In our first article of March, we have a very detailed account of a UFO sighting that
occurred in Fayetteville, Arkansas on January 23, 2012.
The sole witness relates that while driving from Fayetteville from Farmington he was distracted by a solitary light in the sky. After studying the light/object for a time, he ruled out planets, stars, or any other conventional craft.

Theres no mention of a crescent moon as I may of thought of Jupiter. Jupiter and Venus are close to the moon at this time of the year. Although the movement described is strange. You can get in touch with the local Astronomy Group to check the position of the night sky at that time. Ruling out satellite and aircraft it really then becomes an ‘unknown’.
i had seen a similar flying object in Chennai,India in the month of march 2009. It was after me and a group of 5 other guys had witnessed this mysterious flying object that we joined this group. We were shocked to read about sightings with similar descriptions. I can not be human since it seemed to levitate rather than fly through the air.
Kris says word “levitate” which make very very intresing memory for me. In 2010 near Tibet border width Nepal me and my aunt and my ucle see one night bright light in sky. Not move but stay all stillin sky for long time like if “levitate“. We only think maybe lantern with light escaping from next town celebration. But I always am still wunder if this was a UFO. Could be but also could be lantern.
what i want to say is that what you saw and witnessed.i also saw the same thing.it was after 9pm/ when we were outside looking at the stars.what we saw we could not explain.and we thought of calling the police or someone to come out and see it for themselves but never did.we just stayed outside for quite along time just looking at it..we lived out in the country and the east sky was very visable to us.stars were all out..as we were looking we noticed a very bright star.more brighter than the others.and then as i was looking at the stars i noticed that the star i was looking at was moving.i told my friend to look at that star it was moving.he looked and it was moving..it would move up very slowely and back down and and then it would move back and fourth.sideways.and then back to where it started out.it was a very bright white color.and then it would blink slowely and then blink a little more faster.then stop and start the process over and start moving again..at times it would move away farther back that it got dimmer as it moved away..and then be back again..i know…we know it was not a star..and every night it appeared for a week or more.and we watched it every night..now i wished we would of reported it..maybe someday ill go back out their again and see if it comes out again…QUESTION..did you report this to anyone of what you saw..and have you saw anything else.thanks was glad to tell you about my incident.
I think what he probably saw was a planet, either Venus or Jupiter which are very bright this time of the year. If you look long enough at a fixed point of light in the dark sky, it will appear to move, change shape and color. It’s all a trick of the eye..
Go out the next clear night in the exact same spot as the sighting and see if you you can see the object again? If yes, it’s a bright planet such as Venus or a bright star like Sirius. If no, it’s still a light in the sky and that doesn’t mean it’s an alien craft, etc.
It’s being fishy to others for lack of video recording, etc, however, explanations to these as it all happened during nighttime is dubitable. Ca’nt Satellite Authorities have a better explanations to all of these?
To Leonard says: I agree you remark it always during nightime. I alatime noticing witniss see lights in sky alatime in dark night when they alatime on balconie having smoke. Do smoking peoples never see ojbect in sky in daytime lite? Do no- smoker witniss never see nightime lights? What do smoking so much have to do with to see ojbects in sky in day or in night? I like to know. Mus be always somebody to smoking when see lights in sky? Do you thinnk?
