Another Pathetic Attempt - An Alien Video

By , About.com GuideFebruary 10, 2010

Follow me on:

The latest poor attempt at portraying the capture an alien being on film comes from Australia. The little amount of information on the entry will give it away even before you see the video. Here is what the poster said:

I found this video quite by accident. It is not the best quality, but I thought I would share it here with you all. I found it very interesting. Could this be an Australian Grey, or a Australian Aborigine in the outback?

Check it out at Australian Alien Video, and comment as you wish.

Yes it is pathetic, they could of at least had the aliens arms and legs moving. It looks like a cutout pulled across the screen.

Why do you post such nonsense?

The video looks like a pile of rubbish. The mysterious figure does not look like a real person of any sort, in my opinion, and the fact that the figure was only filmed for such a short period of time seems absurd.

I hope nobody takes this video seriously.

Francisco, there’s no need to call people ignorant simply because they are rubbishing a nonsense video.

I particularly liked the music added at the end of the video. What was up with that?
george, Billy posts this nonsense because it’s out there and needs to be exposed. There are enough gullible people to tout things like this as real proof and muddy the waters for that which needs to be looked into.

Absurd. Looks like something a tenth-grader might try.

If you’re going to try to pass something off as genuine, at least put some effort into it. Relying on lots of jerky camera movements and brief, out-of-focus glimpses of strange figures is about as amateurish as you can get.

I recall having seen a photograph years ago, when I was in high school, in a book about flying saucers. This was during the 60’s, before we had descriptions of Greys or reports of abductions (save Betty and Barney Hill’s encounter). In this book was a photograph that purported to show an out-of-focus humanoid at some small distance behind the photographer’s baby daughter. The caption claimed that the photographer had been taking pictures of his daughter but did not notice the figure until after the pictures were developed.

Even aside from the obvious fact that the photographer absolutely could NOT have failed to see a strange figure lurking behind his toddler, a wide-eyed flying-saucer-nut teenager like I was could see immediately that the photo was fake, and pretty badly done at that. The photographer had obviously taken maybe a mannikin, or maybe even just a plywood shape, and covered it with aluminum foil. Then he stood it up and framed it behind his daughter, and shot a close-up of her with a low F-stop setting to decrease depth of field, throwing the figure out of focus to cover the fakery.

It’s a shame that there are so many charlatans who will hoax UFO “evidence”. Studying the phenomenon and drawing any real conclusions about it would be so much easier without their tomfoolery.

I agree with a couple of the other posters here.It is because of hoaxers like these that the ufo issue does not receive the serious attention that it deserves. What if there are aliens out there with hostile intentions toward the human race and you have people that are tainting the investigation with nonesense? These people need to realize the possible consequences of their actions.Would you feed your army poison before they went off to war?

Pathetic and unworthy of any serious consideration. It detracts from serious research activity, and most certainly is not worthy of even a dishonorabl mention on this site.
