Former Canadian defense minister Paul Hellyer, known for his belief in UFOs and aliens, always seems to say something that spawns conversation and debate. Some of his latest remarks are certainly no exception.
Hellyer states without exception that the US knows that alien races could assist us in many ways, but will not announce their presence to the world.
Hellyer declared: "Decades ago, visitors from other planets warned us about where we were headed and offered to help. But instead we, or at least some of us, interpreted their visits as a threat, and decided to shoot first and ask questions after," he told an audience. "Planes were lost, he said, either because of retaliation or stupidity."
Here is the question: What does Hellyer really know, how much does he know, and are his statements legitimate? What do you think?
