Early this morning, 09-07-10, I received an email from California MUFON Investigator Jeffrey Gonzalez, informing me that the video files of the alleged crash of an unknown object near Fresno, California, were now available.
The files are quite lengthy, and presented in five parts. There will be a lot of activity at youtube today, I am sure. The video begins with the actual phone reports coming to Gonzalez, and continues through the filming of the crash site.

It’s a triangle with a light in the center. It’s either a UFO or an experimental U.S. aircraft. Did I hear them say that troops have it surrounded?

I have to say – my first reaction was that the lack of pictures spoke against it’s credibility. I have yet to see the pictures or video so I can’t pass judgement on it yet but the fact that pictures and video exist at all rather than “Disappearing” (AKA : Never existed and are being conveniently blamed on a govt cover-up) impresses me.
Maybe there is something to this after all is what I am saying.

however they also seem to be quite inconclusive…
because of the low resolution of his camera, the close-up footage of the supposed “manta-type craft” is blurry and pixelated…
the question also begs to asked, if this is really secret stealth aircraft, (or alien) why would the military leave it out in the open on a hillside for all to see?
why couldnt mr gonzalez not hike up further towards the hill for a better shot of the object?

Looks like the owner of that house lost his dog, grabbed the flash lights, found the dog and saw where the dog escaped from the fence/gate and so then the owner welded the gate shut so that dog will not escape.
Shaky hand camera, Blurry, out of focus images, unintelligible voices……What is this, the Blair UFO Project? Someone should file a class action law suit against this joker for all the time wasted watghing this BS.

Yep, pretty weak all around. Without the testimony I’d have to say Jimbob may be on to something. My hearing is not the best, I admit, but I couldn’t make out much of anything Justin was describing. Whah… whah whah… whah… sort of like a Charlie Brown and Snoopy tapping. Thank goodness Jeffrey would paraphrase occasionally letting me know what he was hearing. Maybe they’ll add subtitles later. Though I realize it was not the investigator doing the initial tapping of the sceen; you investigators need thermal, night vision, and at least a 20x zoom (not digital) low lux capable video camera or better yet a telescope with video capability. And why the low quality youtube vids? I’ve seen resolutions up to 720p HD on youtube. Take Alison Kruse’s videos for example, at least you can make out some detail with her vids ran up to 720p resolution. With these I just see lumps and lights.
Assuming they actually witnessed a ship/vessel I share the belief of many investigators out there – if it’s triangular it’s US!

The video without any pictures from the crash is only just a lot of hype from a woman and son who just happened to have the guys phone number who just happened to have a video recorder (passenger) with him.
It says that there are more videos but for some unknown reason these other videos which are very important do not exits (at least in the report).
I’m with most sentiments, shared here.
I would hope that a MUFON investigator wouldn’t have a more powerful video camera (for just such a situation).
I don’t understand why we had the benefit of the audio recording being ‘on’ to capture the sounds during the ‘drive over’ but didn’t while they taped the goings on up the hill.
The daytime footage wasn’t very compelling. As others have said, why not walk up the hill? Why not ring the home owner’s doorbell and ask if they saw what happened the night prior?!
Why didn’t the MUFON investigator call and report a crash to the local press, and ask the local press to go up and investigate what had crashed (if anything), at the time, as he drove over?
Why is it taking until this week for MUFON to get to the site to investigate it? It seems a bit of a wait.
I am not sure that I saw anything extraordinary, either. I know it’s a tough biz, to research UFO reports, but there should be investigation standards, as evidenced by just this very “case” and investigation.
I also say, “hmmm….” for now.
I feel that this could have been big. But why did they not get their butts up that hill and get some pictures and video that we can use… or see for that matter. I hope someone had enough fortitude to get close to the scene and get some good shots. At this point we really just have a bunch of lights at night with no structure. We can’t use any of it as far as I can see. The best video I’ve seen so far is from the night after of the triangle in the sky. That’s something we can at least take a look at and do some analysis! I’m pretty dissappointed. I hope some better video turns up.
I don’t see how anyone can justify the criticism that has been levelled at the MUFON investigator.
He might not have known how to get closer. He was guaranteed a wide view of the area from where he was. Do any of you know about the local terrain? Going through difficult ground at night can be hard enough when you know your route and harder when you do not. It might even be impossible to know how to get where you want to go, assuming you are aware which direction your goal is.
Also, it might be extremely dangerous to get too close to a strange situation.

