1986 - Japan Airliner 1628 Encounters UFO over Alaska

I have been looking at some UFO reports for this year, and I started with Alaska. In doing my research, I was surprised that I had never covered the famous JAL 1628 encounter with UFOs in 1986; a case I have studied in detail.

This case is considered one of the best reports of a UFO report made by a passenger plane. The plane was actually delivering a special shipment of French wine from Paris to Tokyo. As they crossed into the state of Alaska, they were shocked to see unknown lights not far from their 747.
