An Italian member of the European Parliament, Mario Borghezio, got his name in the papers and on the Internet, when he publicly called for Europe to create its own archives of "close encounters of the third kind."
Continuing the recent trend of openness, Borghezio has also called for sightings by the military to be included in files that will be made available for public consumption.
Mr. Borghezio said all European governments should go public and stop what he called a "systematic cover-up."
Will it happen? Is this one more step in the course of total disclosure?

A great idea for sure. But will it happen, probably not.
Hi Billy!
I’m Italian and I (unfortunatly) have to tell you one thing that you may find interesting!
Mr. Borghezio is not quite a very well seen politician in Italy because he is one of the leaders of the northern-part of the country party: Lega Nord, a racist party that want to split italy in two saying that southern peolpe and immigrates are not equal of each other..
Borghezio was convicted for burning a ROM Camp some years ago and then for going on a train cleaning the seats were black women were sitting..
so… even if it may be, I’m not sure that Borghezio is a credible one.. unfortunatly lots of people voted for him, but i hope in the future there will be no more politicians like that!
Keep writing and thanks for the news billy!
Francesco

Hello,
I think it is a good idea to do such a thing, if somebody is not already doing it, I would be surprised.
Archiving UFO reports is not such a big deal.
De-classifying UFO reports IS a big deal.
The nations of this planet are waiting for a convergence of sorts, they know there is a phenomenon, but it is unreproducible in their labs, so any govt. who declassifies risks bring made a laughingstock.
