This topic has been discussed before, but bears repeating. With so much being said these days about the possibility of contact with beings not of this world, and the impact of such an event on our world as we know it, is certainly a worthy, yet controversial subject.

Thanks Mars for the link update. Are we to believe that we are the only intelligent life in the universe, and that God only created us? We are neophytes in this endless universe. Cavemen in intelligence. I do believe in God, and I further believe that any intelligence out there would also be created by God. Ok first of all, we have not one tiny inkling, not one shred of evidence, of ANY kind of life other than on this planet!
We have yet to discover even another planet with water like ours! Out of all those billions and countless billions of light years out there…

On the news we kill each other because of what we believe in? Uhh… What? Those who kill didn’t learn this theory in school? Was I the only one who didn’t fall asleep in history class?
On history/discovery we see a documentary showing amazing evidence that Jesus was married to Mary Madeline.

And now we bring aliens into the picture. Although I don’t know any aliens personally (I do believe in them however), I can almost guarantee you that they don’t worship any god that any human on earth may or may not believe in.

RELIGION…Control of the human race..The original teachings have been so distorted it just leads to our killing each other..As for the Vatican, an esoteric occult organisation. When the aliens came to Earth and Terra Formed it so they could live here it was recorded in the
bible as “God” creating trees, water, food and animals etc.
After Adam and Eve had a few kids they were sent out into the world to take mates. Who were they?
Who were the “Sons of God” who looked upon the woman of earth and found no suitable mate?
When the aliens decided to mate with the “animals” of this planet, they were punished and sent into exile into the desert for 40 years to purity their blood. Following a glowing disk in the sky each step of the way.
When the aliens had a hard time surviving on this planet a book on how to live here was written (the bible) what food was ok to eat, how to clean up after themselves, how to handle the dead, and basic rules of daily living. And also had some basic rules “written in Stone” and given to Moses.
So when the Aliens prove that they have been coming here for thousands of years, and people realize that the bible wasn’t written for them and all the things
that happend back BC and AD were part of aliens coming here, the Religious leaders better have a cover story for humans or panic will rise up and they
will lose control over the masses.
That’s why the Vatican made that announcement, to be ready
when the major contact event happens.
Aliens and the Catholic Church.
True the Catholic Church has and is operating their own SETI type operation. They have to accept the fact the there is alien life out there. If there isn’t they would be out of business!
Remember the Bible;. God created the earth and the heavens. God would technically be an alien. God did not come from earth – he created the earth and humans.
Even Jesus told us “I am not of this world”.
The Catholic Church or any church cannot call Jesus a liar.
The appearance of holy beings is often described as coming down from the “heavens” (sky)…
I am not Catholic, I am a Christian (not attached to any organized religion).
I just hope that when alien life makes formal contact the Catholic Church does not try doing what they did to the Mexicans when Spain claimed that country – killing half the population and converting the remainder of the people to the Catholic faith. Forced religion!
Remember it was the early Mayans who had contact with aliens and created the worlds most accurate calendar (2012) and detailed astrological charts. Did the Catholics kill so many Mexicans to wipe out their advanced knowledge, which the church so feared might create conflict in their teachings (programing)?
I say keep religion out of the alien contact issue. Religion (Catholic / Universal Church) has led to more wars and death than WW1 and WW2 put together.
We should be the Samaritan of the Bible. We accept anyone who would be our friend, but not deny our acceptance and help because of their beliefs.
I only hope that any alien contact is made with us the everyday people (nuts excluded) instead of the worlds governments with their secrets and hidden agendas.
We, the worlds citizens, are for the most part, just wanting to live in peace TOGETHER as one family of man. Our only enemy has become some organized religions with distorted and hateful beliefs and agendas.
Removing those barriers (bad beliefs and dogmas) would make the world a better place for everyone. Believe what we want, but don’t use it to alienate your fellow man for he too has a right to believe what he wants as well.
Soon enough all truths will be revealed and we will be one in faith, one true family of man….

However I also believe that God chose not to tell us everything. Believing in the possibility of other creations of God that we are not aware of, specifically aliens from other worlds, is not incompatible with my religious beliefs.

Omygosh. Kiddos, I’ve been trying to have a conversation with ANYONE about these beings who I have been seeing right here where I live! I’ve wondered also if they were Angels or the one silhouette was Jesus.
