What's Happening in Alaska This Year

By , About.com GuideAugust 9, 2012

Follow me on:

We began our coverage of UFO sightings in Alaska with one of Ufology's landmark cases, The JAL 1628 Encounter. We are now looking into sighting reports in 2012 from the state.

Our first reports come from Anchorage and Metlakatla. The report from Anchorage describes five objects which cycled various colors on the first day of this year. In Metlakatla, we have a very unusual report from a man and his young son.

Check these out at UFO Encounters in Alaska, Part 1, and be sure to comment as you wish.

Between Mt. McKinley and Nome, Alaska? I was reading earth files, a good article, it seems pretty convince, something might be there ,but as always the military don’t know anything, i wonder if you can look into it.

No – not a large pyramid, but a large object similar to the Sphinx.
It was discovered by week-end amature explorers who were overcome by the overpowering stench in the area.
The residents and the USAF told them that what they discovered is known locally as the sphinx. . .that stinx.

Hey, Google 63deg 18min N / 152deg 32min E
Approximately 45deg down to the right of the marker you will see a faint square. By looking at Google maps as well you will see a guide to measurement and be able to work out the base size ………. it is about 1520 feet per side, if I remember rightly,
which is twice the size of Cheops ……….
