:

These lights that are blinking are for hypnotic trance inducing purposes-

the specific sequence of the lights as well as the color of the lights make thee persons mind more pliable, and easier to influence-

this will facilitate future abductions, whether the abductees are able to remember or not.

This UFO business really got me very mad, to the point that I contacted my attorney to see if there is a point to file a discrimination class action suit against the extraterrestrials.

How come they show up all over Russia, Norway, the US, Australia, Tasmania, etc. but in Boynton Beach NADA, SIPO.

In Boynton we have nice beaches full of female earthlings in very small bikinis, excellent restaurants, moderate price shopping centers, etc. We are getting discriminated and we are out the loop. I have not seen one and I go out at night to see at least a small one.

We are not asking for a full display just something that we can photograph and show to our friends. Please !!!

To Maff : I have written about this, here, in the past. Navigation lights are unnecessary. If the aliens don’t want us to see them, they don’t need to advertise using illumination. If they need lighting at all, why the different colors? Also, you mention that the whole thing makes no sense, but it really does if you think about it Maff…and if you’re as bonkers as the rest of the other UFO disciples are. Dissolve two Aspirins in ten ounces of Schmirnoff’s and get educated.

To Pedro : The flashing lights are to let each other know the way to the nearest taco bell.

To Jaspergary : You are correct. They are using the lights for communication and informational purposes, but it doesn’t fool our space scientists who already understand Semaphore. NASA broke the code a few years ago.

Rick : Beautiful sandy beaches crowded with fair damsels are of no interest to the aliens. Boynton needs to erect a few fast food fly-thrus specializing in frozen mustard sundaes with dill pickle sprinkles and Liederkranz cheese. They are real “chowhounds”.

billy j rachels : They have read your notice and will attend the thomasville ga public library meeting. You’ll recognize them by their extra large sun glasses and stylish high heels. Also they all carry GPS devices so they can find the washrooms.

Beaudellaire Gavot?Hum,. oh please you just gotta make fun so you must be pretty low on the totom pole.Maybe you should really go to the meetings. You might learn something.I am a white female and, please I am sure you run to taco bell or maybe okie food.I personally like both and I believe in ufos and I respect what others write.I bet they have even flown over Boynton Beach just at the wrong times. We all have to sleep sometimes. To see them is a very wonderful experience. Also I think they use there lights to make it look like they are one of us and maybe to tease us also.I just wish I could see orbs haven’t seen those yet.Anyway thank you Billy for all your hard work.I just wish you could have the experience to see what so many of us has seen. You have so much faith in what you do. Not all believe until we see.

(9) jo says:

let’s get something straight, NO ONE KNOWS. Im sick of the comments from people like Akroyd who think they have all the answers…they don’t, no one does!

(10) Beaudellaire Gavot. says:

To Igranados: – Can’t you accept a little levity on this subject? I don’t mean to criticize anyone in a disapproving way. I’m just as interested in UFO’s as you are only most of what I read on the subject now is rather stale, mediocre and boring. You can’t blame me too much. I’ve been at it since 1947. Isn’t it good to just take a little break once in a while?

And “jo” – Don’t be too hard on our guy Akroyd. He’s a devout UFO’er. (Unidentified Fried Onion). He always has a lot to say, but we love him.

(11) Frank says:

It has been reported previously that the flashing lights may be heat exhausted in the visible light range from the craft’s electro-magnetic propulsion system with control units located around the perimeter of the craft. The color variations may be due to changes in intensity generated by the system control unit as it counters Earth’s gravity, as well as regulating and propelling the craft.

Considering that the aliens seem to possess and use telepathic communications it would seem that semaphore and Morse code-type communications would be both incredibly outmoded and unnecessary. Such craft-to-craft communication would more likely consist of speed-of-light digital burst-type data transfers, not flashes.

(12) Frank says:

An addendum: Prior reports describe the use of blue-white gravity-defying “tractor beams” by UFOs that appear to be used variously to pick up animals, draw water, etc., as well as people, which are lifted up to and taken aboard the craft hovering overhead, then lowered afterward to Earth. Similar beams have been reported seen emitting from the bottom of the craft and extending downward for a specific distance, where they appear to terminate– behaving very much unlike a conventional beam of light as we understand it. These beams also do not spread but maintain their uniform size and shape like a lazer, as well as brillance. Some speculate that these beams may also serve as a form of support and/ or propulsion. Even so, these beams would appear to be different in purpose than the lights seen blinking, and changing color and intensity around the perimeter of the craft. Also note that triangular craft are also reported to have stationary lights of various intensities and colors at each corner of the craft, again suggesting that they may be related to the craft’s propulsion and anti-gravity system.

Frank says: – You theory most interesting and make much sense to me. This I do not hear before but sound very good explaining for lights and rays also colors. Good think information to remember.
Best information I see for long time. Thank you.
