On August 29, we posted Did UFO Crash in California?. This incident has been the main topic of conversation among UFO students for the past week. Many of you have written me and asked for updates. Here is what I know.
I emailed Mr. Gonzalez three days ago asking what the status of the case was, and when we would get to see the video taken at the crash scene. On Saturday, I received his response.
He told me that a MUFON investigative team is scheduled to be at the crash site the first part of the coming week. After they have made a preliminary analysis of the case, the video Mr. Gonzales took will be made public. If I receive any more info, I will post it on our site. Thanks to all of you who are closely following this case.

Can’t wait to see it. It should be worth a few laughs.
Frankly, this case is sounding like a 1950s B Movie. That’s as sensible a comment as I can think of making, right now.
However, I’ll be objective and await some more sensible comments and evidence on this RedTop bonanza (or should that be banana?).
As for what Billy puts on this blog, the sort of high quality cases that some people seem to be demanding are, most of the time, non existent. With things as Billy does them, at least we get to see public reaction in progress and we can try to out-speculate each other; it all makes for a worthwhile intellectual exercise. And it’s a social event. And it’s a chance to be funny.
Now, argue with me. Ready? Go!
Even if I will keep a sceptic eye on this case, I am really curious to watch this video! Thanks Billy for the update.

It would be very interesting to know the true story and not a discredited version, like is usually given in sightings like this. I am a sky watcher and have seen many questionable lights thru the years. I am in the NW corner of So. Carolina. Tonite at 2035 hrs., I was on my back porch watching heavy aircraft traffic, from SW to NE, when I suddenly caught sight of a single bright, non-flashing globe. It was brighter than any stars or aircraft lights. It came directly from the SE to NW. it covered the distance from horizon to center sky in 4/5 seconds. As it neared my home, it suddenly and very visibly went from the very bright to approx. half bright, to quarter bright and then off. It was a totally cloudless night. The estimated altitude was two miles. I have 15 years heavy aircraft experience, all military type. This is one of several similar sightings this year.
mufon will be there in a week!!??, yeah after the govt got everything and vacuumed the ground clean!!
Thank you Joey! A UFO just crashed and I can see it real clearly. Can you come see it? Oh ok I’ll be there in 3 weeks! WTF?
A WEEK later!! Might as well forget it. The government will not leave anything to look at in that time.

Hey everyone, this is Jeffrey Gonzalez. State section Director and Investigator with MUFON and Founder of the http://www.SangerParanormalSociety.com . Mr Dan A. I was told not to release these video’s by Ruben Urairte, Northern Director of MUFON for NorthernCalif. They wanted to come down to the site and interview the witness and check out everything first. I am not in this to make any money. They did come down Memorial Day, Monday and that night I released the video’s. Something did crash on the side of that Mountain. I believe the witnesses 100%…It took me 25 min to get to the crash site and I believe the craft was taken away before I got there. I did record activity on the mountain…sorry I was 3 to 4 miles away.. The site was on private land so I couldn’t get to it, even the folowing day.