I for one would LOVE to be a field investigator for MUFON or for another UFO investigative group. My question is, Doesn’t MUFON supply equipment for their investigators or do they (the investigators) have to supply their own stuff? If they have to supply their own stuff, Why?
I would also think the investigators should go full speed ahead and do whatever it takes to get the story! As I understand it, doesn’t it cost money to train to become an investigator for MUFON? And if so, what becomes of that money and the money from the donations? It seems to me that money should be spent on advanced equipment such as Night Vision cameras with telescopic lenses and such!
This had the makings of a great story but really ended up being the same old story, nothing to see here! In my opinion, MUFON needs the backing of interested millionaires for the truth about UFOs. Spare no expenses to train groups almost like paramilitary with equipment to back them up, NOT GUNS, but cameras, night vision, recording devices, Vans or trucks.
Now I know you can’t be everywhere, but the tactics MUFON has tried so far has not provided the evidence needed to say “See, I told you so!” It’s time to go in a different direction! This group needs to be highly mobile and ready to move at the drop of a hat!.
I can’t say that the videos convinced me of anything except that someone shot videos of some movement and lights around a house at night. The “triangle” video with the man and woman talking shows what appears to me to be a conventional aircraft flying in a large circle. You have two navigation lights, one on each wing, and an anti-collision strobe under the bottom of the aircraft. It would be easy at night to imagine that this light arrangement defined a triangular object.
The daytime video shows nothing identifiable.
The “arc welding” video doesn’t, IMHO, show any serious welding or cutting. The brief flashes, if they were produced by a welder, wouldn’t be indicative of much more than a welder striking an arc, or possibly tack-welding at best.
The video of Jeff driving to the alleged crash site would seem to contain audio of a call from persons who did observe an actual incident. However, people have been known to pull pranks – it’s just possible that these two were messing with “a UFO nut”. Where are any videos made by Jeff, who seemed to have a low-light camcorder, of the alleged crash site? I keep a small HD camcorder in the truck at all times, and I believe that if I spent time making a video of me talking with someone on a Smartphone about an alleged UFO crash as I was driving to the site, I’d dang sure try to get some video of the crash site itself.
I’m not saying that this whole thing was faked or a prank, just being a bit of the Devil’s Advocate.
Overall, unconvincing at best. At worst, a poorly concocted prank or hoax.
I agree with GADRANNANNA. The MUFON Investigators
are respected people who do not lie about what they see.
It’s childish when people make comments like..Oh it’s false, it’s a fake, etc. etc. The terrain at night would have been harsh scrub and no one, unless they knew where they would be going, would be silly enough to try and drive through it, especially at the dead of night with the blackness. I thought that it was a good effort considering the circumstances. I believe it was a true event as the witnesses were screaming with fear in their voices.

Hello everyone, Jeffrey Gonzalez here. The one who shot the video. again, I would like to answer some of the questions are having on this whole incident. One comment I heard was how it was pretty convenient for me to have a camera man video taping me as I was driving. I was hold the camera with my right hand. I rotated the LCD display on the camera so I could watch myself to make sure I was in frame…Also, the other comment was how convenient that they had my number….Ok, have you ever been to my web site. http://www.SangerParanormalSociety.com. I purchased, with my own money a 24 hr UFO hotline 559-287-UFOS(8367) thats a cell number. I have skywatchers all over Central calif where I have been networking on Face book. We have had a lot of sighting’s here in Fresno especially near that mountain and that’s how I became friends with Justin He called me a couple of Month’s ago wanting to tell someone about all the activity around this mountain. we think there is a secret D.U.M.B. located over that hill. we have seen army helicopters coming from that area. That’s why I started the Paranormnal Society and became involved with MUFON. I wish MUFON would supply everyone with better equipment but that’s not the way it works. The site was about 3 to 4 miles away with no light on the hill what’s so ever. I could not get to the site for its private land surrounded by the Kern canal. I tried, trust me. Even if I wanted to that night, I wansn’t about to for if the Military was up there and if they spotted me, my equipment would have been gone. I wasn’t about to take that chance. I stayed the whole night out there. What investigator would have done that. My wife was upset at me…but I wasn’t going to take the chance and miss something.
