Here is a recent report that I believe you will find of interest. An ABC affiliate is reporting that the governor of the Russian republic of Kalmykia, and a former president of the World Chess Federation, Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, has claimed that he was abducted by alien beings, and taken to their spaceship.
This incident allegedly took place on September 18, 1997. He reported his encounter recently on a popular Russian television show. He said that he was taken from his apartment, to the alien ship, and communicated with by means of telepathy.
I know this seems bizarre, but he is being taken seriously by the Russian government. They seem to accept his story, but are more concerned that he may have revealed "state secrets" to the aliens. Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has been called upon to interrogate Ilyumzhinov.
What do you make of this report?

Now why would a President and a politician at that be doing investigating an abduction incident?
Russian scientists have been in contact and abducted by aliens for years, including a whole busload that met at a prearranged location and disappeared leaving an empty bus behind.
And what primitive earth technology would be of any interest to the aliens?
I’m in agreement with PhilB. In what way is this abduction so unusual or spectacular that it warrants an interrogation? What “state secrets” of Kalmykia, or even all of Russia for that matter, are so important that they need to guard them from alien entities? And how would you keep telepathic entities from learning top-secret information if they had a mind to learn it??? I don’t see aliens as having that much interest in our petty dealings unless of course they deal with mankind’s survival or the state of the earth as a whole. A lot of worry for naught I think!

This story has been out for a couple weeks now.
As I understand it, Dmitry Medvedev isn’t to interrogate this guy but rather, Ilyumzhinov has gone to the president asking for the country to disclose what it knows about the UFO alien presence.

The call to interrogate illiyumazov is merely political maneuvering on the part of his rivals.
You need to understand how the political system here in russia works in order to comprehend the true menaing of this report.

There are many muslim states in the soviet union but i dont believe this is related to the muslim religion directly.
Even so the Quran states that the Jin have technology to teleport, fly into our dimension, and inflict all manner of evil upon humanity.
Say for example the national draw Mohammed (bless his name) day on Facebook.
Even if you draw him dressed in a bunny suit but label the picture Mohammed (bless his name) it is an act of war but where do the Jin come in?
Or say for example if you dressed Mohammed (bless his name) up in a pink frilly tu-tu it would still be offensive.
I have seen pictures of Mohammed (bless his name) dressed in an inexpensive burqini but that is still not allowed.

Kirsan Illyumzhinov is not a Muslim , nor is Kalmykia a republic with a Muslim population. Its Buddhist- The only national/subnational entity in Greater Europe with a significant Buddhist population.
