Well, this did not come as a surprise. Two recent petitions to the White House asking for
disclosure of extraterrestrial contact did receive an answer, just not the one a lot of folks were hoping for:
"The U.S. government has no evidence that any life exists outside our planet, or that an extraterrestrial presence has contacted or engaged any member of the human race," said Phil Larson from the White House Office of Science & Technology Policy, on the WhiteHouse.gov website.
This is exactly why I did not push this here at about.com. I don't care how many people signed the petitions, the answer was a foregone conclusion.

Here’s me thinking God is an Extraterrestrial and the US gov saying he don’t exist and didnt be here for us. Boo Mr US Gov. Maybe they should have a clarifier statement done on that maybe.

Sure I’d like to believe they have all the Roswell evidence stashed away reverse engineering it simply because it makes the story awesome. But they may be right! They may not have anything at all while year after year they wish UFO enthusiasts like us would simply shut up & leave them alone about Roswell & other mysteries like it.
One of these days someone will get evidence the government will be forced to go public with, we just have to be patient. Our knowledge & view of the galaxy is growing so fast! We’re getting close! Hang in there!
How come other governments have released their ufo documents and America hasn’t? Shades of Pravda!
I do have to agree and history shows us that even Presidents that have tried to get information on UFO’s have been denied on a need to know basis so they say. Personally if I were that President I would of done everything in my power to remove the toad that denied me on such a basis.
What a typical answer. At least they could have said in addition that there are sightings or other things that are as yet unexplainable. I don’t have the answer as much as I do or don’t want to believe, but neither do they and honesty on their part would have been so nice.
What else would the government say? What else could they say? Yes, we’ve known for years that extraterrestrials exist but we didn’t think you, the great unwashed masses, could handle the truth. This is a question that will remain unanswered. After years of coordinated deception by factions within the government, we don’t know what to believe regarding UFOs, abductions, or ETs. Even if the truth, whatever it is, was rolled out for us on a red carpet, there would be those who believe it, and those who don’t.
UFO’s and the Otherworldly do exist. Keep watch and write down what you see. All sorts of people have their own personal experiences so it does not matter what answer they give.
Maybe if they would just explain why reports on Roswell are still heavily redacted and why even Congressmen are denied that information. If there’s nothing to the story then why the need for secrecy 64 years later? They can’t claim national security if it was something our own government was doing, which is what they tell us happened, when this much time has passed.
Barack Obama has proven himself to be the absolute wrong choice for this country in so many other areas of governance, so it’s not surprising that he would disappoint ufology investigators as well.
The WH denial to the UFO petitions was actually stupid. I cannot see how their statement will in anyway help Mr. Obama in his electoral run for a second term.
All this stuff flying around everywhere, people witnssing, real videos being shot of it or caught on sec cameras and still there isn’t a formal US announcement of the reality, just terestrial denial.
Cripes, even the Vatican is letting the possibility out of their secret vault.
THIS WAS NOT STUPID!!! I say this because everyone should be aware that trying to elect someone to the highest office in this land only on the hopes that they will disclose the truth that we are not alone, people have been abducted, we have technology that will help save this planet by not depleting earths precious limited natural lubricant or however the fossil fuels support the health of Mother Earth, only to keep the richest among us rich! It shows how far they will go to keep it quiet.
We will only be aware of visitors when they step forward to show themselves! For those of you that voted for this President only on the hopes that he would disclose, SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!! There are those that did just that, I know because they’ve admitted it to me! This President was in Norway when the spiral ( portal ) appeared in the sky and was written up and tried to be passed off as a failed Russian rocket! That man is connected some how, to whomever came through that portal to witness him receive the Nobel Peace Prize!
The whole ufo phenomenon is demonic in origin, and even though the U.S. government most likely doesn’t realize that, they do know that there is something happening, and whether I’m right about it being demonic or not, the U.S. government would not admit that something is going on. I personally believe they do know something is going on, and they are lying. Astronauts and military men have admitted seeing them and the U.S. government is basically calling them a liar, well, they are the ones who are lying, but that’s what you can expect from the U.S. govenment.
Why would the White House know? The only kind of president that would know would be a very covert minded one. I would expect something like Independence Day. No one would say anything until they had to. If there was anything to know. Plus I’m sure the military has to really keep secrets to keep all of the experimental programs going. A politician would spend that money on political favors.

As I have pointed out before on this site, if the Truth is ever disclosed to the public it will mean the end of life on this planet. Pretty good reason not to go public if you ask me!

I just mean everyone would finally know without a doubt the govt had been lying for years. Everything about the govt’s actions, everything they ever did would come into question. They’re stuck. Now that’s just my guess. No one really knows, they can only guess. Too many people around think they have the all the answers, they don’t, no one does. You can only speculate.
