Nick Pope, as you know, was a former adviser for Great Britain on the UFO mystery. He is well known and his comments are regarded quite highly.
For some reason, he has chosen now to admit to the fact that his country not only possessed, but stockpiled weapons developed to defend against an alien invasion.
Great Britain has been giving the impression that they regard UFOs very lightly, but unless something has changed in the last 10 years or so, this is not true.
So, Great Britain has weapons to fight off aliens. Why?

England has had a very long history of UFO encounters. They must know more than they let on. To me this seems perfectly true. Not sure why they (alien races) pick this spot in the world though, maybe because it is an old culture?
‘Aliens’ as in hostile ‘Foreign countries’ perhaps is what he probably meant.
Billy, Great Britain has weapons against other countries that would try to invade them. I don’t think these are any different than they would use in an alien invasion. I doubt they have special weapons for alien encounters. In any case it sure would be a bad idea to try to fight them our technology against theirs. The best thing would be to communicate and try to make peace. If that doesn’t work, the best way to fight anyone more technologically advanced would be to befriend them, find out their weakness and then go after them.
I think alien invasion is possible. But we should not be worried about it, because government is going to take care of us. And you know why? I think there are many secret organizations in UK that will either take care of it, or as Scott mentioned they will just talk over it:))))
