MUFON's Jeffrey Gonzalez (California), received a frantic phone call on the 24 hour hotline on August 23. The callers were screaming, "It's trying to take off, it's trying to lift!"
Gonzalez learned that witnesses had seen a black triangle craft crash into a mountain just north of Fresno. Gonzalez rushed to the location to see three bright lights coming from the crash site, and vehicles surrounding the scene.
When daylight broke, a strange stingray-shaped vessel in front of an abandoned shack on the mountain could be seen. There were also two massive burn marks on the hill.
What all of this means is uncertain at this time. But, when more information comes in, I will post an update.

i was sitting in my living room enjoying my usual nightly generous helping of ice cream,
when i looked out the window, and i saw this cake shaped object crash into a hill adjacent to my house!
i finished my helping of ice cream, then had some carrot cake,
then went over to the window to have a look see…
the ufo had changed shape into a pie-shaped object,
that made me hungry so i sat down and ate some pie…
For advanced technology, they seem to crash an awful lot.

If it’s the military “training” or “test flying” an experimental aircraft, we wouldn’t be firing on it.
Firing on this thing could be a BIG mistake, wtf are they thinking?
Greed for the technology will end up getting us all killed, huh?
We get a photograph of probably a forrest fire in the distance, but the “trained UFO investigator” who rushed to the scene and was close enough to see the craft and a small building next to it apparently “forgot” to snap a few pictures to share with us.
Billy, the quality of your content is beginning to degrade to the point that you and the blog are losing all credibility.
Either fix it or just admit you are a carney and a hoaxter yourself.
yeah this is a pretty lame photo considering what the witness reported seeing. Don’t attribute that “shysterness” to Billy though. He isn’t vouching for the report or adding any credibility to it by repostingit here. I enjoy the posts BIlly both the unexplainable ones and the lame ones.
if this is real, It wouldn’t be the first time I’ve heard of the military shooting at extraterrestrial craft..As I have come to understand it, there are different factions in the military with different agendas concerning this phenomenon…THIS WHOLE STORY IS SO BIG THEY CAN’T DISCLOSE IT. Don’t expect anything soon from the government.
Also,Billy is doing a great job..He keeps us informed wether the stories are lame or not..We have the choice to comment as we wish..But to imply Billy is a hoaxter c’mon get real.
I have to agree, If the guy ran out there and didn’t bring his camera with, he holds no credibility. He’s not new to this game.
This is suspicious, a guy waiting in a 24h UFO centre call and he has no camera with him??! I would not put to much credit on this story.

I totally agree guys. a expert whos job is to capture evidence of these events has no pictures or videos or anything but his word for us to go by? I dont even think this is worth any of our time. I wave the BS flag on this one yet again. Sadly all this does is make the legit stories harder to believe when they do happen. This may be disinformation or a hoax. All together i call it fake.
Afew weeks ago, another sighting came from the California foothills, to show a bright-light UFO decending and later a column of smoke rising from behind a rise in the foothills. Nothing more was ever said about that sighting! Now, we have yet another UFO incident in the California foothills, with a MUFON Investigator on site. Without any photographs, video or compelling evidence to the contrary- I, too, smell a hoax or a misidentified brushfire! If memory serves me correct, UFOs cannot be shotdown (like during WWII), eventhough they’ve downed our aircraft and rockets, and deactivated our nuclear missiles!? But what “they” are, I just don’t know!

So that’s it? You could see a triangle shaped vehicle on the hill and no pictures, no investigation? No one scrambled to the hill or call authorities or media?

I don’t understand something about the alleged sighting. The caller says about the craft, it has white lights on it, and that after the supposed crash, ‘it’s trying to lift off’, while they’re on the phone with MUFON.
I don’t understand how the caller, from a distance down the hill, looking back up the hill, at night (even with infrared or highly powerful binoculars, a telescope, an excellent camera or video camera, etc.) could see that a craft is trying to lift off of a mountain, up above the viewer, at night, in the dark, after crashing. Were the visible lights on it lifting off the ground (or the line of the top of the mountain) and falling back to earth after attempting? If so, how many attempts were there? These would leave additional crash ‘sites’ visible in the ground. Did anyone go find those? As others have asked, here, where is the video or the photos of that motion?
It seems an extraordinary claim for the caller not to have thought to record that visually (with so many cell phones having cameras and video capability). Also, why didn’t the MUFON rep, on the phone with the witness, immediately instruct him or her to video tape the attempted lift offs?

Where are the pictures guys….The article saying Gonzalez rushed to the site seeing bright lights eminating from the craft…and NO PICTURES!! The one pic on the wesite looks like a brush fire.
This is why there are so many doubters…Somebody please take a good camera when this stuff happens….C’mon!

It’s not fair and unwarranted to say that Billy is downgrading his material on this site. Shame on you who said it!!!! Billy was merely exposing us to this incident in which he gave to us to check it out and for us to comment.

Has anyone heard anything else about the Fresno CA alleged crash site? I thought there might be more to this but haven’t really found anything other than what was posted here and very little on MUFON site…….
It’s not good to have a dynamic story like this with virtually no follow-up. It makes the whole deal seem like bunk. Also, no parallel story at all was ever in the mainstream news. Very doubtful, folks.
